Orochius sneered, "Arrogant? Mortal, you seem to have forgotten who you are facing. I am a demon god, an enforcer under the Asura God. Do you have the right to judge my attitude?"

His words carried an air of condescending indifference, as if Leosley were nothing more than an ant. His gaze was like a sharp blade, piercing Leosley's soul, trying to see fear or wavering in his eyes.

However, Leosley's expression remained calm, even carrying a hint of mockery.

"Mortal, you are seeking death!"

Even though he treats humans better than soul beasts, he is essentially used to being a high and mighty god, and he can't stand being ridiculed by mortals.

Orochius's roar echoed across the far north, surrounded by a murky, dark aura, like a demon descended upon the mortal world. His figure stood out starkly against the wind and snow, his black armor gleaming coldly in the moonlight.

Leosley frowned slightly, a hint of inquiry and wariness flashing in his eyes.

He's been in Douluo Continent for so long and has fought quite a few Title Douluos, but this is the first time he's fought a god.

Although it's said that the gods in the Douluo God Realm are largely unreliable, without actually fighting them, one naturally wouldn't know whether the claims are true or false.

Orochius's black wings fluttered gently in the cold wind, as if trying to gather all the snow and ice under his body. The surrounding ice and snow seemed to sense his anger and began to turn into gusts of chilling air, converging on Orochius.

Leosley frowned slightly, his gaze fixed on Orochius, as if assessing the other's strength.

"You are the successor of the Ice God?" Oroshus's words were cold, a hint of contempt flashing in his eyes.

His gaze was as sharp as a hawk's, fixed on Leosley before him, trying to discern some secret from him.

“Ice God? What Ice God?” Leosley said calmly.

"Mortal, do you think you can deceive me?" Orochius's wings slowly unfurled, and a dark aura instantly enveloped the area. His voice was deep and majestic, "Although you have been hiding something, the power of the Ice God within you cannot be faked."

Leosley remained standing, the wind and snow raging around him, yet his figure did not sway in the slightest. His gaze was calm as still water, as if neither Orochius's questioning nor his oppressive aura could shake the serenity within him.

Orochius snorted coldly, his black wings flapping violently. The surrounding ice and snow instantly froze, transforming into countless sharp ice spikes that hovered in the air, pointing towards Leosley. His voice was icy and sharp: "Mortal, this is your last chance. Tell me how you obtained the Heart of the Ice God, and what that starlight power is, or else—"

Before he finished speaking, the black energy around him was already poised to erupt.

Oroshus raised his hand, and a ball of dark energy condensed in his palm.

"Otherwise, you will become part of this ice and snow."

Leosley stood silently in the snowstorm, his black trench coat fluttering in the cold wind. His gaze was calm and profound, as if the surrounding chill could not penetrate him in the slightest. Orochius's threat echoed in his ears, but Leosley's expression remained unchanged, not even a furrow of his brow.

Orochius sneered, the dark energy in his hand growing even more intense: "Looks like you won't learn your lesson until you see the coffin."

His voice was as piercing as the cold wind, and black energy pulsed in his palms, as if it could explode at any moment.

The surrounding ice and snow became even more violent under the influence of his energy, sharp ice spikes spinning in the air with a piercing whistling sound. He had seen many fearless people, but this was the first time he had ever seen such a mortal.

You should know that he has been to many lower planes, and those who have been punished always tremble with fear whenever they see him, afraid that he will take them away.

But Leosley remained silent, only slightly raising his eyes to look directly at Orochius. There was no fear or provocation in his eyes, just a calm scrutiny, as if everything before him was nothing more than an insignificant farce.

"Since you are so stubborn, don't blame me for being ruthless. Try my power."

Oroshus raised his hand, his fingertips tracing an arc in the air. The surrounding chill seemed to respond to his call, forming magical runes on the icy ground. These runes shimmered with an eerie light, like serpentine snakes, strikingly conspicuous in the tranquil far north.

When Hyotei, Yuki-tei, and Shiro arrived, their pupils contracted slightly, their bodies tensed instinctively, and their muscles trembled slightly from the exertion.

A tense atmosphere filled the air, their eyes fixed on the magical runes, not daring to relax for a moment.

Hyotei, Yuki-tei, and Shiro exchanged glances, each seeing a hint of seriousness and anxiety in the other's eyes.

They knew that Orochius's power far exceeded their imagination, and the consequences of being attacked by his power would be unimaginable.

The tense atmosphere almost solidified, as if every breath carried a heavy pressure. Orochius's magical runes gradually took shape on the icy ground, radiating a chilling energy fluctuation.

The wind and snow howled around Leosley, his long hair fluttering in the wind, and the hem of his clothes fluttering slightly, as if responding to Orothius's challenge.

His voice was deep and powerful: "Despite your great strength, do you believe you have an absolute advantage?"

The wind and snow swirled around him, echoing his own imposing presence and creating a unique aura.

The chill in the air seemed to be drawn to him; the snow and ice slowly condensed into a thin layer of frost at his feet, only to be silently dissolved by him, turning into wisps of soft mist that rose up.

Orochius sneered, the dark energy in his palm growing even more intense: "Mortal, you think you can contend with me with such paltry power? How laughable."

"You can try it."

Steampunk-style gauntlets appeared out of thin air on Leosley's right hand, the clanging of metal gears sounding particularly jarring in the silent night.

Orochius raised an eyebrow, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes. His gaze fell on Leosley's gauntlets, then he sneered, "An interesting toy. But do you think you can fight me with something like this?"

With a sudden wave of his hand, the dense mass of dark energy instantly transformed into a massive black shockwave that hurtled towards Leosley. Wherever the shockwave passed, ice and snow melted, the earth cracked, and a suffocating pressure filled the air.

Leosley remained standing, making no move to dodge. Just as the black shockwave was about to strike him, a faint ice-blue barrier suddenly appeared in front of him.

The barrier, though seemingly fragile, burst forth with dazzling light the instant it came into contact with the dark energy, forcefully blocking the shockwave.

"Interesting." (End of Chapter)
