Chapter 3 Get Out

Han Hongmei pulled his hand enthusiastically. Su Wan didn't say anything, but sat upright and listened to her performance.

Han Hongmei patted her hands and spoke lovingly.

"Thin."

Han Hongmei said a lot of repetitive words, trying to improve the meager mother-daughter relationship between the two. However, no matter what Han Hongmei said, Su Wan remained indifferent. Han Hongmei's polite words were stuck in her throat and she couldn't continue to be polite.

After a brief silence, Su Chengde spoke with a smile.

"Wanwan, have a good talk with your mother."

Perhaps thinking that such matters were easier to discuss between mother and daughter, Su Chengde gave Han Hongmei a look, then stood up and left.

"Wanwan, Mom has arranged a marriage for you..."

Finally getting to the point.

Han Hongmei praised the man for coming from a distinguished military family. Both his parents were soldiers but died a few years ago. Now the family is simple, with only the man living with his grandmother.

Her tone was full of praise for the man, as if it was Su Wan's honor that they were willing to marry her, and if she lost this marriage, she would never find it again even with a lantern.

If Su Wan hadn't just heard the conversation between the Su couple, she would have almost believed it.

They are really the same as always - mean, stupid and cruel!

During the entire semester at school, no one visited her, let alone asked her how she was doing at school, whether she had enough money to spend, whether she had enough clothes to wear, and whether she was keeping up with her studies.

Originally, the purpose of sending her to school was not to let her learn anything, but just to let her experience school life.

They kept saying they loved her and made amends for her, but they left her to fend for herself in school.

Every piece of her clothes had a patch on it, and she patched them again and again at school. She was forced to wash clothes for her classmates, and her hands were so cold in winter that the chilblains often bled.

Su Qing, who has delicate skin and tender flesh, will suffer if she gets married, while she, who has thick skin and flesh, should bear these hardships.

Seeing that Su Wan didn't say anything, Han Hongmei coughed unnaturally, took out a photo and placed it in front of Su Wan.

The man in the photo has a buzz cut, sharp eyebrows, starry eyes, and a straight nose. He looks very heroic. His face is a little cold, which makes him look even more cruel.

Han Hongmei looked at Su Wan with a slight movement in her eyes, and persuaded her again, "Wanwan, if you marry him, you won't be bullied. I have seen Xiao Qin, that child. You..."

She frowned. From what they said, such a good marriage was originally given to Su Qing, but now they wanted to push her out to marry. Even if she used her toes to think, she knew there was a problem.

She looked at Han Hongmei and asked very seriously.

"really?"

"Really, really."

Han Hongmei turned her head away awkwardly.

"I marry."

When Su Wan said this, Han Hongmei was stunned for a moment. She had a lot of words of persuasion stuck in her throat. She didn't expect Su Wan to agree so directly.

The conversation between the mother and daughter ended in silence. Su Wan thought to herself that since the other party was a soldier, his character would not be too bad, as long as his character was not bad.

Then marrying there would be better than staying in the Su family.

She turned over and fell into a deep sleep.

The next day, Su Wan heard Su Shikun's unbelievable voice.

"Mom, how could you let Wanwan marry Qin Yi? You know that Qin Yi..."

Han Hongmei glared at him unhappily.

"What if she doesn't want to marry? We can't let Qingqing marry!"

"We have already promised them, so we should keep our word. Besides, if the Qin family hadn't helped us back then, I'm afraid..."

Seeing Su Wan coming out, the two of them shut up tacitly.

Even though she was mentally prepared, Su Wan's heart still ached when she heard her biological mother speak out such a cruel fact without any disguise and her brother openly defending her.

For several days, Han Hongmei seemed to have turned on the switch of maternal love. She took good care of Su Wan, bought her clothes and shoes, and wedding supplies. Su Chengde was even more like a kind father.

Even Su Qing frequently showed her kindness to Su Wan.

On the sixteenth day of the twelfth lunar month, Su Wan found out that her wedding would be held three days later. Su Shikun came back excitedly holding a radio.

"Wanwan, take a look. Do you like it?" "This is a wedding present for you!"

Su Shikun placed the item on the table in front of Su Wan. Su Wan took a look at it and found that this radio was very valuable and a rare item.

Before she could say anything, Su Qing came running over, saw the radio on the table, and rushed over with a "Wow".

"Brother, this radio is of great quality. I have wanted it for a long time."

As he turned the switch, a singing voice came out from inside.

Su Qing's eyes were full of stars.

"Brother, brother, listen to this sound quality, it's so good."

Su Shikun rubbed her head lovingly and spoke helplessly.

"You are still like a little kid. Why don't you thank your sister?"

Su Qing smiled sweetly at Su Wan.

"Thank you sister, I like it very much."

Su Wan frowned and stood up to go back to her room.

Su Shikun looked at Su Wan's dark face, his brows furrowed.

"What's that expression on your face? Are you looking down on me just for a radio? I bought you this radio, so how can you look down on me?"

Su Wan lowered her eyes, trying hard to suppress the bitterness in her heart.

"The room you prepared for me, she just said she liked it, and it became hers. It was my wedding gift, she just said she liked it, and you gave it to her without asking me, and I can't even have any emotions, right?"

Su Shikun glanced at Su Qing worriedly, pulled her behind him, and then turned around and scolded Su Wan: "For such a small matter, you have to make trouble and hurt Qingqing, right? I warn you, if this happens again, I will..."

"Just gonna beat me up again, huh?"

Su Qing pulled him with red eyes.

"Brother, stop talking. I'll just give it back to my sister."

"Qingqing, ignore her, she's just jealous. She's getting married soon anyway."

Su Wan looked at him deeply, eyes full of sarcasm, then turned around and went back to her room.

Su Shikun overturned the table angrily, his scarlet eyes full of anger.

Su Wan is really ignorant. It’s just a radio. Qingqing likes it so much, so what’s wrong with giving it to her?
Is she really that serious? She's just being rude? Her temper is really getting worse.

By the time of the wedding, even though Su Wan was mentally prepared, she felt even more heartbroken when that day really came.

There was no wedding party or wedding reception. Su Chengde and his son just sent her to the Qin family. Even after they got married, Su Chengde never looked at Su Wan and could not hide his guilty conscience.

Su Wan looked at the man sitting in the house. He was indeed as handsome as in the photo. She finally understood why they didn't hold a wedding and why Su Chengde and his wife were reluctant to let Su Qing marry into their family.

Qin Yi was paralyzed.

"Wanwan, this is your and Ayi's room."

Old Mrs. Qin was a kind old lady. She brought Su Wan in and closed the door considerately when she left.

Su Wan glanced at Qin Yi who was sitting in a wheelchair. He had a cold expression and looked at Su Wan as if he were an enemy.

She walked over, put the things down, and poured Qin Yi a glass of water.

"Drink some water."

Qin Yi pushed the water to the ground.

"Get out, you are not welcome here."

"We're married, this is my home, I'm not going anywhere."

Su Wan left these words, turned around and began to clean up the room, making the bed neatly.

Until he lay down on the bed, Qin Yi was still sulking. How could this woman be so shameless? He had already driven her away, but she could still do whatever she wanted with a clear conscience.

In the middle of the night, Su Wan turned over and one of her legs rested squarely on Qin Laoer. Qin Yi stiffened as if he had been struck by lightning.
