Chapter 21 Tailor Burke
"Hey - someone passing by, please help me!"

Bai Shi pulled Torret's reins and slowed down.

Looking around and seeing no one in sight, Bai Shi knew that he had arrived.

"Yes, it's you, please help me!"

Bai Shi was looking in the direction of the sound.

The owner of the voice began to get anxious.

"Why is everyone pretending not to see? Am I really that ugly..."

As he was speaking, Bai Shi had already found the withered yellow sapling hidden among the green trees.

"Snapped."

Bai Shi dismounted and struck the small tree with his palm.

"Oh! It hurts! What did you do all of a sudden? That's too much!"

A gray mist rose up, and a small figure appeared where the small tree was just now, lying on the ground with his face covered.

He wore a small leather cap sparsely decorated with feathers and a small garment draped over his body.

It is covered with hair, has long and sharp nails, and looks a bit like a big rat standing up.

"Are you asking for help? Weren't you a talking tree just now? How did you suddenly become a living thing?"

"Hmm? Oh, that's right, because I was cast into a tree by magic."

Burke finally reacted.

"So you were here to help me break the magic. I'm sorry, I misunderstood you."

"Thank you, my name is Burke, you really helped me a lot."

Burke searched his body for a long time, and finally took out 10 thick mushrooms and handed them to Bai Shi with both hands.

"I was not welcomed by my fellow cavemen and was driven out of the cave. All my belongings were robbed. I can only repay you with this kind of thing... I am really sorry."

"It's okay. I don't help others for reward."

Bai Shi waved his hand and did not accept the mushrooms.

"Oh, please, please accept it, otherwise I will feel uneasy. My mother has always taught me to thank those who have helped me."

Burke said pleadingly to Bai Shi.

Bai Shi couldn't persuade him and had to accept it.

Seeing Bai Shi accept the thank-you gift, Burke was visibly happy.

"These are not enough to repay you for saving my life. If it weren't for you, I would have stayed here forever. Please wait for me for a while. I want to sneak back to the cave and get something important. Then I will be able to help you."

"But you just said that you were driven out. Wouldn't it be dangerous if you go back like this?"

Burke seemed to recall the days when he was bullied and shuddered all over.

"Well, I am still very scared. My legs tremble when I think about it, but there are important things of mine there. I have to get them back."

Bai Shi knew that it was his mother's relic, but unfortunately he had something to do now, otherwise he could go with Burke to save Burke from getting beaten up again. After thinking about it, Bai Shi planned to come back to Burke after a while and take him to get the relic back.

"How about this, you wait here for me. I have something to do right now. I'll come back and go with you when I'm done."

"Hey, you don't have to do this. It's really too much trouble for you."

"It's okay, it's settled, we'll set off next time we meet."

After saying this, without waiting for Burke to refuse, Bai Shi got on Torret again and continued along the road.

After Bai Shi left, Burke looked at Bai Shi's back with emotion, and muttered to himself as if to encourage himself:

"Oh, you are a very kind man, but I cannot accept more of your kindness."

"I will definitely be able to take back my mother's belongings by myself. When the time comes, please let me follow you and be your tailor to repay your kindness."

Having made up his mind, Burke set off according to the direction he remembered.
-
"Is this going to be alright? I still like Burke in the game, so it's good to get beaten less."

Bai Shi thought.

Suddenly, a small gadget on the roadside attracted Bai Shi's attention.

It was something that looked like a telescope and was placed on the grass beside the avenue.

Bai Shi hurriedly grabbed Torret's reins and stopped.

"This thing is..."

It looks like a bird's-eye view in the game, not sure, let's take another look.

"This is a bird's-eye view mirror. It has magic fixed on it. It allows you to see the surroundings from the sky with a bird's eye view."

Melina did not show up, but her voice rang in Bai Shi's ears.

Bai Shi nodded, it really was this thing.

Coming to the bird's-eye view mirror, Bai Shi dismounted and turned his eyes to the other side of the small hole.

Suddenly, a bird's-eye view appeared in the bird's-eye view.

"It turns out that the view from a high place is so vast."

Everything in front was clearly visible, and there were a few soldiers stationed scattered beside the bridge in the distance.

Bai Shi moved the camera and aimed it at different places. Behind him was the lonely city of Stonewell on the cliff, and on the left were tall golden trees and layered hillsides.

On the right was a huge lake, and Bai Shi knew that there was also a flying dragon that breathed fire.

Just when Bai Shi was having a great time, an unexpected situation suddenly occurred ahead.

Behind the bridge in the distance ahead, a large convoy appeared in sight.

"This is troublesome."
