Chapter 5 I Marry
Qin Bi actually knew very well that the Qin Yanhou Mansion had to rely on the Rongwang Mansion or the Yanguogong Mansion.

Her father Qin Di protected her and suggested that it was not cost-effective to divorce after marriage. Marriage is for dependence, and proposing a divorce would only make the Duke's Mansion unhappy, and her brother's future would be uncertain.

So, no matter what, Qin Di and his son did their best to protect her.

And the Marquis' Mansion also did not have a good treatment with Duke Yan.

Qin Bi sighed. She could finally breathe a sigh of relief when He Yan married Qin He, the Marquis of Qin Yan. At least the Marquis of Qin Yan would marry someone He Yan liked, and the fourth wife would get nothing. Her stepmother He's family would not be allowed to enter the house anymore.

In the afternoon, just after lunch, He Yan came.

The man was tall and handsome in a brocade robe. He Yan sat beside the bed and spoke softly, "Qin Bi, it's not easy for Qin He to wait for me for so many years. Why do you have to care about it? She has always wanted to be with someone for the rest of her life. She is willing to be my co-wife. There is no reason for you to make a fuss."

A life together? Luo Bi sneered. She wanted to do that, but this was ancient times. Even women who practiced Taoism did not have much status. The marriage had been delayed for so many years. It was simply wishful thinking to want to marry someone who only had her in his heart.

"Qin He is afraid of death!" Qin Bi said bluntly.

Doesn't Qin He want to be the legitimate wife? She just doesn't have that fate.

She is afraid of being killed, but also wants to marry into a Duke's family, so she wants to take advantage of all good things.

He Yan sighed, restrained his fierceness, and said softly: "Let's stop making trouble. She has been waiting for me for a long time and it is not easy for her to get married. I will only marry her as a co-wife, and no one can take your position as the legitimate wife."

Qin Bi was tired and thought it was meaningless to say these things: "In that case, you should just marry Qin He and avoid divorce."

"My fate is not good for her, but you didn't hinder her." He Yan said, and told Qin Bi: "I will not divorce."

"I'm not in the way? I'm being jinxed by you now." Qin Bi was so angry that her head was dizzy. She angrily said, "Can you have some shame? You like each other, you should get married regardless of whether you are jinxed or not. I don't want to marry you. Don't you know that you are jinxed? I don't want to be the legitimate wife."

Qin Bi was so angry that she cursed, but if she didn't say something a little bit harsh, it would not be enough to vent her hatred.

The prince of the Duke was arrogant and had never been despised like this before. He Yan's face darkened and he acted like a powerful official: "Have you ever thought about who would dare to marry you after the divorce?"

Qin Bi was not afraid: "At worst, I won't marry."

"Okay." He Yan sneered and stood up: "I agree to the divorce."

He Yan flicked his sleeves and left, and Qin Bi let out a breath of foul air.

Next, the two mansions prepared for the wedding. When the second wife of the Marquis's Mansion heard that it was decided to marry Qin He as a co-wife, she was indescribably happy. However, Qin He was not happy at all. She just wanted to be together for the rest of her life and did not want to be a co-wife.

But thinking back to the dizzy feeling she had when she got engaged to He Yan, Qin He was still frightened and her heart was pounding with fear. Her younger sister saw that she was unhappy and tried to persuade her.

"The prince doesn't like Qin Bi, why are you worried? A concubine is the same as a wife."

"Yes, yes, the prince favors you in his heart."

"The prince has taken great pains for you, so don't think about anything else."

Qin He still felt uncomfortable after listening to her sisters' words.

When the Marquis' Mansion and the Duke of Yan's Mansion were preparing for the marriage, Qin Bi's health was not getting better, but it was not getting worse either, so no one could tell whether there was any problem. After thinking about it, Qin Di decided to write a letter to Rong Jun, the prince of King Rong who was stationed outside.

If the fourth house took Qin Bi back, it would mean that they would have fallen out with the Duke's Mansion, and the fourth house of the Marquis' Mansion could only rely on the Prince of Rong. The Prince of Rong did not reply, and Qin Di did not care. He just told the son-in-law that the Marquis' Mansion had planned. Qin Yan and his brother were very worried, fearing that they could not rely on either side.

In the days before the wedding, all the Qin Bi people in the Marquis' Mansion came to give gifts and to stay with the guests. It was not for any other reason than that He Yan was unlucky in marrying. Even if he was not, it was really pitiful for the prince to marry a concubine right after getting married.

The sisters who had some small thoughts restrained themselves.

Qin Bi didn't want to care about these mundane things. Her eldest sister-in-law was busy running around. Qin Bi saw it all. When she saw her father Qin Di, she said, "Father, you won't lie to me about getting divorced after marriage, right?"

Qin Di took another look at the child. He had never realized before that this child had a very clear vision.

"I won't lie to you." Qin Di saw his daughter's eyes were red again, and said, "I'll send your brother to pick you up later."

Qin Bi finally felt relieved. All the people in this generation had come to give gifts in the past few days. No one knew what Qin He was thinking, but she also came. When the eldest sister-in-law saw it, she immediately sent someone to find Qin Yan, and she went to meet him and talk to him.

Qin Jian and Qin Xun hurried over and stopped Qin He. Thinking that their sister might be killed and this half cousin Qin He might benefit from it, they felt that they could give up their future.

"Qin He, it's not appropriate for you to come!" Qin Jian didn't give Qin He any face.

"We are sisters after all." Qin He felt that the fourth room was ridiculous and did not even care about the basic decency.

"A sister like you?" Qin Xun looked at Qin He and said, "Forget it, go back. Qin Bi doesn't want to see you."

Qin He left angrily. Qin Bi heard it in the bedroom and sneered, saying that she was pretending to be such a hypocrite for someone else.

On the day of the wedding, all the younger generations in the Marquis' Mansion were delighted. According to Qin Bi's wishes, the dowry was packed with all the things sent by He Yan, and the original items were returned. The fourth room understood, as did the old Marquis and Marquis Qin Yan, but no one else knew.

She was worried that Qin Bi would get married safely, but she was fine the next day. The entire Duke Yan's Mansion, which had originally been against taking Qin He as a co-wife, now stopped them.

In the morning, Qin Bi and He Yan wanted to sign the divorce letter, but He Yan ignored her.

Qin Bi's heart skipped a beat, but luckily Qin Yan came to pick her up at noon: "He Yan, the divorce letter."

He Yan narrowed his eyes and said to Qin Yan: "Have you ever thought about who would dare to marry her after marrying me?"

Qin Yan didn't want to waste time talking to his cousin. He was afraid that He Yan would marry Qin He and would not take care of his cousin: "Qin Xun and I will support her."

He Yan was silent for a moment, then stood up and wrote a divorce letter. Qin Yan took it, and then Qin Bi left. Duke Yan's Mansion was a first-class Duke's Mansion, not a lowered one. Qin Bi walked and felt out of place in the Duke's Mansion.

After returning to the courtyard of the fourth room in the Marquis' Mansion, Qin Bi met with his stepmother and went back to his own courtyard to sleep.

Qin He felt very unlucky. The dizziness she felt when she was engaged to He Yan last time might be due to other reasons. If she had known that their fate would not be against them, she would not have let Qin Bi marry He Yan. After Qin Bi was married, she always felt inferior to Qin Bi if she married again.

Qin He's stepmother and sister-in-law talked about this and sighed, "Who would dare to marry Qin Bi in this situation?"

Zhu from the third wife also sighed. Qin He was getting married next, and the younger generations all went to the second wife to curry favor with her. Qin Lang did not go and was sulking at home. Qin Bi had been with the third wife for several years and was closer to her than Qin He.

The day after Qin Biheli returned, Prince Rong Jun of King Rong, who was on guard outside, rushed back.

In the fourth house's main courtyard, Rong Jun said, "I will marry her."
