Chapter 8 Drifting Cemetery
Bai Shi walked forward and stood shoulder to shoulder with Hakan.

The end of the trail is in front of us, and there is a huge space in front, which we need to jump down to reach.

Countless coffins are scattered randomly on the ground, and the tree roots entwined on them tell of the antiquity of this place.

In the distance, a golden sapling emitted golden light, illuminating a path.

The stone bricks are paved into steps, extending upward to a desolate and lonely ruined door. Four statues of handless women wearing veils are arranged on both sides of the steps, as if they are guards examining the visitors.

"This place is an old cemetery, there's no doubt about it."

Hakan said affirmatively.

"The cemetery is very dangerous. There are various stone statues guarding it, and some of them have dead borns that are impossible to kill."

"If it was a normal day with just two of us, I would never go into the cemetery."

"And as far as I know, there won't be another exit in the cemetery."

"But we have no choice now but to go in and try our luck."

Listening to Hakan's pessimistic words, Bai Shi was delighted.

Because I'm too familiar with this place.

Although the teaching cave for gameplay is gone, the terrain and scene here are very unique. This is the first place you arrive at after leaving the Chapel of the King in the game - the Drifting Cemetery.

This cemetery can be said to be completely safe because it is just a passage leading to the cemetery of heroes deep in the border.

Bai Shi finally understood that this was the meaning of the drifting cemetery.

After falling from the Chapel of the Kings, he came directly to the gate of the closed Drifting Cemetery, which was obviously unreasonable.

In the game, the scene where the player drifted to the beach and then came to the drifting cave was deleted.

There is indeed a place in the game where you can walk through the cave from the beach to the drifting cemetery, and that is the ancient ruins by the sea.

It all made sense.

Bai Shi suddenly remembered that there seemed to be something that could be picked up in this place, although he couldn't remember what it was.

"Hakan, there seems to be something nearby, please help me light it up."

"Hmm? Where?"

Bai Shi pointed to the place that the light from the torches could not reach.

Hakan extended the torch forward, and a skeleton appeared before the two men.

The clothes on the skeleton had already rotted and disintegrated, but something on the body reflected light in the fire.

Hakan stepped forward and picked up the thing from the dry bones, looked at it carefully for a while, and then threw it to Bai Shi.

"Hey, you don't want it?" Bai Shi saw the thing clearly, and a line of small words told him what the thing in front of him was - the Holy Dragon Emblem Amulet.

"I have already collected enough money. Here I give it to you. This should be a talisman that can resist some kind of power, but the effect should not be very strong."

Bai Shi was a little surprised that this guy could even ask for more money and was actually quite generous at a time like this.

Bai Shi did not refuse. Although this thing was useless and he had never wanted it originally, he was just a collector. But since the other party gave it to him generously, he just accepted it.

After making sure that nothing was left out, the two men jumped down one after another, followed closely by the White Wolf.

When it came to the warhorse's turn, things became a little difficult. Horse legs are very fragile and it is easy for them to break bones if they jumped from such a high place.

So the two men reached out to catch the warhorse from below, and finally managed to get the horse to the ground safely.

There was nothing to explore in the rest of the place, so they just looked around for a hidden exit, but when they found none, they returned to the entrance of the Drifting Cemetery.

The burnt-out candles on both sides and the watching female statues put a lot of psychological pressure on Hakan.

"This place looks like a cemetery of high standards. We have to be careful."

Bai Shi nodded pretentiously, with an expression as if he was facing a great enemy.

Hakan walked forward and pushed open the long-sealed tomb door.

The cold white candles burned slowly, dividing the cemetery and the outside world into two worlds.

Spider webs were everywhere and dead bones were scattered about.

Hakan carried his scimitar and moved forward cautiously.

But after walking for a while, we arrived at the next courtyard, but we didn't see any mechanisms or stone statues guarding it.

One side of this courtyard is shrouded in fog, and there is a small gargoyle statue in front.

Bai Shi knew that this was the entrance to the Border Heroes Cemetery, and that two stone sword keys were needed.

But what is more important now is that a bonfire emitting warm light appeared on the ground in front of Bai Shi - it is the blessing point.

Bai Shi walked forward and touched the warm flame with his hand.

It’s more like the residual heat under the lamp than a flame, warm and comfortable.

Bai Shi had a strange feeling. He felt that there was some mysterious connection between himself and the blessing before him.

"Bai Shi, what are you...doing?"

Hakan watched Bai Shi suddenly reach out his hand to touch something empty. He didn't know if Bai Shi had been bewitched by some evil spell.
