"It happened!"

Clark was chatting happily with Martin when he suddenly slapped his head, took out his watch, took a look at it, and jumped up.

"I'm going to be late for work. Let's talk another time."

Clark turned around, changed into work clothes like a whirlwind, and was about to rush out.

"I will go with you."

Martin also changed into casual clothes in a flash, followed Clark, and said to him: "In a sense, I am now a vagrant, and there is nothing else to do except fighting evil."

Now that you are in Metropolis, how can you not meet the famous journalist, Lois Lane.

But then again, it seems that many superheroes' wives are reporters. Barry's childhood sweetheart, Iris, is also a reporter.

Clark scratched his head in embarrassment: "I'm just a low-level reporter. I don't have the authority to bring you along for the work."

"This is simple."

Martin took out his phone, activated his skill, and summoned the sponsor.

"Hello, Bruce?"

"Where have I been these past few days? Well, I first went to South America to fight the three evil gods, then I ran to Central City to be a speedster. Yesterday I turned into a fish and swam in the deep sea for a while, and today I'm in Metropolis as Superman."

"Can you please help me? Do you have shares in the Daily Planet?"

"Now you have it? Great, you are indeed a big capitalist, very generous. I will introduce you to my new friend someday. After meeting him, don't investigate him casually."

After saying that, Martin hung up the phone, crossed his arms, and looked at Clark proudly: "Now I am your new boss!"

Clark was stunned. His parents were just farmers and had never seen such rude behavior.

"Do you know the rich man in Gotham, Bruce Wayne?"

As they approached the Daily Planet, Martin and Clark slowed down and walked towards the building at a normal pace.

Martin looked at Clark's slightly disgusted expression and said with a smile: "I know Bruce has a lot of gossip, but that's just a disguise he puts on to the public."

"Under the playboy shell, there lies a tough warrior. Words are not enough. I will introduce you two to each other later."

"Okay, then I have to thank you."

Clark nodded and said, "Louise has always wanted to interview Bruce, but she has never been allowed to do so. If she knew this news, she would be very happy."

"Louise? That sounds like a female name. Is she your girlfriend?"

"Freeze said!"

Clark quickly covered Martin's mouth and made sure that no one around heard it before he breathed a sigh of relief.

"Louise Lane is a famous journalist who has won three Pulitzer Prizes. How could I, a young reporter from a Kansas farm, have a relationship with her?"

"Look at you, such a coward."

Martin pulled his hand away from Clark's mouth and slapped him on the back.

"She's a big reporter, but we're still supermen, no worse than her. Show some backbone and don't let these city people look down on us."

Clark straightened his back instantly, smiled bitterly and said, "Brother, can we keep our voices down and not shout out our secret identities in the street?"

"What are you afraid of?"

Martin said carelessly, "Before, you were alone, so you had to be careful with your words and actions. But now you have me as a friend, and I will introduce you to some superhuman friends in a few days. Let's form a team, and if anyone dares to provoke us, we will team up to deal with him."

Clark tilted his head and thought about that scene, with several superhumans flying around and beating up whoever they caught.

"Not good, not good. We should use our abilities to help others."

Although Clark said this, he still felt a little excited when he thought about that scene.

In the two years since he became Superman, he has encountered not only violent criminals, but also a group of wealthy people with brain problems who insist that his presence will make humans lazy. Well, it's pretty good to make some friends.

Next time you meet those unreasonable bastards, you don’t have to handle it alone.

"Hey Clark!"

Clark showed his ID to the guard and led Martin into the building.

With his status, although he couldn't take Martin to work, he had no problem going into the building and taking a few turns.

Martin didn't play any farce of the return of the Dragon King, and just followed Clark around the building obediently.

"Hey Clark!"

A man with orange-red hair waved to Clark, ran up to him quickly, and whispered, "Have you heard? Wayne Group suddenly took over most of the shares of the Daily Planet, and Wayne Group will send people to investigate our business."

Clark couldn't help but glance at Martin, but Martin didn't react.

"This is my friend, Jimmy Olsen. He helped me when I first joined the Daily Planet."

Jimmy smiled foolishly, and Clark pulled his sleeve before he reacted and shook hands with Martin: "Excuse me, the acquisition of Wayne Group is too important for us reporters. Without this money, the Daily Planet would probably go bankrupt."

With the rapid development of the Internet and smart phones, traditional newspapers such as Planet Daily have been greatly impacted.

Even with big reporters like Louise supporting the newspaper and trying to develop new business, the revenue of the Daily Planet is getting lower and lower day by day.

"No wonder Bruce was able to take over the shares of the Daily Planet so easily."

Martin muttered quietly so that no one could hear him.

After Jimmy learned that Martin had helped Clark a lot, he was very enthusiastic to take him to visit the Daily Planet.

The three of them took the elevator to the floor where the reporters were working on manuscripts. With a ding, the elevator door opened.

Perry White, editor-in-chief of the Daily Planet, and Lois Lane were standing at the door of the office building, seemingly waiting for someone.

Jimmy noticed that the two bosses' eyes were focused on him, and he seemed to hear a "thump, thump, thump" sound in his ears. His body trembled and he couldn't help but shrink back.

"Mr. Martin?"

Editor-in-Chief Perry took a step forward, stood at the elevator entrance, and asked.

"I am."

Martin pushed Clark who was standing in front of him, smiled at the dumbfounded Jimmy, and then shook hands with Perry.

"Although Bruce asked me to inspect the business of the Daily Planet, the financial aspects are handled by a dedicated accountant. I mainly want to see how you reporters work on a daily basis so that I can improve the business of the newspaper."

Perry smiled bitterly. He was a conscientious newspaper editor, but he had to bow to reality.

Although Martin looks young, he has seen more outrageous sponsors than this one.

"Ms. Louise Lane, I will follow you today to see how you, a great reporter, work."

Louise, who was hiding at the back, didn't expect that she was chosen and subconsciously wanted to refuse.

Perry quickly whispered to the ancestor: "I know you don't like others talking about your work, but this is related to the survival of the newspaper. I beg you to be patient."

Louise forced a smile and said stiffly, "I'm happy to serve Mr. Martin!"

Martin pretended not to see anything and pointed at the two people at the elevator entrance: "Clark and Jimmy, you two will be the coolies today and move the things!"

"let's go!"

Martin directly selected three people, and then, ignoring the astonishment of the editor in front of him, he was about to take them away.

Perry's eyes widened, and he was speechless in his heart: "As expected, he is a child from a rich family. He can do whatever he wants. He is really unreliable!"
