"I see this God of War, hesitant and timid, not even daring to show his face. He is nothing but a traitor!"

Martin laughed three times and praised the God of War, but no surprise force came to slap him in the face.

The stone soldiers charged forward in phalanxes and began to spread out, trying to crush all the enemies like a millstone.

Regarding this crude tactic, Martin said, you are fucking asleep!

"Creation magic, activate!"

He stuck his snake staff into the ground, activated his magic, and fields of corn suddenly came alive.

Their roots grow larger and thicker, drawing energy from the soil, their stalks grow larger, and their open leaves serve as hands and feet.

The female flowers swing to act as antennae for communication.

The male flowers of the corn in the front row matured quickly, and the corn kernels were shot out one by one, with a firing speed no slower than that of a machine gun, hitting the stone statue.

The statues didn't react, nor did they even stop.

The rumbling of uniform footsteps was the mockery of the God of War to Martin.

Hey!
Martin snapped his fingers and the sun shone across the cornfield.

The tassels on top of the corn rustled, continuously absorbing power from the sun and the earth.

clap clap clap...

The corn machine gun fired bullets again, hitting the stone statue. The divine power contained in the corn kernels exploded directly and penetrated the hard stone statue.

The corn in the back row grew into a lump, which was launched out like a cannonball, drawing an arc and landing in the middle of the stone statue, knocking it to the ground with debris flying all over the sky.

Sir, times have changed!
Even if you are a magical creature, you must keep up with the times.

Although it was difficult for the corn soldiers to move, their firepower was strong enough. The golden corn kernels were densely packed, and the firepower network spread from near to far, slowly covering the pyramid and everything around it like raindrops.

Although the stone soldiers made by the God of War are hard, they are as fragile as corn stalks in the face of divine power.

Those stone soldiers who were still holding melee weapons had no ability to resist in the fierce bombardment and were directly blown into pieces all over the ground.

After the first batch of stone soldiers were killed, the God of War finally wised up and replaced all the weapons in the stone soldiers' hands with bows and arrows. He used the pyramids as cover and passionately shot at the corn soldiers.

Relying on the long-range advantage of the bow and arrow, the God of War slightly recovered some of his disadvantages. He mobilized the power of discord and decomposed a large piece of corn as soon as he landed.

But Martin was not worried at all, because corn grows much faster than making stone figurines.

Under the power of the snake staff, the decomposed corn grew again in a few breaths and continued to pour fire on the pyramid.

For a moment, the two sides were in a stalemate.

Martin was not in a hurry. He sat down next to Diana, broke off a corn and started eating.

"We're at war, can you be serious?"

Diana was just amazed at Martin's magic, which could easily turn the delicate corn into a weapon of war.

But looking at him sitting on the ridge and chewing corn, I felt helpless.

"It's a positional battle, and there's no reinforcements. It's a fight of one breath. Whoever gets anxious first will lose. So relax. You must be hungry after all this time. Eat some corn!"

Martin broke off two more corns, forced one into Diana's hand, and threw the other to Barbara.

Barbara was observing the plants that fired corn cannonballs when something suddenly fell into her arms, scaring her so much that she jumped up.

"Don't be nervous, it's just corn."

Martin waved to Barbara and was about to say a few words of comfort when he suddenly smelled blood.

He turned his head to look at the pyramid. There were no more stone soldiers on the steps, but living people tied to racks.

“Those are…”

"They are all living people. These bastards really took great pains to do this."

Martin answered Diana's question first. "Cover your friend's eyes. The following scene is not suitable for ordinary people to watch."

Diana's face darkened and she quickly covered Barbara's eyes and turned her body away.

Thousands of living people on the pyramid were stabbed in the chest by an invisible force at the same time, and their hearts were grabbed and ripped out alive.

These hearts were still connected to arteries, which were bleeding and steaming.

The people on the altar wailed continuously, tortured by great pain, but the people who controlled their hearts refused to give these poor people a happy death.

This is the "blood sacrifice" advocated by the old gods.

The gods not only want people to worship them without reason and use human will to maintain their existence, but also use human corpses to achieve their own goals and enjoy the pleasure of controlling others.

The God of War constructed his own form using the pain and blood of mankind.

Even though his duties as a priest are heavily laced with conflict and tyranny, he is still a god of war after all.

When theocracy was weakened by the times and his tactics were no match for Martin, he finally got tough and wanted to use a fair duel as the end of his life.

"Fuck, you've already got a way to die."

Martin was not going to let this bastard get his wish, so he pulled out his snake staff, and his spirituality exploded, turning into a torrent that connected to the sun in the sky that was beginning to move westward.

The snake staff was thrown out, and a huge sun spear took shape instantly, striking directly at the body of the god of war, exploding countless thunders and evaporating the blood that was replenishing his body.

"You actually prevented me from gaining a physical form and engaging in a sacred duel?"

Martin rolled his eyes as if to say "Is there anything wrong with your head?", and the snake staff once again transformed into a sunlight gun, which smashed directly into the head of the God of War, making his ears buzz and his eyes black.

The God of War finally mustered up that little bit of courage, but was blasted to pieces by two blasts from the Sun Gun, and turned around to run away.

"Don't come over here. If you come over here again, I will kill those people on the altar. They will all die because of you."

"So, in order to honor these people, I will send you over there to accompany them. This is my atonement."

Martin was unmoved and fired another sun gun.

The God of War used his divine power to decompose the explosion of the sunlight gun.

But as he was exposed to the sky for too long, his divine power was almost gone, the blood sacrifice was not completed, and his body was incomplete.

Martin punched the mutilated form of the God of War in the face, pinning him to the ground, and punched the guy again and again.

boom!
After he threw hundreds of punches, the God of War's authority was weakened to the extreme. He had very little divine power left, and his body shattered. He followed the fate of the Demon God and left this world together.

Martin grabbed the last trace of the God of War's theocracy, and a magical message emerged in his mind.

This magic is called [Puppetry], which is the move that the God of War uses to make figurines. It only requires a string of runes and raw materials to continuously produce soldiers who completely obey his orders.

"nice one!"

Martin gladly accepted the legacy of the God of War, returned to Diana, and said to them: "This is the last one. As long as we kill the thing in the pyramid, today will be over."

Diana said immediately: "We have come so far with great effort, you can't just leave us here."

"of course not."

Martin chuckled and used the puppetry he had just learned to turn the corn around him into walking corn soldiers.

He said to Barbara: "Although the corn soldiers can no longer quickly replenish their ammunition without the soil, they can still protect you."

Barbara wanted to say something, but Martin waved his hand and led the two of them towards the pyramid.
