Chapter 25: Smell
The safest thing is to start a fire, as fire is the nemesis of all plants and animals.

The battle was over. Silver Wolf was panting heavily from exhaustion, and there were bleeding wounds on his body. Some of it was caused by self-harm while resisting the virus, and some of it was caused by the injury he had just received from the big purple flower.

Mu Ran also came out from the corner and asked nervously, "Are you Rex?"

Rex looked at the bedraggled female and nodded.

Seeing him nod, Mu Ran was completely relieved, and said with a slightly complicated look: "Thank you for saving me again."

He helped her pick fruits in the morning and saved her life in the evening. Actually, the wolf beast is not a bad person...

Rex didn't have time to ask her why she ran again. After taking a breath, the wolf opened its mouth, gently bit the female's clothes, and left with a few jumps.

Mu Ran screamed subconsciously when she was suddenly held in the mouth. After she found that it didn't hurt, she relaxed. She thought the other party was going to take her back to the cave.

Not long after they left, some wild beasts appeared here, attracted by the female's voice or the smell of blood.

But they were still a step too late. There was nothing here except a pile of horrific corpses of plants and animals.

Mu Ran was brought back to the cave. Before she could even ask any questions, Rex pressed her down on the stone slab and rubbed her from head to toe. He did not let her go until she was stained with his scent, and then he let her lie down to rest.

Mu Ran was already stunned by Tian. He put on his clothes with a red face. It took him a long time to realize what the other party was doing. He felt angry and annoyed for a moment.

"You've gone too far!" He actually took advantage of her!
Rex simply glanced at the female's anger.

Then he stretched out his paw and wrote on the ground: 'Your scent will attract more abandoned beasts.'

"If you don't want to be killed, don't resist me."

"..." Mu Ran's face turned black and red after reading this. What kind of vicious words were these!
She understood the other party's intention, but she felt so ashamed that it was written so bluntly!

I bit my lip in embarrassment, not knowing what to say.

She thought, as long as Rex didn't force her, it didn't matter...

Seeing that she didn't say anything, Rex wrote on the ground: 'Stay in the cave and don't run around. I'll find you something to eat.'

After I finished writing, I still felt uneasy. After all, that female had a criminal record. She had already run away twice today, and there was no guarantee that she wouldn't do it a third time.

Then he added: "If you dare to run again, don't blame me for forcing you. I will tie you up and never let you go out again!"

Mu Ran: “…”

The corner of his eye twitched violently, and he said hurriedly: "Don't worry, I won't run away again. It's very dangerous outside. Only here with you makes me feel safe."

Rex felt better after hearing this and gave her a look that seemed to say: I'm glad you know it.

Then he left the cave.

The silver light disappeared in a flash. Mu Ran walked to the cave entrance and looked outside.

The moon tonight was covered by dark clouds, making the forest look particularly dark. Strange cries could be heard from time to time around, and I didn't know what animal made them, but they sounded creepy.

Mu Ran rubbed the goose bumps on her arms. She was left alone, and it would be a lie to say she wasn't afraid.

But she had no choice but to endure the fear, as she could no longer return to that peaceful world.

She slowly retreated back to the cave, thinking optimistically that it wasn't that bad, at least she had a wolf to keep her company tonight.

But it would be even better if she could find Tia and the others. The cave was pitch black, and without firewood or fire powers, she couldn't even light a fire. She could only sit on the not-so-clean stone slab and wait.

It was pitch black around her, and suddenly she slapped her forehead and realized she had forgotten her cell phone!
She hurriedly took out her long-forgotten mobile phone from her pocket, only to find that the screen was broken. She guessed that it was broken when she was dragged by Da Zihua.

I tapped the screen twice and the phone immediately lit up, but unfortunately, it only flashed twice, then the low battery warning sounded and then it turned off.

Mu Ran put his phone aside speechlessly. Forget it, it’s useless even if it has power.

The only role that a mobile phone can play here is to check the time, but it is not very necessary now.

She doesn't have to go to work, nor does she need to do anything on time. She might be gone one day. Do you know that time doesn't mean much to her?

In boredom, Rex returned.

He held a branch in his mouth, on which were five or six wild berries, and in his claws was a small dead prey.

I put it on the ground as soon as I entered the cave. Seeing her sitting obediently on the stone slab, I felt quite satisfied.

"Woo." Come and eat.

Then he lay on the ground motionless, looking very tired.

Mu Ran walked over, squatted beside the silver wolf, and looked at the blood on his body.

Somewhat reluctantly, "You are injured. Wait until I am full and I will treat your wounds, okay?"

Hearing this, Rex couldn't help but look at her with suspicion, as if to say: Can you do it?

The other party's suspicious look made Mu Ran snort, and the next second, holy light and fire appeared in his palm, "What do you mean by that look? I have the ability of healing. You will know whether I can help you or not in a moment."

"...!"

Silver Wolf's gaze stayed on her ability, and he was both surprised and puzzled. A female actually had healing abilities. A female with healing abilities was very precious to the empire.

They have always been the object of special protection of the empire and the males, how could they be exiled to Wamo Star!

Unless she had committed an unforgivable crime, he didn't think that this delicate female in front of him could have committed any serious crime.

He couldn't help but write on the ground: 'How did you get here?'

Mu Ran, who was chewing a fruit, saw this and replied, "I was captured by mistake. I was unconscious due to an accident and was thrown out of the plane when I woke up. I have been here for two days."

As he said this, he sighed. He thought he had lived a hard life before, but he didn't expect that this was just the beginning of hard times.

Her previous life was simply a paradise for her. At least she could have enough food to eat if she worked. It was different now, where not only could she not have enough food to eat, but she was also in danger of losing her life at any time.

The female's answer surprised and angered Rex. An accidental arrest? What do the Imperial Star Police do for a living? How could they make an accidental arrest?
It's okay for females to commit crimes, they deserve it.

But such a beautiful and lovely female was also thrown to the Wamo Star. If she hadn't met him, who knows what would have happened to her!

Rex's eyes were cold. Those rubbish from the Empire couldn't even protect a female. How could they be qualified to have a partner?
Mu Ran didn't see that he was angry. After telling his origins, he asked tentatively: "I was unconscious before. I want to ask where you found me?"

Hearing the question, Rex looked up at her and wrote without blushing: "I found it on the roadside."
