As Wei Jingyuan talked about what happened in the bamboo forest, Tao Qiuyi became increasingly bored. She reached into her jacket pocket, intending to take out some food from her ring space.

"What are you thinking, looking at me like that?" Tao Qiuyi raised an eyebrow, smiling as she turned to face Wei Jingyuan. She reached out and poked his chest, finally hearing his erratic heartbeat.

Thump thump, the rhythm of the day was lost.

"I'm thinking of going to urge Huang Hao tomorrow." Wei Jingyuan clenched his fist on his lap, trying hard to suppress the impulse in his heart.

Looking at his clenched fist, Tao Qiuyi asked, "Why did you go to urge Huang Hao?"

Wei Jingyuan didn't answer, he just looked at her. She was wearing a well-fitting thin cotton coat, which made her figure look even more petite and charming.

"Aren't you cold wearing so little?" Wei Jingyuan got up, walked to the table, sat down, and grabbed a handful of sunflower seeds, placing them in front of him.

"I'm not cold." Tao Qiuyi shook her head; she genuinely didn't feel cold. Glancing at him, Wei Jingyuan slowly began peeling sunflower seeds.
