Starting from scratch, Batman crushed my dream of getting rich

Chapter 436 Nothing is a coincidence
After the two Barries reached an agreement, the rest went smoothly. The Barry from the other universe transformed into a bolt of lightning and hid, watching as the Barry from this universe and Henry picked up Nora and took her to the airport. Although Nora Allen was skeptical of everything Henry said, it only strengthened her resolve to go to Central City.
Moreover, she felt a strange sense of familiarity with Barry in front of her. Her intuition told her that her husband and son were real and that they would not harm her.
Ma Zhaodi watched the three board the plane prepared by Bruce—he had indeed made very thorough arrangements for the people he brought, at least giving them a grand welcome, though this could simply be because the Wayne family was wealthy and powerful.
"And you?" Ma Zhaodi turned to ask Barry from the other universe, who was staring at the plane in the sky, his thoughts unreadable. "Is there anything else you need to do here?"
“Me?” Barry shook his head. “To be honest, no. Actually, there are still people waiting for me on the other side. There are still many super-powered criminals in Central City. Cisco and Caitlin alone probably can’t handle it.”
"He's still the Flash after all." Ma Zhaodi patted Barry on the shoulder. "Will you be able to find me again next time?"
“It wouldn’t be easy to leave no trace,” Barry answered honestly. “Besides, your universe seems to be quite far from mine. I don’t know if I can retrace the route back to find you. Speaking of which, how were you able to use my Speed Force to return to this universe? I don’t remember ever giving you my Speed Force—”
“Ah, don’t worry about that, Barry.” As soon as Barry asked about the origin of his Speed Force, Ma Zhaodi immediately changed the subject: “I can travel back and forth between your universe and mine again. After a while, I will just bring you back.”
"You can locate my universe?" Barry breathed a sigh of relief. "Well, you've been there long enough. I was thinking I might have to stay here for a while to determine the coordinates of this universe on the Speed Force spacetime scale."
"It's best not to remember the coordinates." Ma Zhaodi shook his head. "Are you sure everything's alright? If everything's fine, I'll take you back."
"How should it be delivered? I need to cooperate—"
Swish!
As Ma Zhaodi patted Barry on the shoulder, Barry's figure vanished from the spot.
"I hope everyone is okay."
With that thought in mind, Ma Zhaodi wandered the streets of Gotham City. He didn't usually like going out, so he rarely wandered around like this. Now that he had just finished dealing with a few troublesome matters, he felt relaxed and began to stroll on the street.
As they slowly walked to the Gotham Police Department, Chief Gordon seemed less overwhelmed than before, and his mental state appeared much better. However, the files on his desk were still piled high, and he still didn't like Ma Zhaodi coming into the police station to see him. Upon seeing him for the first time, he immediately had him dragged outside the police station.
"Go away, don't go into the police station. Things are just getting better here, we can't afford any more trouble."
Ma Zhaodi pursed his lips and turned to go to the local prosecutor's office to see Prosecutor Harvey.
"Old Ma came to see me? Oh."
Harvey Dent seemed to be in a workaholic state at this time. When Ma Zhaodi went to see him, he was so engrossed in working at his desk that he didn't even lift his head.
After that, no matter what Ma Zhaodi said, his response was always something like "uh-huh" or "oh," and it rarely exceeded three words.
"This friend is so perfunctory!"
Ma Zhaodi went to find Bruce indignantly, only to be told that Bruce was not there.
“Young Master Wayne has probably gone to the cemetery.” The old butler, Alfred, gently patted Ma Zhaodi on the shoulder. “After finally having some free time, he moved the graves of Master Thomas and Mrs. Martha there, and even planted two trees himself by the woods next to the cemetery.”
“I’ll go take a look.” Ma Zhaodi left the snacks he had made for Alfred, and then walked to Gotham Cemetery.
Don't ask why Gordon and Harvey didn't have any snacks—Ma Zhaodi had prepared some for them, but after seeing the two of them, he only had one thought in his mind.
"You two are still having snacks, you two ungrateful bastards, you're wasting 478 yuan."
When Ma Zhaodi arrived at the cemetery, Bruce was standing in a grove of trees mourning—a grove of saplings.
He stared blankly at the grove. Back when he and the children planted trees, it was just a small place of mourning, with tombstones in the adjacent cemetery and trees planted outside in the dense woods. Now, after mourning at the tombstones, people seem more accustomed to coming to the grove to look at the tree they planted for the deceased.
“It seems the cemetery has hired a group of people specifically to look after this sapling grove by the woods.” A young man’s voice rang out beside Ma Zhaodi. “I heard from that person that the cemetery originally planned to expand and include these saplings, but most people objected. They said, let these saplings grow, frame them up like landscape plants.”
Ma Zhaodi turned his head and shook hands with the man next to him. The man was tall and handsome, and his build was almost as big as Bruce's.
Not bad, Ma Zhaodi thought to himself, this guy is only slightly less handsome than me.
"You're from Gotham too? I've never seen you before."
“I’m not from Gotham. I just heard the story of this forest, so I came here to plant some trees.”
"No wonder there are so many saplings here. It turns out it's not just Gothamites who plant them—when I planted them, there were only a dozen or so here."
"When it comes to remembering the deceased, everyone's feelings are probably similar."
The man pointed to the lush grove of trees: "There are probably several hundred trees here, and they are growing very well. Every time people see the tree that represents the person they are mourning growing so vigorously, they feel a little comforted."
"Who knows?" Ma Zhaodi turned to look at Bruce in the woods. "Anyway, his expression was quite calm, which is good. Less need for a dramatic, bitter look."
“It’s said that there was a tree planter here first,” the man next to him added. “I really want to meet him. It’s said that he was the one who brought the children here to plant trees first. Back then, there were hundreds of gangsters here—I admire him a lot.”
Ma Zhaodi was almost embarrassed by all the flattery he received.
“Everyone’s a tree planter now,” he replied. “You don’t necessarily have to look for the very first one—by the way, how many trees have you planted?”
"Not many, maybe a dozen or so."
Ma Zhaodi immediately showed respect, and extended his hand to shake hands with the man: "I am Ma Zhaodi, a Gothamite. May I ask your name?"
"Ah, my name is Clark."
The man smiled and replied, "Clark Kent."
