The first award presented was for Best Supporting Actress, which Juliette Binoche won for her excellent performance.

The English Patient got off to a great start.

The winner was Cuba Goldin Jr., a Black actor.

I hope my experience can inspire all those striving towards their ideals and goals. While we strive, we should firmly believe that as long as we have goals, perseverance, and are willing to work diligently, success will draw ever closer, and you might be the next person standing here, enjoying that success.

Before he could finish speaking, thunderous applause erupted from the audience.

Link smiled gently, "Finally, I would like to thank all my colleagues in the crew for their dedicated work, which turned this script from words into wonderful images. Harvey chuckled.
