Chapter 664 This is exciting!

"This is the Louvre, the foremost of the world's four major museums?"

That evening, Aaron arrived at the set of "Phantom of the Louvre," where Sophie Marceau was filming, which was inside the Louvre Museum.

The world's four major museums are the Louvre Museum in France, the British Museum in the United Kingdom, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the United States, and the Hermitage Museum in Russia. They are all comprehensive museums that integrate archaeological artifacts and works of art. Their collections cover ancient Egyptian and Near Eastern, Greek, Roman and Byzantine, Renaissance art and Oriental art represented by China and India, and their exhibition scale is enormous!
Sophie Marceau nodded. "The area we're in is mainly the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities. The film crew comes in to shoot after the museum closes at night."

Aaron had just passed by the Department of Oriental Antiques and sighed, "Robbing is still the fastest way!"

The Louvre Museum boasts a vast collection of historical artifacts dating from 7000 BC to the mid-19th century.
In 1991, UNESCO even designated the Seine River waterfront in Paris, including the Louvre, as a "World Heritage Site".

Sophie Marceau smiled. "How about we go explore somewhere else? There aren't many people around at night."

Aaron put his arm around the woman. "Now I understand the filming process in France, based on the shooting schedule of your film."

"The scenes inside the Louvre will probably take three months to film, right?"

The French are so relaxed. Aaron's visit to the set lasted only a few hours, and it felt like the crew wasn't doing anything productive!
Sophie Marceau kissed the man and said, "You have to know how to enjoy life while working. The pace in Hollywood is just a bit too fast."

Compared to Hollywood, Sophie Marceau prefers filming in the UK, where she has more time to rest!
Soon, Aaron and Sophie Marceau arrived at her private dressing room. "Luc Besson was on set a few days ago, wasn't he?"

Sophie Marceau shrugged. "He's been here. He was very surprised that the film crew was able to shoot inside the Louvre!"

"What about you? You've been in France for quite a while now. The European Championship between the Netherlands and Belgium has started, aren't you going to go check it out?"

Aaron shook his head, pulled Sophie Marceau to sit in his lap, and said, "We'll see. I met with Hermès' shareholders these past few days, and they don't seem to have a strong need for funds."

"It dashed my hopes of acquiring Hermès."

"Really?" Sophie Marceau leaned down and kissed Aaron. "Over in Hollywood, Dawn's films are doing very well!"

Aaron reached into Sophie Marceau's arms, feeling her softness. "Ah, the summer movie season is always the battlefield of dawn."

“Mmm,” Sophie Marceau hugged the man tighter, “I still have scenes to film later. Let’s do whatever we want tonight after I finish work. Tomorrow is the weekend.”

Aaron leaned close to Sophie Marceau's ear and blew a breath, "Darling, we're inside the Louvre right now!"

Sophie Marceau smiled, pulled Aaron up from the sofa, and led him directly to the dressing room next door, where they embraced and kissed passionately.

A moment later, Sophie Marceau knelt down and unzipped the man's pants!

“Phew,” Aaron leaned against the wall, reaching out to stroke Sophie Marceau’s long chestnut hair…

随着《木乃伊2》上映10天累积票房达到1.2亿美元,早上映半个月的《碟中谍2》票房已经1.75亿美元了!    但是,《木乃伊2》的口碑对于环球接下来推出续集却是产生了矛盾:

The Chicago Sun-Times: "The beauty of action movies is that too much action can actually make them boring."

"The Mummy 2's mistake was abandoning character development and treating the plot merely as a clothesline for special effects and action scenes. If it weren't for relying on the 1998 original The Mummy, this sequel wouldn't even have a plot."

The Los Angeles Times: "In The Mummy 2, we can easily feel a much stronger sense of money than in its predecessor, The Mummy, with its lavish sets, grand scale, and overwhelming army of scorpions."

"However, what we feel more strongly about The Mummy 2 is the forced story, the lack of tension, and the formulaic character development. The male and female protagonists and the two emotional storylines of the 'mummy couple' that were not given much attention in the first film are completely unremarkable in The Mummy 2!"

The Hollywood Reporter: "Generally speaking, sequels to blockbuster movies are often disappointing. It's one thing if the acting and special effects don't improve, but more importantly, the story often feels superfluous and doesn't make sense."

"Fortunately, audiences will not be too disappointed after watching The Mummy 2."

Shortly after The Mummy was released in 1998, Universal notified director Stephen Sommers to begin developing a sequel.

Given the circumstances surrounding The Mummy 2, it's clearly not appropriate to develop The Mummy 3 directly.

However, Dwayne Johnson, the wrestler who made a cameo appearance as Scorpion King in The Mummy 2, seems to have received some attention.

While still in Europe, Aaron has asked Universal to prepare a spin-off of "The Mummy" starring the Scorpion King, and invited Dwayne Johnson to play the male lead!

Meanwhile, DreamWorks' Aardman Studios claymation film "Chicken Run" was released, grossing $1700 million in its opening weekend, which is quite good for a film with a budget of only $4500 million.

Moreover, Chicken Run has received very good reviews and ratings.

The San Francisco Chronicle: "Chicken Run's plot is clearly influenced by the 1960s war film The Great Escape, with even the main characters and scenes being directly referenced. The film's lively and vivid animated characters, suspenseful and hilarious plot, innovative filming techniques, and unconventional presentation provide audiences with a unique cinematic experience!"

The Hollywood Reporter: "Chicken Run is a very clever animated film; the scenes of the chicks repeatedly trying to escape and failing are hilarious."

"The charm of this film lies in the fact that it caters to children's tastes, attracts adults, and also provides people with a lot of inspiration."

The Washington Post: "While clay animation can't be as realistic as regular animation, Chicken Run has its own unique features. The plot is thrilling and humorous, and the theme is positive, conveying the importance of courage, friendship, and unity throughout!"

"Chicken Run" showcases the unique charm of this traditional animation form and can be considered a benchmark work of clay animation;

Although the plot lacks some depth and the pacing is a bit fast at the beginning and slow at the end, it is definitely an excellent animated feature film.
