Warhammer: Don't Call Me the God of All Machines

Chapter 211 Going to the Relic Vault

Chapter 211 Going to the Relic Vault
"The Primarch has sent the signal. This metal cage will release us."

In the bridge command room of the Dark Angels flagship, the Indomitable Truth, Captain Stannis spoke to the other crew members.

Through the portholes, they could see the intricate network of metal pipes and the minimalist machines flying back and forth.

The engines, which are composed of several basic modules, are directly attached to the raw materials. They spit plasma flames and push the materials to the target location.

The endless energy released by the reactor is directly transmitted in the form of high-energy laser beams. In this empty space, this is undoubtedly an extremely efficient way of utilizing energy.

"We still cannot understand why the Ultramarines were able to create such a huge celestial structure. The things built in this dock are definitely not something that those fools of the Mechanicus can control."

The void-roaming metallic behemoth was sent by the enraged Ultramarines after the spirit that haunted the bowels of the Indomitable Truth unleashed four hundred drop pods. It devoured the Indomitable Truth as easily as a mortal swallows a jelly bean.

"The lion ordered us to obey his orders, and we obeyed his orders."

Stannis's nerve-damaged face was expressionless, and he uttered cold, mechanical words.

The Indomitable Truth was bound by an invisible force to a vacant construction site in the giant dock. All the airtight doors, connecting doors and open platforms had been locked. Stannis would never let any Extreme Marine enter.

However, although those guys from the Thirteenth Legion imprisoned them, they did not take the opportunity to do anything. They simply ignored the existence of the Indomitable Truth and did not even send a supply ship.

It was not until the crew of the Indomitable Truth saw the giant battleship being built at the No. 3 construction site next door, a planetary battleship code-named "Thundercloud". In front of it, the Indomitable Truth was as small as a barge.

During these days, the Ultramarines did not hide anything, but generously displayed everything in front of the First Legion.

Stannis almost watched the steel behemoth becoming more complete every day. His steel body was filling up like growing flesh and blood, which meant terrifying industrial efficiency.

"Lord Lion must remain vigilant against Guilliman and the Ultramarines. The strength of these guys..."

In the eyes of the captain, the Indomitable Truth was the strongest of all the Queen of Glory-class battleships, but even so, he was not absolutely sure that he could fight against the completed Thundercloud-class battleship.

This is based on the enormous power of the hidden weapons in the secret vault of the Indomitable Truth.

Alarms were coming from the battleship's Thinker system. The bonds that bound the battleship's body were being removed. The freed Indomitable Truth stretched out its steel skeleton, and the long-dormant reactor engine began to run again.

The huge enveloping sky slowly opened, and the dazzling blue energy shield left enough space for the Indomitable Truth to escape.

"Secondary engines started, all ships ready."

"Scan array, weapon array, void shield system is back online."

Following the captain's orders, the high-level technicians on the Indomitable Truth, the Mechanicus priests, tens of thousands of crew members and workers, as well as the slaves who were made into servitors, restored the Glorious Queen to vitality.

The Indomitable Truth is leaving the control range of Hera Dock, and the gravitational force exerted by this huge celestial creation is weakening.

The captain's heart was finally at ease. Even though the Extreme Marines claimed that they would lift the control, he never let down his guard for a moment.

In other words, the habit of vigilance has long been integrated into Stannis' blood and has become an instinctive reaction no different from breathing.

He had long been a part of the Unyielding Truth; he would remain vigilant and calm. "The Primarch's signal is on the orbital platform ahead. Maintain your speed," the captain commanded. The entire Glorious Queen idled into the target starport, where their master, Lion King, was waiting.

Roche now stood side by side with the Lion, while Guilliman stood on the other side.

When he heard about Roche's plan, Lord Macragge showed up in person without hesitation and boarded Lion's flagship with Roche.

"I was worried that you would suffer a loss when you came to my petty brother's territory, so I thought it would be better for me to come here in person to prevent you from being fooled by this guy."

"This guy's secret vault is full of treasures. The Emperor only allowed him to keep those relic technologies. Maybe the STC storage room on Mars doesn't have more stored than the flagship of the First Legion."

Guilliman lowered his voice, but it was clear to the lion's ears.

The Lord of the First Legion waited for the barge to arrive from the Indomitable Truth, greatly annoyed by Guilliman's whispering.

"I'm not that deaf, Roboute, and you'd better keep quiet in my boat."

Roche just felt that Guilliman and Lion always looked a little funny when they were together. They might both think that the other had bad intentions, but in the eyes of bystanders, these two people were too similar.

They obviously don't seem to be compatible, but they know each other very well and can even guess and feel each other's little thoughts.

The barge sent by the Dark Angels quickly and accurately docked at the edge of the starport. All outsiders had been cleared out, and only the Dark Angels' guards remained.

However, when those dark angels looked at Roche and Guilliman, there was inevitably an unfriendly look in their eyes. Roche was also carefree and boarded the barge without any care.

The Dark Angels' warships were completely different from those of the Ultramarines. There were cold metal barriers everywhere. It took Ryan and the other two nearly half an hour to reach the target area.

Without guidance, even an invader would find it extremely difficult to find the right direction in this extremely complex steel forest.

Not to mention the hidden areas of the warships, which are equipped with endless automatic traps and guard forces.

Those traps are no harmless non-lethal defenses, most of them are dangerous weapons capable of killing Space Marines outright.

Once you take the wrong path or accidentally touch a sensitive area, these automated devices will immediately open fire and blast the intruder to pieces.

Ryan personally unlocked more than six different levels of security checks. Roche noticed that there were fully armed Dark Angel veterans patrolling around the clock in every place. These Astartes belonging to different companies and different orders gave him the feeling that they were even stronger than the Ever-Victorious Army.

"In terms of individual soldier quality, the Dark Angels are more elite than the Ultramarines before they were refitted. This is also part of the First Legion after it suffered several major blows."

"If it is the Dark Angel that was victorious before the war against Randan as rumored, what kind of terrifying existence would it be?"

Luo Xi thought to himself that if an entire Dark Angel Legion came, then it would not be so easy for him to discuss cooperation with Ryan.

He is now using his power to pressure the Lion King, who considered many factors before agreeing so readily.

A Dark Angel wearing Terminator armor opened the door of the secret vault, and finally, the secret vault that stored most of the Dark Angel's relics and technology appeared in front of Luo Xi.
