At this moment, Hou Tu's voice rang out again, "Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, if you want to maintain this pure land, you must use your merits to block the evil wind."

"The way to gain merit is to constantly preach the scriptures and convert evil spirits. As long as evil spirits are converted, you can gain merit."

Without even bothering to plead with Hou Tu, he immediately began to preach the sutra. This was to save the evil spirits in the eighteen levels of hell and thereby gain merit. "This time, he, Ksitigarbha, will have to preach the sutras day and night without stopping. I'm afraid he won't even get half of the merit he gains."
