Dedicate loyalty to the good empire

Chapter 31: The Greater Good, Part 3

Chapter 31: The Greater Good, Part 3
Nova saw Taylor's value, and if he was willing, then Empire would sit down and talk.

Though the man was only a lieutenant, the Terra Star emblem and its practical reputation could calm his belligerent fellow humans.

And now Taylor has a gun pointed at his head by the girl. If he doesn't want to be blown up, he can only endure it.

After some hemming and hawing, Taylor had to admit that he was now being subdued by a gun that was bigger than himself.

Nova did not expect that the hero of this empire did not show any thundering means, but surrendered after the appearance of guns.

She hugged Taylor from behind in an ambiguous posture, with her right hand against his head, and walked onto the Manta ray while the members of Team 15 looked as if they had seen a ghost.

To be honest, the power armor is very hard and there is no sense of beauty at all.

This made Taylor a little unhappy.

In fact, what dissatisfied him most were the soldiers. They looked like...

It seems like the boss is having trouble with love again!

looked at him.

The girl from Lightling even said, "Boss, learn some Tau recipes and bring them back!"

Roland said, "Boss, bring back the engineering drawings for the hovercraft. I want to see if I can modify Frenstein into something like that!"

Taylor rolled his eyes. "Guys, I'm being kidnapped, not traveling!"

He sighed, it was frustrating that he had let those guys down too much.

Ms. Nova smiled and said, "You and your subordinates have such a good relationship. Is this trust?"

Taylor replied, "It's more like I'm just enjoying the fun than trusting you."

He naturally walked into the interior of the Manta transport vehicle and began to study this typical Tau technology vehicle.

It is flat, but the interior space is not much worse than that of Chimera. The interior of this one is more messy, but you can still see many beautiful structures similar to the aesthetic of the dark technological age of mankind.

Curves, streamlines, or circles, compared to the main color scheme of the Human Empire, which is a mix of Gothic and medieval styles, without those sharp edges and black, the eagle emblem or the skull, made Taylor feel uncomfortable for a moment.

It was as if the Emperor's gaze had left him.

He looked at the place nonchalantly, whether it was the bouncing air cushions or the interesting multi-pulse guns.

This is an excellent weapon with heavy firepower, although the compartment is filled with various magazines and food packaging bags.

Promotional material and garbage.

Taylor picked up a magazine featuring half-naked Tau women, noseless blue women who were physiologically similar to humans.

Well, they all look the same.

Except its feet are hooves, its skin is blue, and it has no nose.

Taylor watched in front of Nova without a care in the world, while the woman blushed.

"That's enough! I kidnapped you! Why are you acting so nonchalant?"

Taylor replied, "Because this isn't the first time. I've seen it many times."

“I think it probably won’t be the last time.”

He smiled bitterly.

"Secondly, your companions are still with my soldiers. If I can't exchange them for your companions, then the Greater Good's equality for all is just a joke."

"We all have hostages, so it's no problem."

Taylor's comment was indifferent. In fact, he was not an optimist. It was just that now that he knew the bugs were coming, it was equally dangerous anywhere in the world.

In this case, we might as well give it a try and see what the Titanium Tribe has to offer.

Then he sat in the passenger seat of the Manta, watching the engine's holographic screen display the road while flipping through those pornographic magazines.

Nova said a little dissatisfiedly. "Sir, there is a lady next to you."

Taylor replied. "On the battlefield, we are all soldiers." "Any snacks?"

He stretched out his hand with his palm open, and Nova could only helplessly take half a bag of opened milk-flavored cookies.

Taylor chewed a few times and then complained. "I thought humans were the only species that still needed dairy products after weaning."

Nova was guided to answer. "Actually, the Titanium use milk as a flavor enhancer in their cuisine. Milk is not uncommon in rich noodle soups."

"This represents the material abundance of the Tau Empire."

"Milk is like the gift of ether, granting us adequate physical and mental health."

She babbled on and on, but Taylor said.

"As far as I know, the agriculture of the Tau Empire only developed rapidly after attacking several agricultural worlds of the Empire."

Nova retorted. "It's about learning and learning from others."

Taylor asked. "I'm more curious if you'll do what the Empire does: erase a world's mountains, fill in its oceans, and grow planet-scale crops using poisonous fertilizers and constantly transported water."

"Besides, I can't imagine how the Tau Empire can support so many people."

"But if you do that, what is the difference between the so-called Greater Good and the Empire? They are both products of one's own selfish desires."

Nova replied. "This is an act for the Tau Empire, and that is good."

Taylor held his nose and said perfunctorily, "Okay."

He didn't care, the universe was bad enough as it was.

The two chatted casually, and soon the manta ray crossed the sea level and arrived at a giant building similar to a star port.

A large number of pulse weapons and rail weapons filled the huge streamlined platform, and countless Tau vehicles that Taylor couldn't name came and went.

Their vehicle entered the starport's road, and with a sense of ascent, they entered a translucent elevator.

From the monitor, Taylor could see the endless sea horizon and the lush islands in the distance, which made him put down the Titanium Girl magazine in his hand for a moment.

When the transport vehicle arrived at the upper level, Taylor was taken off the vehicle by Miss Nova. A Titanium elder in a blue robe came over, accompanied by several fully armed fire warriors.

The blue-skinned old man had a circle of raised white pebble-like things on his cheeks. These were the wrinkles of the Titanium Clan, and they looked a little disgusting.

His voice was elegant and old, and he said, "High-ranking official of the Shui clan, Kabuzhuo Li Ken La, pays tribute to you."

He rattled off a list of Tau names that Taylor couldn't remember at all.

But Taylor remembered seeing the name on his first day here, and he remembered the box of supplies; it tasted okay.

Then he said, "I have read your book and I can say it is well written."

In fact, he was praising the individual rations inside.

The old man nodded weakly and said, "Uwe, I've read your report. We are facing a serious problem, and this gentleman will change our situation."

"Let him rest for now. We are going to notify the Empire."

Taylor raised his hand. "Um, can I have a Tau recipe?"

The high-ranking Water Clan official nodded.

He pressed the issue further. "Can I get another copy of the manta ray design?"

The high-ranking official of the Shui clan frowned.

Taylor probably understood that Titanium and humans had the same expression of dissatisfaction, and secondly, he didn't want to.

But the old man from the Shui clan said, "Okay, I'll give you one as a token of my sincerity."

"The Empire can't do it anyway."

Now it was Taylor's turn to frown.
