Chapter 402 You Understand Me

Chapter 402 You Understand Me (Please subscribe, read, and comment on the monthly ticket)
"Do you need me to teach you how to do it?"

Martin saw that Arthur didn't move and asked.

Arthur shook his head and stared at him and asked, "Why do I feel like you are mocking me?"

"If you leave out the word 'feeling', I'm just mocking you. There's nothing to be embarrassed about with such a simple thing. Just do it."

Martin started to mock Arthur mercilessly, which made Arthur frown but he had no choice but to start working obediently.

He closed his eyes and began to sense the force of life, concretizing the abstract concepts into concrete life activities, and then drawing strength from these activities.

In the past he had learned how to appropriate the forces of life activity to himself in order to increase his own fighting power.

But in this dark and silent sea, there was nothing else except microorganisms, and Martin seemed to be covered with a veil.

No matter how Arthur looked at Martin, he could only see the veil covering his body, and could not see anything more specific.

"Don't waste your energy. If even you could see through the secret of my changing identity so easily, I would have stayed at home and studied peacefully, and would not have come to this universe at all."

Although Martin did not use any mysterious power, he still felt Arthur's surveillance, reminding him to concentrate and not be distracted.

"You could be more tactful when you speak, and not be so blunt."

Arthur felt helpless about this and immediately turned his attention to himself and began to identify the characteristics of the Atlanteans.

He initially thought that he had to split his own abilities and then transfer them to Martin through some kind of abstract network.

When he really started fighting, he found that there was no need to do so. He simply copied his own state and crashed into Martin.

Although the principle is unclear, it is really that simple when you put it into practice.

Arthur reached out and patted Martin on the shoulder. The blue light penetrated into his body through his palm, and within 1 minute, his ordinary body began to transform into that of an Atlantean.

"Well done!"

Martin performed a few random movements, sensing the changes in his body, with Arthur passing on his experience to him.

He quickly mastered the characteristics of the Atlantean body, but still failed to gain recognition from the life force.

However, this is not a big deal for Martin.

"Om seems to have not found this place yet. It seems that he is indeed inferior to you!"

Before leaving the submarine, Martin used the submarine's radar to search the surrounding waters and found that the Atlantis fleet was still fighting with the Trench Tribe.

"I just want to get this matter resolved quickly. As for Om, let him fend for himself!"

When Arthur mentioned this name, there was no change in his expression, as if he was just talking about a stranger.

"A man like Om won't destroy himself. Even if he dies, he will drag others down with him."

Martin's opinion of Orm has always been low and has never changed.

"Let's go!"

He was the first to leave the submarine. The moment his skin touched the sea water, he did not feel anything special. It was just like a person living in the air and did not feel that there was anything wrong with the air.

The only problem was breathing. The way the Atlanteans breathed was very different from that of people on land. They were able to filter oxygen from seawater through their skin and lungs.

At first, Martin only used his lungs and was choked. After taking a few gulps of sea water, he learned to breathe through his skin and slowly stabilized.

"Don't try to fight the current, but use the power of the current to swim faster."

Arthur taught Martin the techniques of moving forward on the seabed and told him how to coexist with the sea water.

This was not a difficult task. After turning around a few times, Martin learned how to control the water flow and swam freely on the seabed like a fish.

"It feels good, let's go!"

Martin waved to Arthur, then rushed out quickly and headed straight for the huge canyon with a line of sky under the sea.

Arthur followed closely behind and soon surpassed Martin in speed.

But the two of them did not have any contempt in their minds at this moment. After entering the canyon, they felt that the sound was gradually moving away from them. The light in front of them became stronger and stronger, stimulating their pupils.

"Look both ways!"

Martin pushed Arthur's shoulder and told him to look to the side.

Arthur turned his head, startled.

The towering stone walls on both sides of the canyon are covered with pus-like protrusions, which are so dense that they almost cover the entire stone walls, making people shudder at the sight.

Arthur could speak, but he didn't, and only used sign language to express his opinions.

"It's full of sleeping Trench Tribe members. We just need to swim past them silently."

Arthur raised his right hand to his chest and slowly pressed it down, indicating to Martin that he had resolved the matter.

Martin responded with an "OK" gesture, and the two of them shook their bodies and used the power of the water to quickly and silently pass through the canyon.

The Trench Tribe on the stone wall was placed here for a reason. Martin believed that there must be some kind of warning device set up in this canyon, and as long as someone broke in, the Trench Tribe would be awakened.

But due to Arthur's interference, these trench tribesmen were all immersed in sleep, staying obediently on the stone wall without any movement.

It’s a pity that they have degenerated into wild beasts, otherwise they would be able to experience a few sweet dreams during their sleep.

"That's where we're going."

Arthur stopped first, pointing at the whirlpool that was running wildly inside the underwater mountain range, and said with a serious expression.

"The strength of this vortex is something I have never seen before. Even if the Atlanteans want to force their way through it, they will face the danger of being torn apart by the storm."

"But we are not ordinary Atlanteans."

Martin kept a smile on his face. He was well aware of the danger of this underwater whirlpool, but he didn't want to show the nervousness in his heart.

Secondly, if the two of them couldn't make it through this vortex, it would be even more impossible for others.

Arthur took a deep breath, and through the force of life, added the power of the marine creatures' life moments to himself bit by bit, preparing to cross the whirlpool.

"The life signal of the Trench Clan has begun to move downward. It seems that my brother did not gain nothing in the palace of the Trench Clan."

Arthur was trying to share the life force he obtained from marine creatures with Martin.

But this process was much more difficult than he had imagined. The energy flow process only had one extra link, which made the conversion efficiency several times more difficult.

"It doesn't matter. What can they do now that they have caught up?"

Martin kept a lot of things to himself.

For example, when Om sees Atlanna, it may not be a loving mother-son scene, he may also kill her.

This is not a fairy tale. If Orm abdicates now, a fate worse than death will await him.

Should he let himself die, or let Atlanna, who had been dead for decades in the eyes of the world, die?
As a king, it is not difficult to predict what choice Orm will make. Although Arthur does not care about his brother Orm, he is still worried about his mother Atlanna.

It's not that he didn't guess that something like this would happen, it's just that he was so concerned that his brain couldn't function properly.

"I'm ready, what about you?"

Martin gestured forward and Arthur nodded in response.

The two rushed out at the same time, leaving a trail of bubbles in the sea water and slamming into the whirlpool.

For a moment, Martin's eyes were stimulated by the strong light and tears kept flowing. The huge noise filled his ears, hitting the eardrum fiercely, tearing it and leaving two bloody marks, but they were quickly washed away by the sea water.

The vortex rotates in one direction, and although the force is dispersed, it maintains a balance.

When Martin and Arthur, as outsiders, tried to force their way into the vortex, they felt a tearing force coming from all directions, trying to tear them into pieces.

"I'm beginning to regret not bringing the Nautilus down with me?"

Arthur shouted as he held onto Martin's arm tightly, making sure they didn't separate.

Martin rolled his eyes. He was not as relaxed as Arthur. He tried his best to hold on, but every part of his body was still sending out signals that he was unbearable.

So when faced with Arthur's question, his answer was simple: he twisted his arm hard.

The meaning of doing this is very simple, which is to tell him to stop talking nonsense, quickly go to the center of the vortex, and not stay here any longer.

Arthur nodded, grabbed Martin and rushed towards the center of the whirlpool. He resisted the force of the whirlpool to tear a channel in the sea water and rushed towards the center with difficulty but steadily.

When he broke through a certain limit, the force that originally pushed them outwards suddenly changed. The big hole in the center of the vortex produced a terrifying suction force, sucking everything near the core of the vortex into the big hole.

The speed of these two forces changing was so fast that Arthur had no time to react and fell headfirst into the big hole in the center of the vortex.

The force that was originally tearing them from all directions suddenly shrank inwards, continuously squeezing Martin and Arthur's bodies.

If they had not been prepared before jumping in, they would have been crushed into a ball of flesh by the sudden squeeze.

Arthur was hit by the chaotic water flow, his body swaying and rolling in the whirlpool. He tried to steady himself and find Martin.

But the moment he fell into the abyss of the sea, a special force acted on him, forcibly closing his five senses.

In an instant, he lost all senses.

"Damn it, I broke up with Martin!"

With such regret, Arthur's perception of this world was forcibly cut off.

……

"Cough, cough, cough!"

When Arthur regained consciousness, his first reaction was that he had difficulty breathing. He could feel that his lungs were full of fluid, and no matter how hard he tried, he could not inhale any air.

His limbs began to struggle, trying to grab something so that he could exert better strength.

"Calm down and relax!"

When Martin's voice sounded, the girl felt like she was hit hard in the chest.

"vomit!"

Arthur jumped up from the ground, bent his body, and vomited violently. Sea water mixed with the food residue in his stomach sprayed all over the ground from his mouth and nose, emitting a sour and smelly odor.

"Relax, relax. I guess you don't have much experience with drowning!"

Although Martin's physical strength is not as strong as Arthur's, he has rich experience in how to travel through different spaces.

That huge underwater whirlpool is a special node connecting the two spaces. It is normal to encounter some special situations when passing through it.

Arthur had no experience. Even with the protection of life force, he did not want to resist subjectively, and it was difficult for him to resist these special mechanisms.

But when Martin was caught by the suction, he was prepared. However, before he could inform Arthur, the two of them were separated by the violent ocean current.

Soon Arthur vomited up everything in his stomach.

Most people would have drowned if they encountered such a situation, but the strong physical fitness of the Atlanteans ensured his safety, so that even if he encountered such a thing, he would only feel uncomfortable for a while.

"I've really embarrassed myself this time. I call myself the King of the Sea! I was drowned like this, and I have to rely on you to rescue me."

Arthur struggled to get up and looked at the filth on his body with embarrassment.

Martin looked around and pointed to the sea water not far away and said, "You can go there and take a bath."

Arthur quickly regained consciousness, saw the sea not far away, and walked over unsteadily.

Martin followed him and comforted him, "We are all friends and comrades. It doesn't matter if we know each other's embarrassing stories."

Arthur jumped directly into the sea, letting the waves hit his body and wash away the vomit.

He said depressedly: "I know I can't support this plan by myself, but I think I can at least find my mother. In the end, I still failed, and I still have to rely on you to save the situation."

"So, you are not a teenager. You should know that there is no such thing as fighting alone in this world. Those who think they can fight the whole world alone will end up in a miserable situation."

Martin knew that the reason Arthur blamed himself like this was that he was still worried about Atlanna.

He didn't want to face the worst outcome, so he transferred his emotions to Martin.

Because Martin will continue to support him, but the mother whom he has never seen since he was born may not do the same.

"You just haven't been exposed to magic, which is normal. I guess there are not many magic masters in the whole of Atlantis. When Bek Om led an entire fleet to force his way into the whirlpool, their fate would be even worse than yours."

With Martin's support, Arthur gradually calmed down.

He turned around, looked at Martin and said, "I'm scared. What if my mother doesn't agree with our plan? What should I do next?"

"If you want to know the result, why don't you just go find your mother? Why are you hesitating here?"

Martin put away his persuasive attitude and said firmly: "If you want the best result for you, you must take the initiative to fight for it. If you dwell on it here, it will only make the situation worse."

Arthur walked up the beach, sighed, and said, "But you're not going to change your stance, are you?"

"You know me well, so you shouldn't ask such questions."

Martin answered Arthur in a tactful way.

But Arthur calmed down instead.
