Chapter 7 Patrol Duties

Chapter 7 Patrol Duties

Fujiwara Mai politely handed a ticket to the private car driver.

"Okay, please drive carefully next time."

"So annoying, you two tax thieves."

The middle-aged driver was furious when he saw the amount of 18000 on the ticket. He lost all his salary for the day just by being careless, so he was in a good mood.

"You deserve to be the subject of a scandal and end up on the streets."

The car started again, and although the driver was very angry, the speed did slow down.

Fujiwara Mai saluted and watched the vehicle drive away, tears already welling up in her eyes.

"Senior, how can there be a job in this world where the harder you work, the more people hate you."

Naoki Hanyu patted the other person on the shoulder.

"You can't accept just a few words of nonsense. Your psychological quality needs to be strengthened. We, the grassroots police, are sandbags. Compared with the time we spend catching criminals, we will be sandbags for the public more. You will get used to it in the future."

Fujiwara Mai kept shaking her head.

"No, I don't want to get used to this kind of thing."

Naoki Hanyu spread his hands.

"Perhaps you can learn from my attitude and give a guy who looks annoying the most severe punishment. At most, he can only scold you a few times but can't hit you. Isn't that very satisfying? More than 2 is one to three days' salary for an ordinary person. Just thinking about it makes me hungry."

Fujiwara Mai took two steps back instantly, looking at her senior, who was a year older than her, as if she were a monster.

"Senior, this is totally unprofessional. I'm afraid you'll be beaten to death in the future."

"It would be best if you dare to hit me. This is an opportunity to boost your performance."

Naoki Hanyu does more than just issue tickets. If the person is the gray mist, he doesn't mind giving the other party a small gift. Otherwise, how could a mere policeman in a police station have so many merits to get a promotion?

The two men walked and talked, and soon caught a middle-aged woman riding a motorcycle in the wrong direction and issued her a ticket for 12000 yuan.

Seeing the woman leave in a daze, Fujiwara Mai felt even more reluctant.

"Senior, that auntie should have been happily buying groceries and waiting for her grandson to come home. We ruined her happiness today. This reminds me of the bad past."

"Oh, what's the past? Tell me about it and make me happy."

Fujiwara Mai's cheeks puffed up with anger, like a purple-haired hamster.

"That's too bad, Minister Hanyu."

"I apologize, but please tell me about your past."

"It happened when I was 9 years old. My father took my family out to play on a rare Sunday. Just when everyone was having a good time, a policeman suddenly jumped out and called my father away for more than 10 minutes. Later, he issued a speeding ticket of 15000. Our family's holiday was instantly over."

Naoki Hanyu tried his best not to laugh out loud. It was such a sad story. Fujiwara Mai, who was staring at someone, of course noticed someone's smile and immediately became even more angry.

"Senior, this is not a funny thing. It is a tragedy that makes the poor family even worse."

"Yes, yes, then why did you choose to be a policeman?"

"."

Fujiwara Mai hesitated for a moment before stating her reasons.

"Because my father was laid off and our family was in financial difficulty, I wanted to have a stable job as a civil servant in the future, and the police was the only job I had passed."

Naoki Hanyu finally couldn't help laughing out loud.

"Hahaha, Fujiwara, you almost made me die of laughter. You are the only one who could pass the exam. You are so bad. Hahaha, you made me die of laughter. Go buy me a bottle of hot coffee and I will forgive you." Fujiwara Mai's defense was immediately broken. Is it so bad that a useless person wants to be a civil servant to get by?

"I won't go. You are harassing me in the workplace."

Hanyu Naoki quickly stopped laughing. The newcomer, Fujiwara Mai, was really interesting and could bring fun to the boring patrol. But joking aside, he still fulfilled his responsibility to lead the newcomer and taught her a lot of patrol knowledge.

This is how Director Kurosawa Ryo taught him when he was also a newcomer a year ago. A competent senior can help the junior avoid many detours.

As they were walking, the figure of a middle-aged man suddenly caught Hanyu Naoki's attention. He had a gray aura, was wearing a dark blue nylon work suit that didn't look dirty, was carrying a backpack, and his shoes were estimated to be around size 4344.

The more Naoki Hanyu looked at the middle-aged man, the more suspicious he became. It really matched the clues of a case in his jurisdiction.

The two men slowly approached each other, and when they touched, Hanyu Naoki pretended to accidentally knock the other person down, then showed a panicked expression and helped the man up, and his left hand inadvertently touched the other person's backpack.

"I'm really sorry sir, I bumped into you by accident."

The middle-aged man showed a simple smile.

"It's okay. You guys have worked hard on patrol."

The words "thank you for your hard work" moved Fujiwara Mai so much. This was the first time she heard such beautiful words of comfort today. The uncle was such a good person. However, what happened next stunned her.

Because the senior who had just been apologizing non-stop suddenly grabbed the middle-aged man's arm and said lightly.

"Please come to our police station."

The middle-aged man's body stiffened and he responded with a forced smile.

"That's not necessary. I'm not injured."

"No, I suspect you're the suspect of a series of thefts. Your shoes are the same size as the shoe prints left at the crime scene, so I just went back to make a comparison. And I just felt something like a crowbar in your backpack, so please cooperate with me."

The middle-aged man was speechless for a moment and wanted to struggle, but the other party's grip on his hand was too strong.

This scene completely stunned Fujiwara Mai. She thought her senior was just an old fox who bullied newcomers, but she didn't expect that he could catch a serial thief in just one trip. This was a great achievement.

However, no one would have thought that a middle-aged man with a simple appearance and good acting skills would be a big thief who committed 53 crimes.

"Uncle, did you really commit 53 crimes?"

The middle-aged man could only smile bitterly at this. He was still scouting the area when he was suddenly caught. No one would be in the mood to chat.

In the Hanaka Police Station, Naoki Hanyu brought back the criminal and attracted a lot of attention.

"Captain, this gentleman is a suspect in 53 serial burglaries. I want to use Room 1 for interrogation."

Kurosawa Ryo was stunned at first, then shouted enthusiastically.

"You are worthy of being our Tiger among Feathers. You even caught the criminal that the Criminal Division has been looking for for months without catching."

Naoki Hanyu asked the criminal to go in and sit down, then looked helpless.

"Please, Chief, please don't mention the title of Tiger among Feathers. People will laugh if a police station has a tiger."

"Just be humble. Fujiwara will contact the Criminal Division to come and pick him up. The suspect will be handed over to you, Naoki, for interrogation."

Hanyu Naoki stopped him.

"No, I plan to let Fujiwara interrogate me this time. This uncle is just right for the newcomer to practice with."

"I come?"

Fujiwara Mai's eyes widened immediately. She didn't know how to interrogate someone, and just as she was about to refuse, Hanyu Naoki pulled her into the room, and this was the first time in her life.
