Chapter 321, Section 11: Gul'dan's Disciple Deserves a Gul'dan-esque Ending
Zulushid's posturing angered Garrosh.
Or rather, as the warchief of the Mag'har orcs, Garrosh had made "driving out the greenskins and washing away the shame" his life goal, and he had enough reason to do so. Therefore, Garrosh became one of the most radical leaders in the Draenor faction on the issue of the greenskin orcs.
The moment Garrosh charged into Azura's Tower, his "headshot instinct" as a member of the Hellscream family was already itching to go. Seeing that the warlock was still babbling on, the young Garrosh ignored him and swung his axe at him.
For those who seek to uphold justice, such actions are perhaps a bit too brutal.
But for warriors on the battlefield who only seek victory, nothing could be a better "declaration of war" than Garrosh's axe.
Almost no further comment was needed; the spellcasters who had been dragged into this nightmare land by Zul'Hildra immediately transformed into "turret spellcasters" and began a relentless bombardment.
"We'll hold off these nightmare monsters!"
Khadgar unleashed a massive, astonishing arcane barrage, turning back amidst the deafening roar and shouting:
"You two! If you want the Guardian's Staff, you'll have to do something worthy of it, like taking his head."
"Hmph, that's to be expected."
As the four divine runes floating on Margok's shoulder flickered, they delivered him to Zul'shid's side. The holy sword of Goria in his hand slashed fiercely, creating a seismic wave that felled the demon lord guarding Zul'shid to the ground.
With each strike, the arcane monsters, threatening to swarm forward, unleashed a series of explosions that sent the guarding demons screaming in agony.
Kael'thas is no less impressive.
Although this somewhat effeminate blond prince looks like a powerful spellcaster, as a descendant of Dath'Remar Sunstrider, he not only knows, but is also highly proficient in, his family's Phoenix Sword Technique.
Although he didn't bring his family's holy sword this time, with his magical prowess at Kael'thas's level, the power enhancement from weapons was truly negligible. He reached out and took the longsword handed to him by his valiant fiancée, Lanathel. The moment he drew the sword, scorching flames ignited on the blade.
He also blinked and arrived next to Zul'hild, slashing down with his sword. The sword was blocked by the Dream Shield, but the flames that erupted afterward seemed to come alive and gathered into a scorching phoenix that kept crashing against the energy that rippled like water.
While wielding his sword, Kael'thas also cast spells with his other hand, gathering massive arcane energy that spread from Kael'thas's center throughout the Nightmare Realm.
"World, turn it upside down."
Amidst the fluttering golden hair, the perfect prince uttered a soft phrase, like some kind of trendy "Bankai" release phrase.
This spell's effect is indeed quite stylish.
The next instant, everyone present immediately felt the earth's restraint completely disappear, and in this area of arcane gravity simulation, all creatures marked as enemies by Kael'thas would have their senses disrupted, even nightmare creatures.
Luo Ning witnessed a nightmare lizard bite down on him, just inches away.
He was amazed by Kael'thas's magical prowess, and then mercilessly swung his Dragonscale Sword to slay the vile creature.
"What amazing magic!"
A look of predatory delight flashed in the eyes of the leader of the Margok family.
As a fellow genius in the field of arcane magic, it instantly analyzed how Kael'thas's gravitational field worked. With a desire to try it out, it mobilized four divinely forged runes as energy release points. As the arcane enhancement reverberated, the people who were flying around in the air and killing enemies felt an even heavier gravitational force being applied, causing them to crash to the ground one after another.
"asshole!"
Paladin Finna Golden Sword, who nearly fell flat on her face, screamed:
"Now is not the time for you to try out new magic!"
"Yeah, you bastards, you two are being way too arrogant! Is this the time for you to exchange spellcasting tips?"
Zulushid was also angered by those two bastards.
damn it.
This is a life-or-death battle! You fatso, how dare you steal the elves' magic? Do you even understand it? Fine, I'll learn it!
You're really giving me too much credit!
"die!"
Zul'jid grabbed the Uthalus Warscythe and slashed it down at the ogre chieftain amidst the chilling winds. The super-magical technique, Fortify, was immediately released, and thick arcane energy gathered into a heavy wall in front of the ogre chieftain.
It thought this would be enough to withstand the archmage's attack, but the next second the strong rune was shattered by Zul'jid's fel scythe.
Do you really think I've gained nothing in this world?
With a deep, eerie roar, a massive wave of Shadow Fury crashed down, knocking everyone on the battlefield into a temporary daze. The Dragon Soul then roared, and the dark green "Dragon King Cannon" instantly engulfed Margok, causing the ogre leader to let out a bloodcurdling scream.
However, it has a lot of blood and won't die anytime soon.
Zul'Gurub grinned as he flipped the Dragon Soul, sweeping the green Dragon King Cannon across like a lightsaber. Fortunately, Kael'thas anticipated this and reactivated the gravity field, sending them into the air and saving them from this "wipe-out" attack.
Seeing how troublesome this guy was, the faculty and staff of the High Elf Magic Academy exchanged glances, realizing they might not be able to keep a low profile any longer.
This great sorcerer wields two such powerful divine weapons, and with the Dragon King's power completely under his control, he could easily be in serious trouble.
"on!"
A female elite mentor dropped her disguise, stepping forward with two wands and striking from both sides, as if two people were casting spells simultaneously, instantly creating a barrage of firepower. Her companion on the ground skillfully threw out a nine-layered nested arcane rune ritual, fully enhancing the protective magic through a group spell.
Another male elf shrugged, opened the book bag on his back, and let the ancient magic books fly out like "butterflies," swirling around him.
Turning the page at random, a huge blue dragon phantom sketched on it is summoned to the battlefield, and a breath of winter clears out the mobs. Turning to the second page, another sketch of Dean Blue Moon is activated.
The dean's phantom even humanizedly adjusted his glasses before glaring at Zulushid and shouting:
"Terrible student! Disrupting class! I'm giving you double the homework!"
"boom"
Several grimoires exploded simultaneously, and the converging beams of light, under the command of the Dean's illusion, collided with Zul'hild's shield one after another, instantly piercing three cracks in his dream shield to the archmage's astonished gaze.
"Who are they?!"
Zulushid was startled.
These guys look ordinary, but how come they each have unique skills?
Ugh, these young people spent all that time showing off and only managed to take down a third of my shield, but you three old guys just shattered it with a single move! You should have told me you were this good, otherwise why would I be stuck here holding on?
"The Third Academic Affairs Team of the General Classes at Nassaras Magic Academy, reporting for duty!"
The three upper-level elf faculty members said in unison:
“We’re here on a business trip, and we’re pressed for time. So, could you please step aside, you green-skinned sorcerer who’s afflicted with the Seed of Corruption and is on the verge of death even if we don’t kill you? Let us in to find the real ‘important person.’”
"Huh? You're here for her?"
The great sorcerer grinned, which, combined with his ghostly face, made him look terrifying.
He shrugged, waved his hand to sever the flow of magic around him with the magic scythe, creating a temporary spell ban. Then, he used Dragon Soul again to target the three damned Highborne elves, fired the Dragon King Cannon again, and quietly repaired his shattered shield.
The family knows their own affairs.
Zul'hild knew very well that whether he could save his life depended entirely on how strong the shield was. Neither the Dragon Soul nor the Scythe of Uthalus were artifacts willing to share their power, and his own strength was really not enough against these elite troops.
To sum it up: as long as the shield is there, you're there; if the shield breaks, you die.
However, outside this nightmare realm he had created using Eranikus's purifying crystal, another group rushed into Azura's Tower at the same time.
"bang"
The raging black dragon princess smashed through the top section of the mage tower with a single claw, tearing open a gap. She then transformed into human form and landed inside. Her armor, crafted from the scales of her dragon form, was now tattered and torn, clearly indicating she had been through a fierce battle. The other four dragons were in the same condition.
They were a little embarrassed, but they still managed to win despite being outnumbered by at least three times.
"The power of the Star Soul Lord is truly formidable! It's far more powerful than what the stingy Titan gave us."
Chromie wiped the blood off his staff. This bronze dragon, who usually only fought against the Eternal Dragon, had also released some pressure today.
She thinks that going out for a group fight is a great and exciting activity, and she'll organize one whenever she has more work pressure in the future.
Why is nobody here?
Rheastarsah, in her goblin form, looked left and right, and said to the others with a puzzled expression:
"I can sense they're here, but..."
"Dreams are layered, and only by mastering their essence can one so easily tear open deeper areas within a dream. Zulushid pulled the human warriors into a deeper layer of dreams in order to gain a terrain advantage."
This crystal is the core!
Mylinsela's understanding of dreams was absolutely professional. She immediately found the seemingly inconspicuous dream crystal and recognized it as the "love letter" her mother had given to her father years ago.
For ten thousand years, this essence crystal, which was not actually very powerful, was not only carefully preserved by my father, but he also nurtured it to the level of a divine artifact with his own power.
Ugh.
Princess Green Dragon was heartbroken. She stroked the crystal and whispered:
"My mother and father were truly in love, but fate played a cruel trick on them."
"Stop lamenting now, just release them!"
Onyxia was clearly still not satisfied with her fight. She rubbed her hands together and said, "The Dragon Soul is ineffective against us. I'm about to give Zul'Farrak a good beating. Although I don't aspire to be some foolish guardian of Tirisfal, having such an artifact in my dragon treasury would certainly enhance its prestige."
"I advise you to calm down!"
Teregosa looked left and right, and said suspiciously:
"After entering this dream, I've always felt that something is not right. I feel like we've missed something. Wait, have you heard the roars of other dragons on the other side of this dream valley?"
"Look! It's a black dragon!"
Chromie, who had rushed to the window, jumped onto the table, pushed open the window, glanced outside, and immediately turned back to shout to the others:
"Onyxia, she's your relative, a purebred black dragon! They're besieging Kalecgos and Kel'Thuzad right now, and that idiot Little Star got dragged into it too. What bad luck she has!"
"They came to confirm that the Dragon Soul has been destroyed. With this thing around, the Red Dragon Legion and the Blue Dragon Legion don't dare to launch a large-scale attack. For them, whether humanity wins today is not important; the destruction of that evil artifact is the most important thing."
As for the "black dragon"
Onyxia narrowed her eyes, glanced around the window, and said with a cold smile:
"Hiram, Naris, those were my brother's lieutenants, and the three powerful young dragons, Fellmer, Ebonock, and Flagel, were the unfilial children hatched by my brother's lovers."
Ah, my sinister and evil brother must be hiding here, and his target is also the Dragon Soul.
It seems that nothing that is happening in the Storm Kingdom can be kept from my father.
Let me think about it.
Princess Black Dragon turned to Mylinsera and said:
"Release them later, manipulate the dream crystal to tear this place apart, establish contact with the outside world, and make the Watchers our allies. The three of you go and help, temporarily hold off those black dragons but don't kill them."
I'm lying in ambush here for my brother.
"What on earth are you planning to do?"
Rheastas was a little uneasy, and she whispered:
"Are you going to eat it?"
"I only eat indiscriminately when I'm in a state of uncontrollable madness! Damn it, I'm not a pica person, and I don't have the habit of devouring my own kind."
Onyxia wiggled her fingers, squinted her eyes, and said:
“I am different from you. I do not serve the Star Soul Lord, but am the ‘Beast Lord’ of the Lightforged Chapter. I must find a way to build an army for myself. My current state is the path of redemption that the Vigilant is searching for for the Black Dragon.”
I can't just let my black dragon receive Lightforged's 'healing'.
Hmph, Father always says my brother is ten times more talented than me. I'll show him who's the better one among his children!
I want to capture Nefarian alive, and if I could, I'd be happy to lightforge him myself!
The other four large female dragons exchanged glances. Chromie shrugged and said:
"Let's do as she says, otherwise she'll fight us first."
Sigh, after this battle, Rhea and I will need to get some 'cosmetic surgery' done by the Vigilantes. The Guardian Dragon form looks good, but it's too disadvantageous in melee combat. It's a creation of Titan power, not really suitable for receiving the power of the world."
"I've already chosen the template."
The goblin red dragon grinned, then leaped out of the window, spread its wings, and soared towards the end of the valley. Chromie followed closely behind, while Teregosa rushed into the dream's high sky and began to unleash icy energy to control the field.
Despite the evil energy emanating from the dream crystal, Mylinsera silently invoked the power of the Star Soul Lord, then brutally tore the rift between the dream and reality from within.
When the dreamland surrounding Azura's Tower began to tremble, Diakum on the outer battlefield immediately sensed the shaking of the dreamland and the aura of the black dragon emanating from it.
"Where did this black dragon come from? Is this Deathwing trying to reclaim his artifact? It's not pretty, but it's got some big ambitions!"
The Vigilant immediately realized the purpose of the black dragons' arrival, and in the form of a Crystal Naaru, he issued a decree to the Tower of Azura, which was returning to the material world.
"I command the Holy Light to judge the evil spirits of this place!"
The Warlord of Light unleashed his war powers, instantly engulfing an entire area in scorching beams of light. Then, the first radiant strike transformed into a blazing sun, pulling the undead of the Dreamlands into the intense light in an instant, turning them to dust.
"No! No!"
Zul'hild also sensed the reconnection between the dreamland and the material world, and the great warlock instantly realized that disaster was imminent.
He unleashed the power of the dragon soul, forcing back the people who were constantly attacking him. When he realized that the divine power of the Vigilant was about to strike, Zul'hild made a desperate move and used the power of the Dragon King to shatter the nightmare land in front of him, throwing everyone in it into the nightmares that they had been drawn into.
This is an advanced technique of dream power that the Polluter taught him!
He's going to run away.
"Aiska! Are you done yet?"
The great sorcerer called out to his trusted apprentice, but unsurprisingly, there was no response.
Aiskar's silence plunged Zul'jid's heart into despair, and to make matters worse, the continuous Holy Light attacks had already made this hiding place teeter on the brink of collapse.
The war powers of the Highlord of Light are directly connected to the Force of Light. After Diakum issued the judgment order, a barrage of light as scorching as sunlight rained down, shattering the Tower of Azura into pieces in a short time.
Zulushid felt as if he had fallen into the apocalypse of the Light Burial.
All he could see were scorching streaks of light crashing onto the earth, much like a scene of war with thousands of cannons firing simultaneously. Demons, undead, and nightmares, these negative energy creatures, would be incinerated upon contact with the "sun bombardment." Fortunately, he still had a dream shield to hold on for a while.
But just as Zul'hild was about to forcibly tear open a portal to escape the distorted void, a familiar war cry came from behind him again.
Hellscream's family of idiots!
Zul'Gurub turned around and watched Garrosh fall from the light, wielding his battle axe and striking his dream shield.
He mocked:
"You fucking tried to cut me once before! I was completely unharmed. You're just like your stupid, good-for-nothing father, you have absolutely no brains!"
Garrosh did not respond to the foul language, but simply pressed his arm down even further.
It was only then that Zul'hild realized that the Warsong brat was holding a solar-powered battle axe?!
"I will lead the sun bombardment! Embrace the glory of battle!!!"
Garrosh's roar echoed across the land bombarded by holy light, and Diakum, the humanoid naaru, also sensed at that moment that the Solar Axe had opened a precise "bombardment coordinate" for him.
The vigilant waved his hand in the air, without using any weapon, and gently swung it downwards, turning light into a sword.
Holy Light Breaker, Unleash Your Power!
Thus, with his mind blank, Zul'hild could only watch helplessly as the crystalline blade of the solar-powered battle axe that had slashed into the shield gathered light before him. That light was all too familiar to him, and that power made him tremble incessantly.
It wasn't until the Holy Light Destroyer's sword strike easily shattered the dream shield with overwhelming force, and then the blazing light blasted him, tearing apart most of the dream, that Zulushid realized what had happened in that instant.
He melted into the light.
Even with Alexstrasza's life fire locking him in, none of that matters when his body is burned to ashes.
The golden dragon soul was lifted with difficulty, trying to drag Garrosh down with it, but the next second it was chopped down by the young hero's axe, the artifact flying out along with its burning arm.
The object was grabbed by a man in black who suddenly appeared as it landed, and then turned and ran without hesitation.
The light before Zulushid's eyes went out.
He was only half a body left, and he was coughing.
Death finally came, so far yet so near. He was exhausted. He looked at Garrosh, who had withstood a sun blast head-on but stubbornly refused to fall.
He stammered as he spoke:
"Foolish fool! You won't survive even if I die. Truly a descendant of Grom."
Just then, Jorin Deadeye struggled to crawl out of his own nightmare. No one knows what he encountered inside, but the young Mag'har warlock lost a leg.
He crawled out right near Zul'shid's mangled body, so Yorin grabbed the youthful version of Gul'dan's skull from his waist and drank its magic power, then reached out and placed it on Zul'shid's hideous, demonic head.
"You are Gul'dan's disciple."
Jolin said in a hoarse voice:
"You should die the same way that bastard did! You like fel energy? Fine! I'll give you fel energy!"
The Mag'har warlock poured a steady stream of fel energy into Zul'hild's head, causing the dog warlock to howl in pain. Every crack beneath his carbonized skin reflected the magma-like fel energy fire, until finally, in the final moments, he was incinerated into ashes by the fel energy as his flesh tore apart.
Seeing this, Garrosh finally felt relieved. His whole body was wrapped in high temperature and he was almost roasted. He tremblingly gave Yorin a thumbs up, and then slammed to the ground with a thud.
The young "fish-frying brothers" got a pretty good "kill" in a rather dishonorable way, but how to put it...
"Hmph, you two didn't disgrace Maghar."
A moment later, a disheveled Griselda dragged the dark hand out of her nightmare. Looking at the collapsing greenskins around her, she let out a hoarse laugh, plopped down next to Yorin and Garrosh, and fell asleep.
They won.
Mag'har used his own hands to win back a shred of dignity for the orcs.
