"So not only are we dealing with an alien invasion, but we're dealing with a bunch of aliens who are pretty much Superman-like?"

Batman almost thought there was something wrong with his ears.

He had already started investigating Superman.

With the ability of that cheerful and sunny alien boy, it is just one thing, and people on Earth may not be able to solve it.

Not to mention, ten, a hundred, or even more.

"The aliens that appeared this time are all transformed earthlings. I sent their photos and genetic test reports back to the Bat Cave."

Martin talked to Batman via video, and he didn't say anything like "everything will be fine". The other party was not a young man who needed comfort.

"Confirm their identities as soon as possible. Krypton is not Earth after all. Even if they have the technology to transform it, it will not be easy to replicate it on Earth."

Batman immediately said that he understood: "If the other party relies on themselves, they will always leave specific traces when they arrest people. If it is through Waller, there will be documents within the government."

"Leave this matter to me, you don't need to worry!"

Martin nodded, and suddenly said, "Yes, Amanda Waller is dead!"

Batman said helplessly: "So, you just remembered to tell me about this now?"

"It's not a big deal." Martin didn't think Amanda Waller's death was a big deal.

"There are so many people waiting in line for the next position. Do those hyenas really care whether Waller is dead or alive?"

"They certainly won't mourn for Waller, but they will definitely not let you go, you murderers."

While talking to Martin, Batman used the Wayne Group's information network to investigate the identities of thirteen people.

"What's the difference? Waller won't let us go if she's alive. Now that she's dead, her successor won't chase us as fiercely."

Martin had seen through everything long ago and didn't even care about Waller's successor.

He continued to contact others.

The first one was of course Barry. When this little sun saw that Martin had turned into a big golden rooster, his eyes widened instantly. He wished he could jump out of the screen, grab Martin, and rub him hard.

"Stop it! Curb your love for small animals!"

Martin said seriously: "We are in a big trouble now. Superman, their people, or aliens who can use their people's technology are preparing to invade. I need help."

"Alien invasion? So there really are aliens. Where do they come from? What do they look like? What energy do they use?"

Barry leaned in front of the camera and instantly fired off a barrage of questions.

Martin said nothing, just looked at him quietly.

Barry chuckled twice and then made a zipper motion with his mouth.

"No problem, even if aliens invade, I promise to be there whenever you call!"

Barry patted his chest without even thinking.

"Barry, are you crazy?"

Of course, the people at the Central City Star Lab didn't know about Martin, but when they heard that Barry casually agreed to join the battle against the alien invasion, they immediately started arguing.

Barry argued with reason, but was defeated by the opponent's numerical advantage and finally had to ask Martin for help.

"Their concerns are completely unfounded, so can I explain your existence to them?"

The members of Team Flash were not comfortable with Barry's hasty communication with superheroes, especially after Barry brought out Batman, Joe West and Dr. Wells in Reverse-Flash disguise became even more opposed.

Martin tilted his head and thought for a while, then asked, "How is Dr. Wells?"

Barry scratched his head in confusion. "Strangely enough, Dr. Wells' mental state is getting worse and worse. Several times, when we were chasing criminals, he almost fell asleep!"

This is of course the curse that Martin placed on Reverse Flash taking effect.

The curse took effect much faster than he expected.

He originally thought that Reverse Flash was a cautious person, and when he was unable to generate super speed force, he would lie dormant and wait until Barry grew up.

"If you trust Team Flash to keep a secret, tell them!"

Martin agreed to Barry and said to him: "After you convince your teammates, wait for my notice and don't act rashly."

"it is good!"

Barry simply gave an "OK" gesture and couldn't wait to show off his new friend to Team Flash.

Martin looked at Barry's childish behavior, shook his head, hung up the phone, and called Arthur again.

"Haven't you been a fish in the sea today, my friend?"

Martin saw Arthur through the video, surrounded by a calm ocean. He was lying on a dolphin with his upper body naked, wearing sunglasses and holding a straw in his mouth, drinking an iced drink.

"Haha, you are still playing the role of an animal today."

Arthur pulled down his sunglasses with his right index finger and laughed as he watched Martin turn into a chicken.

"Next time, I'll turn you into a fish too."

Martin used his wings to draw the image of a middle finger to express his contempt for Arthur.

"Let's get down to business. We are facing the threat of alien invasion and need your help. Is the Atlantis army still chasing you?"

Arthur was not as excited as Barry when he heard about the aliens. He just answered Martin's question: "At first, that bastard Orm sent his guards to trouble me. The army he led was also very difficult. After being defeated by me three times, Orm only sent ordinary soldiers, but it was still very annoying. I didn't even have time to go to the Trench Country to look for my mother's whereabouts."

"So you can come help?"

Martin's unromantic and direct question earned him a cold eye from Arthur.

"Yes, I can help you. But can't you care about me? I'm your friend!"

"When we meet, I will definitely take good care of you. Wait for my notification. Bye!"

Martin achieved his goal and hung up on Arthur without any hesitation.

"Scumbag!"

Arthur, lying on the dolphin, looked at the off screen, complained aggrievedly, then drank the drink in the cup and drove the dolphin towards the land.

"And finally Diana!"

Martin made his last call, but all he heard was a long waiting tone and no one responded.

"The Princess of Paradise Island you mentioned disappeared without a trace after her expedition to South America. I used all the resources of the Wayne Group, but still couldn't find her whereabouts."

Batman suddenly interrupted the conversation with Martin.

"All right!"

Diana's beautiful face appeared in Martin's mind, but he immediately shook it off.

"What did you find out?"

"Those thirteen people are all from a small town called Smallville, which is Superman's hometown if we remember correctly."

"That's right!"

Martin nodded, feeling that he had grasped the most crucial thread of this great mystery.

"I found this in those cyborgs."

Superman also rushed to Martin's side, holding a test tube containing a dark golden stone, and explained excitedly:

"The super powers of those transformed people all come from this stone. My father is studying the molecules of this thing. The second consciousness in those people's heads is indeed the consciousness of the deceased Kryptonians."

"That is the consciousness transfer machine that my mother developed before the destruction of Krypton. Its original intention was to transfer the consciousness of Kryptonians to other objects to avoid the crisis of Krypton's explosion. But only a very few people can endure the pain of transferring consciousness."

Martin and Batman's eyes instantly focused on Superman: "So, we can now be sure that the Kryptonian was the one behind this."

“There is no evidence at this time.”

Martin interrupted Superman's explanation, "Earthlings wouldn't be idle enough to install alien consciousness in their weapons. Although Brainiac has a collecting habit, he likes those races that evolved naturally, not artificially modified creatures."

"Moreover, what you are holding in your hand is Kryptonite. It is a stone formed when the star fragments underwent extreme changes when Krypton was destroyed. It has a miraculous effect only on Kryptonians."

Batman shook his head slightly: "I've already told you that no laboratory in the world has the substance you mentioned."

"Perhaps the stones sank beneath Smallville and entered the mineral layer?"

"Wait, what does this have to do with Smallville?"

Superman was completely speechless and hoped that Martin or Batman could give an explanation.

"Return to Smallville immediately and do not reveal your identity."

Martin spoke to the big man, then looked at Batman and requested, "You take charge of Superman and tell him what he should pay attention to?"

"No problem, but what are you going to do?" Batman looked at Martin.

"I want to sleep!"

Martin pointed to the dark sky and said, "The day is coming to an end. If you need help, find the Flash and Aquaman."
