I run a hotel in Huangshan

Chapter 11 Hostility

Chapter 11 Hostility
"I'm done with my work. Mr. Lu brought me food and I went home after eating. Mr. Zhou, have you eaten yet? Do you want to have something to eat together?" Han Qingyue asked.

After Han Qingyue finished speaking, Zhou Chenyu subconsciously looked at Lu Siqing, who was sitting opposite Han Qingyue and having dinner with her.

Lu Siqing was dressed casually, his lazy demeanor exuding a compelling handsomeness. Although he was not clear about his relationship with Han Qingyue, seeing him delivering food to Han Qingyue and eating with her so intimately, Zhou Chenyu guessed that their relationship might be more than ordinary.

The two men's eyes met, and although they both smiled, they knew in their hearts that it was just a polite smile to maintain their demeanor in front of Han Qingyue. Behind the smile, there was a turbulent undercurrent.

"This is..." Zhou Chenyu wanted to get a clear answer.

"Oh, Mr. Zhou, this is Mr. Lu from Siqing Travel, he is also my brother's childhood friend. Mr. Lu, this is Mr. Zhou from Chenyu Travel." Han Qingyue introduced politely and courteously.

Zhou Chenyu felt a little jealous. Compared to just partners, Lu Siqing and Han Qingyue were closer than him.

"Mr. Zhou, I've heard of you a long time ago! Qingyue said that you not only cooperate with Qingxin, but also introduce a lot of business to Qingxin. I'll treat you someday to thank you very much!" Lu Siqing's tone revealed obvious possessiveness.

Zhou Chenyu smiled faintly and said, "Mr. Lu, you're too polite. I don't need your thanks."

Zhou Chenyu was very measured and didn't say anything else, but his subtext was obvious: "This is a matter between Han Qingyue and me. I don't need your thanks."

Han Qingyue could sense the subtle atmosphere in the room. After a brief lull, she walked over to Zhou Chenyu and asked, "Mr. Zhou, why don't you sit down and have something to eat with us? Mr. Lu's cooking skills are excellent; he made all this himself."

Zhou Chenyu subconsciously looked at the dishes on the table. They looked very good. He was impressed by this. He had never been in the kitchen before, but for Han Qingyue, he was happy to cook.

Zhou Chenyu didn't respond, but looked at Lu Siqing and said with a smile: "I didn't expect that Mr. Lu's business is so good, and his cooking skills are so good that he can even work part-time as a chef!"

Lu Siqing could hear a hint of teasing in his tone and replied calmly, "Mr. Zhou, you're flattering me. I think only Qingyue can eat the food I cook. Qingyue is giving me face. Besides, our Siqing Travel business is not as big as Chenyu's, so I have plenty of time to study cooking."

Han Qingyue thought to herself, why is there such a sense of tension in the words between these two people when they meet for the first time? Is it because Siqing Travel and Chenyu Travel are competitors?

Zhou Chenyu simply smiled at Lu Siqing's strange compliment and said to Han Qingyue, "Qingyue, I'll be in Huangshan for the next while. If you have anything, feel free to come to me. I'll be staying in the Longyin private room."

Most of the private rooms at the Qingxin Hotel Huangshan branch are named after poems related to Huangshan. The room where Zhou Chenyu stayed is on the top floor of the hotel. The interior decoration is elegant and quiet, and it blends perfectly with the mountain view outside the window.

Before Han Qingyue could respond, Lu Siqing said, "Please don't worry about Qingyue's affairs, Mr. Zhou. Her brother and I will take care of her. Besides, Qingyue doesn't seem to need anyone else's care."

Han Qingyue looked at the two of them, who were talking back and forth, leaving her no chance to interrupt.

Zhou Chenyu smiled and said nothing more. Perhaps sensing the tension in the air, he said goodbye to Han Qingyue and left.

Han Qingyue noticed Lu Siqing's unhappy expression and asked, "Why do I feel like you're hostile to Zhou Chenyu? Isn't this the first time you've met?" Looking in the direction Zhou Chenyu had left, Lu Siqing defended himself, "I just can't stand his familiarity. Is he that familiar with you? Do you need him to care about you?"

Lu Siqing spoke with a stubborn childish air, just like when he was a child protecting his toys and refusing to let other children touch them. Han Qingyue found it funny, but said nothing.

After dinner, Han Qingyue continued working while Lu Siqing sat on the sofa reading a book. He said he would wait for her and take her home. After he yawned several times, Han Qingyue finally turned off the computer. She couldn't bear to see him accompany her like this.

The light in the room cast a shadow on Lu Siqing's perfect profile, adding a touch of tenderness to his handsome face. After a brief moment of distraction, Han Qingyue stood up and walked towards him.

Hearing her footsteps, he looked towards her. At this moment, Han Qingyue's heart moved slightly. If she were younger, she would probably fall for such tenderness, thoughtfulness, and his extraordinary male charm.

Lu Siqing's appearance perfectly matched her aesthetic, with sharp eyebrows, bright eyes, and an extraordinary bearing. When he was quiet, he was cold and arrogant, but when he smiled, he was a different person, sunny and a little bit ruffian. The two different temperaments were natural in him, without any sense of disobedience.

"Boss Han, why are you looking at me so lustfully?"

The originally ambiguous atmosphere was broken by Lu Siqing, who described Han Qingyue as a female hooligan.

"Let's go, take me home!" Han Qingyue didn't bother to pay attention to his words, picked up her bag and pushed the door open to go out.

Lu Siqing hurried to follow. At this moment, he felt like the henchman of a domineering female CEO.

Zhou Chenyu's stay at the Qingxin Hotel forced Lu Siqing to be on guard. He increased his daily visits to the hotel from once to twice, and even came to the hotel to have lunch with Han Qingyue or take her out for lunch. His purpose was simple: to prevent Zhou Chenyu from having any private contact with Han Qingyue. A few days later, Zhou Chenyu left Huangshan for business and returned to Beijing.

Han Qingyue found Lu Siqing's overly vigilant behavior amusing, but she didn't intend to interfere. She was happy to enjoy the food she received.

In the following days, Lu Siqing led the team to do live broadcasts in Huangshan during the day and insisted on delivering meals to Han Qingyue at night.

That day, Lu Siqing was absent due to some matters. Han Qingyue was struggling to decide what to eat when Zhou Chenyu called. His tone on the other end of the phone was filled with excitement: "Qingyue, I'm in Huangshan for an event and will still be staying in the Longyin private room. I'd like to invite you to dinner."

Han Qingyue glanced at the time and it wasn't too late. However, she was a little hesitant when Zhou Chenyu invited her to a private room for dinner.

Han Qingyue wasn't completely unguarded against Zhou Chenyu. She wasn't stupid and could sense his affection for her. But her fearless nature made her unconcerned with his intentions. This was her territory, so who would dare to be so presumptuous? After some thought, she agreed.

Arriving at the door, Han Qingyue knocked gently, and Zhou Chenyu's excited voice echoed from within. Zhou Chenyu, who appeared to be wearing a simple white shirt and gray casual pants, looked calm and relaxed. Han Qingyue admired his taste. The gray and white color scheme complemented his refined temperament.

Han Qingyue followed Zhou Chenyu into the room and glanced around. She saw a large suitcase next to the sofa. It seemed that Zhou Chenyu wanted to stay longer.
