Chapter 480 Please enter the urn
"Compound Five, the mayor of Baltimore, and they have an organization. I fucking knew it, I fucking knew it! Superman, that bastard, really has some shady secrets! He can see through zinc! And he can hear people through walls!"

The Invisible Man followed Ma Zhaodi with shining eyes. He dared not make any rash moves to eavesdrop on the meeting of the Vought's top management in the Vought Building. At this moment, he was actually glad that, with the help of Superman's X-ray vision and super hearing, he was able to catch a glimpse of the tip of the iceberg of the Vought behemoth hidden underwater.

What's even more interesting is that Superman and Ma Zhaodi seem to be quite extraordinary as well. There's some unknown force behind them that allows them to control a superhuman like Superman to infiltrate Vought International.

Imagining the thrilling game of strategy and intrigue, the Invisible Man felt a sense of exhilaration that surpassed that of Walter and Superman.

"What kind of mysterious force is this? I caught them red-handed with ease."

Although he was incredibly excited, the Invisible Man still retained a sliver of rationality. He's always been a bit shrewd; he was like that when he was tracking Superman, and he was doing the same thing now when he took out his phone to message Homelander of the Seven.

Why send it to Homelander? Because anyone can see that he doesn't really like Superman. If he had the chance to kick Superman out of the Seven, he would probably be very happy—he would never miss any opportunity to cause trouble for Superman.

He didn't send out too many messages because he didn't have much intelligence at the moment. He wanted to see for himself what the so-called mysterious organization was, and he also wanted to figure out what the so-called "Compound Five" was. He wanted to find out the dark little secrets of both Vought and Superman at the same time.

So he just briefly mentioned in the message that he had arrived at XX bar and found Superman drinking with his good friend. He had already left the bar and was walking down XX street to go to XX location.

Of course, this location is currently vacant.

Homelander was naturally puzzled by this message, since the Invisible Man wasn't exactly his best friend, and it was strange that he would receive such a report on his whereabouts.

But he wasn't stupid. This matter involved Superman. If the Invisible Man suddenly disappeared, he could deduce clues about how to save him from this message. This was the Invisible Man's backup plan. If he was captured, he just needed to hold out until Homelander came to rescue him.

Coincidentally, the Invisible Man was also quite confident in his defensive capabilities.

The two walked for a while. Ma Zhaodi, who was ahead, kept walking. His pace was neither fast nor slow. He did not take a taxi or use any other means of transportation. He walked to the destination.

This made it quite easy for the invisible man to follow behind.

Something's not right. Have we been discovered?

The invisible man felt inexplicably uneasy: "Why is this guy walking so slowly, and we haven't even arrived yet? It's like he's deliberately trying to make me keep up with him?"

"But he's clearly just an ordinary person with no superpowers, so how did he sense me?"

While he was filled with doubt and uncertainty, Ma Zhaodi finally stopped and knocked on the door of a house.

But no one responded.

"A mysterious organization...doesn't even turn on the lights?"

The invisible man looked up and surveyed the house, which was situated between two rows of buildings and looked quite inconspicuous. It was already night, and no light shone from inside the house, making it seem as if no one was there.

But Ma Zhaodi didn't care; he continued to knock on the door slowly and deliberately.

Just then, a car pulled up on the street, carrying a familiar, burly figure—it was Butcher, who had just returned from the bar. "Huh? That's... Ma Zhaodi? How did that bastard manage to get to my safe house?"

The butcher frowned, his hand instinctively moving to his waist, ready to draw his gun at any moment. His eyes darted around, his sharp gaze sweeping across the entire street—the safe house was a vital location for people like him, a lifeline. Ma Zhaodi's abrupt arrival made him feel a strong sense of crisis.

If he had arrived any later with the people from the Water Company, he would have been trapped inside the house and would have had to try to break out through the back door via the secret passage.

He wanted to drive away immediately, but he didn't know how Ma Zhaodi had found his safe house, and there didn't seem to be any Walter ambushes on the street. If he left today, there was no guarantee that Ma Zhaodi wouldn't chase him to his next safe house.

After a moment's thought, the butcher still parked the car on the side of the road.

"Hey, you bastard, what are you trying to do, chasing me all the way here? Want me to shoot you?"

Hearing his voice, Ma Zhaodi turned around from the doorway and came to the roadside, revealing a sinister smile to the butcher: "Although I experienced your temper last time, I still feel angry when I hear you speak again—I told you my name is Ma Zhaodi, not bastard, don't you remember? Do you want your arm broken again?"

Upon hearing this, the butcher unconsciously twisted his arm and cursed under his breath.

"Listen, you bastard, I don't care how the hell you found my safe house, but I'm warning you, if you do this again, I'll kill you before I kill Vought Corporation, get it?"

“If it weren’t for something, I wouldn’t have come directly to you.” Ma Zhaodi shrugged. “It’s not a good place to talk. Shall we go inside?”

"I don't want to—"

"It's about the Water Company."

The butcher hesitated for a second.

"What? Your friend still hasn't seen through your true colors? And he even told you about Vought International?" he mocked. "Even a superhuman with X-ray vision couldn't see through someone like you, could he?"

"Stop talking nonsense, do you want to listen or not?"

The conversation between the two reached the ears of the invisible man standing nearby without any reservation. He couldn't help but lick his lips, take a few steps closer, and scrutinize the butcher's face.

"Tsk tsk tsk, that fierce look, that foul language, that sneaky way of doing things. Interesting, the members of this organization all seem to have quite a few personalities."

But regardless, he did hear the Butcher say "Kill Vought," so the Invisible Man no longer doubted what Ma Zhaodi had said. He secretly retreated to the side of the house, and where neither of them could see, he entered the location of the safe house into the text message and sent it to Homelander.

It wasn't that they were afraid of Ma Zhaodi, an ordinary person; the main reason was to prevent others in the organization from joining. An organization that dared to oppose Vought International couldn't possibly be without superpowered individuals.

He watched as the butcher drove the car into the garage, then quickly followed him and slipped into the room.

As the garage door slowly closed, Ma Zhaodi couldn't help but smile.
