Eri returned the books she had finished reading one by one with practiced ease, and then selected a few new law-related books from the bookshelf.

Lin Xiuyi browsed through the mystery novel section and picked out a new work by Keigo Higashino.

The two walked out of the library and were about to go to the nearby station to take the tram home when they suddenly heard a child crying and arguing not far away.
