Chapter 6 Maintenance
When Third Aunt Li Yuegui saw her mother-in-law scolding Tao Qiuyi, she hurried to her mother-in-law and whispered a few words in her ear. The old woman's face suddenly changed, and she glared at Wei Jingyuan fiercely, as if she wanted to eat him alive.

"You're such a jerk, Wei Jingyuan! I'm still alive, and you're already trying to stir up trouble, aren't you?" Li Hongying cursed angrily. She certainly wouldn't beat Wei Jingyuan to death, as killing was against the law. She just wanted to subdue Tao Jingyuan and his two siblings so that they wouldn't dare to resist her in the future and would work obediently for the Wei family.

"I'll take care of this little business," Tao Qiuyi snorted coldly, his icy gaze sweeping over the other members of the Wei family. "I'm telling you, from now on, these three belong to me. Anyone who bullies me needs to ask me first."

Tao Qiuyi was still wearing the ill-fitting cotton-padded jacket she hadn't even taken off when she slept. Her pants were Wei Jingyuan's, and they were too long and big on her. She was barefoot, and she looked very funny. However, the aura she exuded was impossible to ignore, and it shocked everyone in the Wei family.

The three words "my person" made Wei Jingyuan and his two siblings in the room look up at her back at the same time.

Unexpectedly, Tao Qiuyi turned her wrist and used the bamboo broom as a stick. With a light swing, Li Hongying took several steps back uncontrollably. Fortunately, her eldest daughter-in-law supported her and she did not fall.

"A family?" Tao Qiuyi curled his lips in sarcasm, turning on his offensive mode. "Do you treat them as members of the Wei family? You beat and scold them at will, and bully them at will. Look at what you are wearing, and then look at what they are wearing. How dare you say we are a family?"

"You just treat these three orphans as laborers and servants because they're easy targets. You exploit them to death and don't even give them enough food. How can you call this a family?"
