Tao Qiusi came out of the kitchen after washing the dishes, carrying a basin in her hand. She planned to go back inside and mix some flour, so that she could make flour dumpling soup by noon after it had fermented.

Xiao Huai and Li Zi had to study, so he had nothing to do and decided to cook lunch for them today.

Just as she stepped into the courtyard, she heard the sound of the gate being pushed open. Thinking that Wei Jingyuan and Tao Qiuyi had returned, Tao Qiusi stopped and turned to look at the gate.

As the siblings stepped out the door, they witnessed a scene that infuriated them. In the courtyard, Tao Qiusi was being held by the arm of Wei Laoda and pinned behind her back.

Their grandmother, Li Hongying, was standing nearby, cursing and swearing.

"What are you doing?" Xiao Huai was furious, clenched his fists and strode over.

A figure swept past Xiao Huai and rushed straight towards Boss Wei and Tao Qiusi. Using the momentum, the figure shoved Boss Wei aside, shouting, "Let go of Brother Qiusi!"

Wei Laoda couldn't withstand the impact and was pushed back several steps. Then he fell to the ground, and the person who pushed him fell on top of him.
