"Hades?"

The King of the Underworld appeared silently, without any earth-shattering momentum.

He was tall, about two meters tall in human form, with long curly hair that reached his shoulders, a thick beard, and a double-pronged fork in his hand. He didn't look anything special.

Martin recognized the king of the underworld at a glance. He placed his hands on Diana's shoulders and squeezed them gently to prevent Diana from losing control of her emotions.

"Martin, we haven't seen each other for a long time!"

Hades' voice was muffled, and he was also affected, not noticing anything was wrong.

"Has Zeus finally decided to go to war with me? If so, he should have sent Ares and Athena to attack my underworld."

Martin smelled a hint of anger in Pluto's cold voice.

This Hades is much more ambitious than the Hades I have seen before.

Martin secretly evaluated the Hades in front of him.

Because of the meaning of death, most gods of death are endowed with the meaning of being cold, ruthless, fair and just.

People in ancient times looked forward to a death that would be equal to all living beings and would correct the injustices they had suffered while alive.

Therefore, the gods who control the underworld have no desire for power. They care more about whether abstract and intangible rules are violated.

Although Hades, who was standing in front of Martin at this moment, looked calm on the surface, he talked about war as soon as he opened his mouth, revealing that his desire for power was very strong deep in his heart.

"Pluto, we are here for Queen Hippolyta's soul."

Martin went straight to the point and stated his purpose directly.

"Okay, direct enough!"

Hades glanced at Martin in surprise. He exerted his power but saw nothing from Martin. He couldn't help feeling worried.

His initial target was only Diana, who wanted to use this perfect weapon created by the Olympian gods to continue to maintain their authority in the human era.

He also expected that the Olympian gods would never sit idly by.

But he never expected Martin to come so quickly.

As the messenger of the gods, Martin's role is more than just delivering messages. In the many wars that Olympus has participated in, as the fire captain, he has used his wisdom to change the course of the war.

Hades is not afraid of a head-on confrontation.

Thunder and royal power will decline, and the sea can be known, but the mystery contained in the ultimate topic of death will continue in human society for many years.

So when the Olympian theocracy declined, Hades' power did not improve, but at least it did not decline.

But he was not satisfied with this and wanted to go further.

"Okay, great, I'm glad you came."

Hades' mind was full of thoughts, but he still praised Martin.

"Since you came to the underworld with this little Diana, it proves that you care about her or the queen very much."

Hades snapped his fingers, and the black flames of the underworld spread behind him. The soul of Queen Sibylle was bound with chains and placed in the flames. She was not tortured, but she could definitely not escape.

Martin used his right hand to hold down Diana who was about to rush out, and communicated with her through magic: "Don't be impulsive. Rushing over now will only hurt your mother."

Of course Diana knew this, but when she looked at her mother trapped in the sea of fire, her heart ached and she grabbed Martin's arm with both hands to prevent herself from losing control.

"What do you want? Just say it directly."

Martin really didn't want to engage in intrigue with Hades.

The two are now face to face. There is no point in playing that kind of language game after all. Now is the time to turn the cards.

Hades looked at Martin carefully and said, "As expected, he is an outlier among the gods. He is decisive enough!"

"Then I'll be frank. The underworld is too empty. I want more sunshine and warmer land..."

"Stop. I've heard enough of this old-fashioned declaration."

Martin had no reaction to Hades' words. After the other party finished saying the first half, he could guess the second half.

"Just tell me what you want, don't shout slogans. Do you expect Diana and I to surrender with a few slogans?"

After being retorted by Martin, Hades coughed awkwardly twice and said seriously: "I want you to go into the abyss and get something for me."

Hades paused, trying to create an atmosphere of mystery in order to seize the initiative.

But Martin didn't respond to him at all. He remained silent, staring at the king of the underworld with his bright eyes, waiting for him to finish his words.

Hades smacked his lips and suddenly felt very bored. Although Diana was staring at him with anger on her face, the hatred of Zeus' daughter did not give him any sense of accomplishment.

"The gods and Titans of the two generations of Ouroboros and Kronos who were imprisoned in the abyss of Tartarus could not withstand the changes of the times and died one by one."

"Now I will let you go into the abyss to see how many of those old guys are still alive, and you must bring me valuable power."

"Is that all you ask? You have people who can do this kind of thing. Why do you have to take such a big risk and lead Diana to hell?"

"This princess of Paradise Island is Zeus's last child. Since her birth, the Olympian pantheon has begun to weaken. For this reason, those old guys in the abyss will never take action against Diana."

Hades narrated all this with an expressionless face, looking confident.

But Martin knew that this guy was talking nonsense. Tartarus was one of the first gods in the Greek pantheon. It was his body that fell into death and gave rise to the current underworld.

It was for this reason that the first generation God King Ourounus and the second generation God King Kronos had no chance of escape after being thrown into the abyss.

The attack that Hades mentioned was less dangerous than that.

The real threat is actually the Tartarus Abyss itself. Even two generations of God-Kings fell into it and could not escape, let alone others.

As the perfect weapon created by the Greek gods, Diana can ignore this system in a sense and perhaps walk out of the abyss safely.

This is what Hades really values.

"You want me to risk entering the abyss and seize the power of the first two God Kings for you, but that's not possible. Let them go first, and we'll go right away after that."

"Do you think I'm a fool? If I leave it here now and you guys run away, I won't get anything."

Martin sighed and said helplessly: "Are you Pluto, or are you one of those petty traders in the human world?"

He stretched out his right hand and said cheerfully: "If you don't believe me, let's sign the contract right now."

"Martin!" Diana's eyes widened instantly and she held his hand tightly: "I absolutely cannot let you take such a risk for me."

Martin smiled at Diana and said, "Don't worry, I won't joke with our lives."

"Besides, I'm also very interested in the abyss that Tartarus has transformed into, so I'll just take it as a trip."

Martin paused, turned his head to look at Hades, his face instantly turned cold: "But the premise of all this is that you must release the person immediately?"

"Are you threatening me?"

Hades' eyes narrowed into slits, his voice was as cold as the strong wind in the underworld, and the black underworld flames jumped higher and higher behind him.

Martin smiled slightly, the double snake staff in his hand shone brightly, colorful light flickered behind him, a pair of white wings spread out, countless feathers fell like snowflakes, eliminating the black flames rushing towards him.

The two gods revealed their true nature at this moment, and the vast field was divided into two parts by their divine power.

Hades is in a rage and wants to use the rules of death to surround Martin and Diana and force them to sign a humiliating treaty.

He raised the double-pronged fork in his hand high, and the black flames surged like waves, almost rushing into the sky and turning into a huge black flame humanoid. In his hand, he also held the double-pronged fork made of flames and pointed it at Martin.

If it weren't for those old guys in the abyss, Hades would never have tolerated Martin.

But this guy is so ungrateful that he must teach him a lesson to relieve his hatred.

"We are no match for Hades!"

Diana surrendered verbally, but she drew the Vulcan sword without hesitation and pointed it at Hades, looking eager to fight.

Martin felt helpless when he saw Diana's war-crazy look.

He felt that Diana was a more suitable name for the God of War than Ares. At least Diana was braver than Ares.

But this is not the question that should be considered now. Martin constructed a large-scale divine magic with the double snake staff as the core and spread it outward.

The black flames that rushed towards Martin were instantly decomposed into countless pieces of information, turning into sounds or images and disappearing into the air.

Martin is the god of commerce, travelers, thieves and animal husbandry, as well as the messenger of the gods. To put it simply, he is the intermediary of information.

In ancient times, due to various conditions, this priesthood was nothing special. After all, it was very inconvenient to disseminate large-scale information at that time.

But now, the speed of information transmission is far beyond the imagination of the gods.

The Hermes on Mount Olympus could not realize what this meant, but Martin was keenly aware of the changes of the times and grasped the rapidly changing information age.

Soon, Martin turned Harris' first wave of attacks into virtual information, causing no harm and just looking scary.

Hades became furious when he saw that his attack did not cause any harm to Martin.

He wanted to launch a larger-scale attack. The giant transformed by black flames turned the double-pronged fork in his hand into a huge pillar that could connect the sky and the earth, and crashed towards the ground.

Boom!

The pillar of fire in Hades' hand fell to the ground, and a shocking explosion broke out without warning.

The entire underworld was shaking in the surging flames, like a small boat sailing in a storm, swaying as if it would be swallowed up by the surging waves in the next moment.

But Martin and Diana were not harmed.

Before the column of fire fell to the ground, Martin grabbed Diana's shoulders and transformed into countless information streams. Through various channels of communication, he escaped from the flames and traveled all the way to the trapped soul of Queen Hippolyta, trying to rescue her.

"Don't think about it!"

Hades's two attacks both ended in failure, and he felt that he could no longer save face.

He himself stopped temporarily, but the black flames burning around him burned even more vigorously.

Martin comes just a hair's breadth away from capturing Hippolyta's soul.

But just before he caught the other party, Hades suddenly retreated a few steps, took Hippolyta's soul away, walked into the black flames, and disappeared.

"Damn it, Mom!"

Diana watched hope approach and then suddenly disappear, feeling very disappointed, but she did not lose her mind and struggle randomly.

Martin reached out and patted Diana on the back, and the magic was activated. Diana turned into a paper airplane and flew away, directly avoiding the attack of fire.

Martin did not leave. He turned back into human form. The winged hat and shoes provided him with strength, allowing him to move and turn freely in the air, avoiding the splash attack of the black flame giant.

He raised the double-snake staff, and the two bronze snakes attached to the staff coiled rapidly. The power that could make all living things fall asleep spread, and the raging flames became docile and no longer hurt people.

The giant incarnated by Hades realized that something was wrong, and the accumulated power erupted prematurely like a volcano, turning into countless black meteors that fell from the sky, covering the entire underworld with the power of death.

"It's quite powerful, but the gap in this move is still too big!"

Martin shuttled freely in the meteor shower, and the breath of death symbolizing the end kept coming towards him.

The two pairs of white wings on his body continued to carbonize and turned into dust under death, but they continued to regenerate, providing him with strength to move forward.

Martin directly digitized his body and connected it to the endless ocean of information. No matter how many times Hades killed his body, he could regenerate tenaciously.

Hades has been away from the human world for too long. He knows that great changes have taken place in the human world, but he cannot understand what the various changes mean, let alone apply such changes to his own divine power.

He was confident that Martin would die under his divine power, and that was indeed the case.

As Martin got closer to Hades, he was killed hundreds and thousands of times, but he relied on his new understanding of divine power to come back to life.

boom!
Martin swung his double snake staff and hit Hades hard on the head.

Hades, who had no time to react, fell like a meteor on the land of the underworld. The black flame giant that connected the sky and the earth and the black meteor that covered everything all disappeared with Hades' defeat.

"Still fighting?"

Martin fell to the ground, shook off his necrotic body that had been eroded by the power of death, and used the power of information to weave a brand new body.

He said to Hades: "I am indeed no match for you, but you can't kill me either."

"The agreement I just proposed is still valid. As long as you release Diana's mother, I can still explore the abyss for you."

"Why do this? What can you gain?" Hades was fine, but just felt a little embarrassed.

"I am a kind god. Doing good things makes me happy. As for what you think or what the people who were rescued think, I don't really care."

Martin placed the double snake staff in front of him and asked in a deep voice: "Now it's your turn to give me an answer. Do you want to have two more enemies for the sake of face, or do you want to make the most advantageous choice for yourself?"

I became lazy when I got home, please forgive me!
