Hughes and Zoe stared in disbelief. After a moment, Hughes suddenly turned to look at Zoe.

He and Hunter had originally planned to sneak out of the military camp together to go to the front lines.

The expeditionary force didn't keep a close watch on Hunter, mainly because he had even donated his family, so he didn't seem like the type to run away. Although Hunter was very interested in the front lines, he wasn't stupid. Grisha, no matter how much war he had experienced, was still just a child. Nora sighed, said nothing more, and turned to Grisha: "Grisha, this is the first time I've seen you since I left the expeditionary force. How are you doing with Gwen?"

Her gaze fell on Grisha's steel prosthetic limbs.

"Very good. Everyone in the resistance is very kind to me. Sister Gwen takes good care of me. She once made me a pair of prosthetic legs, but unfortunately I lost them."
