Chapter 1 Experimental Subject: Ming Che
On a street somewhere in Eridu

"Get out, get out!" A young waiter was pushing a teenager at the entrance of a buffet restaurant. "Hey, how can you do this? I paid for it. Why are you kicking me out?"

The young man stood firm, his hands on his hips, and looked at the young waiter. There was still a small amount of oil stain at the corner of his mouth, which was unbearable to look at. The young man did not care about the looks from others, and raised his hand to wipe the oil stain from his mouth.

The young waiter looked down at the boy condescendingly, then turned back to the restaurant, retrieved a piece of paper, and pointed at the contents. It was a sketch of a human face and a picture of a dog. "Ming Che and dogs are not allowed in!"

Then, right in front of Ming Che, he pressed himself against the glass door, clenching his fists and gritting his teeth. "How dare you bully customers like this!" Ming Che angrily glared at the young waiter in front of him and said in a dissatisfied tone, "You guys said unlimited, and now you're going back on your word."

Ming Che's words quickly drew the attention of those around him. "That's right! You guys said there was no limit on the quantity, yet you kicked the kids out!" "You're running a buffet restaurant and you're still kicking people out. You're a shady place."

More and more people began to speak up for Ming Che, moving him so much that his nose felt sore and his eyes reddened slightly. At this moment, the young waiter, who had been silent the whole time, raised his hand to signal for silence. "Everyone, please be patient. Our buffet restaurant is definitely not a scam."

"We won't chase any of our guests away." He paused mid-sentence, his peripheral vision catching sight of someone trying to take advantage of the situation and slipping away. The corners of his mouth curled up slightly. He said solemnly, "Everyone, please look! This is the plate left by the young man from earlier."

The young waiter turned sideways, directing everyone's attention to the first row of tables. Everyone was shocked by the mountains of plates piled up there. They didn't expect that a young boy who looked like he had barely grown all his hair could eat so much.

Feeling the sharp gazes from everyone, Ming Che smiled awkwardly, took out a black card from his pocket, and tossed it to the young waiter with a look of pain on his face. The young waiter smiled brightly after receiving the card and waved happily at Ming Che.

"Sir, welcome back next time!" Ming Che looked at the smiling young waiter, his teeth nearly breaking as he resisted the urge to punch him. He internally grumbled, "This guy definitely did it on purpose, absolutely!"

"You daredevil! Don't let me catch you, otherwise... I will strip you naked." Thinking of this, the smile on Ming Che's face became cunning. As he walked, he began to plan in his mind how to deal with the waiter.

"Beep, beep!" The dragon head-shaped watch rang with the sound of receiving a message. Ming Che looked down, his expression froze and then turned into anger. Ming Che roared frantically in his heart, "Ahhhhhh! This damn guy!"

The message read, "Thank you! Little brother Mingche sent the black card. Mmmmm." It also included a photo of him kissing the black card. Mingche's breathing began to quicken, the air around him distorted by the intense heat.

Two dragon horns sprouted from either side of his forehead, his eyes shrank into dragon pupils, his white teeth gradually became sharper, a small amount of black dragon scales grew on his fingers, and a black dragon tail as thick as an arm emerged from under his clothes. "Crack!"

A needle loaded with a powerful drug ejected from the watch and quickly pierced Mingche's arm. The next second, Mingche's vision began to blur, and as his eyes closed, his body fell forward. "Plop." Mingche fell to the ground, his body returning to normal.

"Report! 'Subject Zero' has lost control of his emotions and has been forced into sleep due to the provocation of the [Beast Tamer]. Should we evacuate the surrounding people?" A soldier wearing special combat uniform was standing on the rooftop not far from Ming Che.

He held a strange device in his hand. A model of Ming Che was displayed in the upper left corner, alongside numerous colorful bar graphs. Each bar graph had a string of data fluctuating slightly, with a unique icon underneath. It took a long time for a response to reach his ears. A deep voice boomed through the headset, "Launch the second part of the plan." "Yes!" the soldier received the command and immediately pressed a button on the device in his hand.

Suddenly, a notification popped up on the screen in front of them. "Beep! Restrictions lifted." Then, a soldier approached the unconscious Ming Che, carrying him up and following the instructions, leading him into the designated cave. As they entered the cave, without the soldier noticing, Ming Che frowned and moved his fingers slightly.

Meanwhile, in a secret office, a man in a suit, shrouded in shadows, tapped his fingers lightly on a wooden desk. In front of him was a large screen, displaying the changes in Ming Che's body before he collapsed.

"Hmm~ Are we about to start? I hope you won't let me down next time." A flash of white light flashed across the monocle in front of him as he finished speaking. "Ding Dong Ding!" The man's phone rang, and he picked up the call calmly.

"Hey... what? Say it again! The native void data anomaly is rapidly expanding!" The man suddenly stood up from his chair and punched the desk with all his might. With a loud bang, the solid wood desk shattered.

The man yelled at the person on the other end of the phone: "You! Do you know that the experiment I'm doing now is very important? If I interrupt it now, everything I've done will become nothing." The person on the other end of the phone hurriedly explained:

"Report! Boss, it's because a strange species has appeared in the skeleton that the empty data has increased sharply." After listening to his subordinate's report, the man scratched his hair in annoyance. Finally, he made up his mind and ordered:

"Tell everyone to take the test subject and all the data away." The man hung up the phone and quickly walked to the rooftop to take the helicopter away. "But! Boss, the test subject was teleported away through a spatial rift.

"Beep, beep, beep..." The only response he got was the busy tone from the phone. The man gritted his teeth and ordered his brothers, "Don't worry about the experimental subjects. Saving your life is the most important thing. Take all the data and leave quickly!" Then several helicopters took off one after another.

Several troop carriers on the ground lined up in a row and quickly left. Shortly after they left, "Boom!" The original void rapidly expanded with endless darkness and the power to tear apart space, and soon swallowed up everything around it, swallowing everything into the black hemisphere.

Looking at the growing hole in the helicopter, the man took a deep breath, his eyes filled with longing and hatred for the void. He turned and asked his female assistant, "How long will it take to reach the safe zone?"

The female assistant beside him turned the laptop in front of her to the man and answered: "At our current speed, it will take at least another hour to reach a safe area." After saying this, she held her eyes on the bridge of her nose with her hand.

After hearing this, the man rubbed his brows and said in a dissatisfied tone: "This is the third time this month. The first time was destroyed by the defense forces, the second time was when the experimental subject got out of control, and this time..." At this point, the expression on the man's face had become so dark that water could drip out.

Seeing this, the female assistant straightened her laptop and continued working with both hands on the keyboard. The two of them fell into silence, neither interrupting the other. And so, accompanied by the shrill roar of the helicopter.

This scene continued until the helicopter landed in a safe area, at which point it was broken.
