Chapter 171 The Puppy Has Arrived!

Jiang Lan looked at the phone that had been hung up and pouted. It was just a joke, why did she get so worked up?

Nan Xu was somewhat surprised. Lu Zhiyan was extremely clean; he was a germaphobe. How could he possibly have such an unpleasant smell on him?

Before Nan Xu could finish speaking, Lu Zhiyan opened his coat, revealing a cute white, fluffy head with round, dark eyes looking at Nan Xu.

She whimpered and snuggled into Lu Zhiyan's arms, as if unwilling to leave that warm "doghouse".

"This...this is a puppy? What an adorable puppy!" Nan Xu happily patted the puppy's head.

The puppy's head was so small it wasn't even as big as her palm; it was so adorable.

Nan Xu was about to take the puppy when Lu Zhiyan stopped her with his hand. "Don't hold it yet. This little brat just peed on me and is still dirty. I'll wipe it off for you before you hold it."

"Jiang Lan's things are in the back seat, take them down." Lu Zhiyan opened the car door, and Nan Xu took out the suitcase. The floor was slippery, and the things weren't heavy, so Nan Xu just carried them into the lobby.

The two bickered all the way into the hall. It was the weekend, so there were no servants, and it was lunchtime.

"Give me the dog, and you go cook."

"That's fine, but should I put it in the bathroom to wipe it or somewhere else to wipe it?" Lu Zhiyan asked, holding the puppy and looking at Nan Xu.

"Uh, I haven't thought about it yet. What are your thoughts?" Nan Xu carefully placed the dog on the sofa and surrounded it with cushions.

The fluffy cushion is incredibly warm.

Nan Xu followed Lu Zhiyan into the kitchen, leaning against the door frame as she watched him take ingredients out of the refrigerator.

“I don’t have any ideas, and I’m not very good at naming things.” Lu Zhiyan took a carton of yogurt from the refrigerator and handed it to Nan Xu.
