Chapter 117 The Great Collector
“They failed.”

In the pocket dimension, the awakened Necron Overlord watched as the Necron warriors on the battlefield were slaughtered by humans wearing power armor.

Its head hurts. The sudden awakening has messed up its thinking circuits. The long time has eroded its sanity and thinking ability.

But as the supreme ruler of this tomb world, the Undead Overlord still sits on his throne.

The Tomb Technician stood loyally by the side. He was the engineer and scientist among the Necrons, responsible for maintaining the normal operation of the tomb world and occasionally conducting Necron scientific research.

The tomb technician with the iconic one-eyed dragon appearance was waiting for the Overlord's order, but the Overlord who was awakened from his slumber was obviously not in good shape.

It leaned on its throne like an old human being, tapping its skull made of living metal with its palms.

The crisp knocking sounds echoed in the wide space.

"These useless warriors... let, let... what's that called?"

The Overlord tried hard to recall the more advanced guard forces, but its memory module could not feedback their names.

"Is it the Death Mark?" asked the Tomb Technician.

"Yes, yes, that's it. Let them cut off the heads of those damn flesh-and-blood primates." The Overlord seemed to have suddenly figured it out and immediately gave orders.

"Those lowly humans are not worthy of sending the noble Death Mark to another one."

The Overlord was stunned, and it vaguely felt that something was wrong.

It is clearly the overlord, how dare a mere tomb technician overstep his authority?
Does this dynasty have the final say, or do you?
In the open space nearby, the Tomb Technician held a scepter that was glowing with green energy. The green light in its single eye was much clearer and brighter than that of the Overlord.

What the sleepy overlord didn't see was that there wasn't much respect in the eyes of the tomb technician he trusted, but more of a kind of - amusement.

The Overlord, who had even forgotten the name of the Mark of Death, didn't care about this little thing. He scratched his head anxiously, and his thinking core simulated the feeling of "scratching" when he was still a flesh and blood creature.

As the overlord of the dynasty, the bio-transformation it underwent was naturally the most advanced one. It retained most of the memories from the Necrontyr period, and its thinking core was also able to simulate those precious emotions.

"What type of troops should I send? Technicians."

The necromancer bowed slightly, using the ancient etiquette of the Necrontyr.

"Send the Immortals and the Destroyers. They are just some insignificant humans. There is no need to fight them." The Tomb Technician unknowingly decided on the power to be sent on behalf of the Overlord, guiding it to make choices according to his will.

"Hmm... You're right. My most trusted technicians will be Immortal and Destroyer."

"Those useless civilians still disappoint me after being transformed into metal bodies. If it weren't for showing my mercy and kindness, I would never have given them this chance."

After showing his disdain and noble character, the overlord leaned back on the throne again, feeling the stuttering sensation coming from his body.

After confirming that the owner of the tomb world was indeed mentally ill, the tomb technician bypassed the Undead Overlord and walked directly into the treasure house of the dynasty in this remote place as if he was in an empty space.

It held the scepter leisurely, swaying and moving between various warehouses and static positions.

"This old guy still has some treasures. These precious things that record history should of course be handed over to me for safekeeping."

"Since you gave it to me sincerely, I will accept it out of mercy."

The tomb technician waved his scepter without hesitation, and the warehouse doors made of black stone and living metal were easily opened.

It waved its hand, and the things it liked were put into the pocket dimension it carried with it.

"Let the Mark of Death kill all those humans. What else can I collect? You are such a sleepy old fellow." The tomb technician spoke without any respect for the master of the tomb world.

"A few veterans who escaped the Istvaan V massacre, and a blue can with a red helmet. Hmm, good quality."

After it emptied the warehouse, it gently closed the door. "The most important thing is a little fellow who has slept since the 21st millennium of humanity." "A human immortal, a miracle created by a one-in-a-billion mutation, a symbol of a short-lived species' attempt to climb the timeline."

"What a precious collection! They are part of a history that can never be erased."

The Necromancer returned to the presence of the Necron Overlord.

"Perhaps I can stage a historical event of the Great Escape in my museum and Prism Gallery, and the theme will be called "The Avengers of Istvaan"."

The Undead Overlord, who was scratching his head, looked at his tomb technician in astonishment. It seemed to have changed its appearance and was no longer the maintainer of the tomb world he knew.

"Who are you……??"

The Undead Overlord was about to say something because he saw some of his precious collections, some of which were even treasures from the Age of Necrontyr, being held in the hands of this guy.

"That's its thing!"

"Go back to sleep, old man," said the Necromancer, or rather the being that had taken over the Necromancer's living metal body.

The awakening protocol was terminated, and the Undead Overlord sat there with a blank mind. Some tomb spiders and tomb ghosts floated around and escorted the Undead Overlord into sleep again.

"They are really ignorant and ignorant people, their minds are full of fighting and killing."

The living metal squirmed and deformed, and the one-eyed Tomb Technician slowly turned into a Necromancer of a different appearance.

Trazyn, the Necron Overlord of the Nehrak Dynasty and curator of the Tomb World of Solemnas Art Gallery, known as the Infinite, has arrived here.

Of course, this was just a living metal body that it had snatched away.

This maverick Undead Overlord is completely different from other Undeads. It loves collecting and recording history, and often walks by controlling or taking over the metal bodies of other Undeads.

Trazyn stood before the tomb world's holographic display, holding its iconic staff of empathic annihilation.

This weapon with the ability to fold and reassemble can cross the vast space of the universe and directly fall into the hands of the body controlled by Trazyn.

This wondrous scepter is rumored to have come from the time of the War in Heaven, a piece of Warp technology seized from the generous hands of the Creators.

"It's better not to send out the Death Mark. I'll collect nothing after destroying all these precious collections. Let a few Immortals and Destroyers do it."

The Endless tapped the screen a few times casually, releasing the more advanced Undead Sleepers from their dormant states.

Waking up the sleeping Necrons prematurely would, in a sense, damage their already fragile memory cores and thought processes.

But to Trazyn, these were just a few insignificant pawns.

The Undead Overlord sat in the position of overlord of this small dynasty, with his hands folded across his chest as he did in the days of the Necrontyr, staring with interest at the Immortal Guards on the screen who were moving towards evacuating humanity.

“My recording equipment is ready and hopefully it will add some exciting moments to my collection process.”

The Great Collector certainly didn't just happen to appear on the planet Sosa. Even for the Necrons, this place was quite remote, with only a dynasty that was as small as it could be guarding a Pharos device.

In fact, this Necron Overlord, who is full of the spirit of recording history, has always been paying attention to the young but extraordinary human race.

Even before Terra was unified, Trazyn had visited the human home planet and collected several Thunder Warriors made by the Emperor.

As for the two places of great historical significance, Isstvan III and Isstvan V, Trazyn would certainly not be absent. It naturally also discovered the Red Alert that had revived and escaped from that planet.

And today, when Roche visited Sousa on the Red Alert and tried to crack the code of Faros, the great collector finally couldn't stand it anymore and decided to meet him in person.
