"Shuichi?" Tomizawa Chikage was startled and quickly went to the three girls' side. She immediately saw Lin Shuichi lying unconscious on the hospital bed. "What happened to him?"

“I don’t know,” Eri wiped her eyes. “The doctor said he was perfectly healthy, but for some reason he has been in a coma and we can’t wake him up no matter what we do.”

"How could this happen?" Tomizawa Chikage swayed, her face suddenly turning pale.

"Sister Qianying," Chengshi quickly helped her up, her little face full of worry.

"What exactly happened?" Tomizawa Chikage asked anxiously. "He was perfectly fine when I saw him last time."

“We don’t know either,” Eri Kisaki shook her head and briefly explained what had happened. “A little over an hour ago, at the izakaya, he said he was going to the storage room to get some ingredients, but he never came back… When we went in, we found him lying on the floor unconscious.”

By the end, her voice choked with emotion, and she could no longer continue.

"Everyone, could you please let us take him into the ward first?" The nurse couldn't help but ask when she saw several girls surrounding Lin Xiuyi.

Eri and the others quickly made way, and a nurse pushed Lin Xiuyi into the ward.

“Naruma is right, Shuichi will be alright,” Eri Kisaki wiped away her tears. “Reiko, Midori, you should go back first. You have school tomorrow. I can take care of things here.”

"No!" Reiko clung tightly to her brother's arm. "I want to stay here with Onii-chan!"

As she spoke, she placed her brother's hand on her tear-streaked cheek.
