Chapter 337 Myriad Transformations Ruyi Seal

Chapter 337 Myriad Transformations Ruyi Seal

"Huh?" Nan Rong felt like her brain had short-circuited.

On one hand, the pressure emanating from that face was too intense; on the other hand, she hadn't fully caught up with the other person's train of thought.

How did that completely illogical and unrealistic proposal get approved?
Judging from the Demon King's expression, he didn't seem to be joking. Had he lost his mind?
Or perhaps the so-called Cosmic Heritage Academy was formed by a group of people who are not quite right in the head?

"Ah, okay." Nan Rong heard herself reply, her voice slightly unsteady.

The Great Demon King, however, did not care.

"Pack your things and come back tomorrow," he said calmly, then hung up the phone.

"Tomorrow?" Nan Rong exclaimed, "Then let me out first! And how am I supposed to get back?"

The jade disc quickly returned to its original state, and naturally, no one answered these questions.

Nan Rong angrily kicked the jade wall a few times, only to find that she couldn't do anything to it—yes, this was a dreamlike place, and the most urgent thing was to leave as soon as possible.

She contacted Deacon Zhou again. He replied very quickly: "The method to return to the plane is very simple. I can guide you in place of the Dean."

"If you want to leave the Myriad Transformations Palace, you can only do it on your own."

"Fine," Nan Rong said dismissively. "The method tells me—I can go back directly from here."

“That really won’t work.” Deacon Zhou said with difficulty, “The Wanhua Palace cannot complete the interdimensional teleportation. It can only be done after you leave. To be honest, I was fortunate enough to go in and train before, and it took me three months to figure out the key and successfully come out. So please don’t rush, just take your time.”

“But the Dean gave me a deadline,” Nan Rong said helplessly.

"How much time did he give you?" Deacon Zhou asked curiously. "You are far more talented than me. You might be able to leave smoothly in just one month."

"Tomorrow," Nan Rong sighed, "So, Steward Zhou, could you perhaps give me a little hint, considering our friendship?"

"Impossible, right?" Steward Zhou said in astonishment. "Who could comprehend the mysteries of the Myriad Transformations Palace in such a short time? Moreover, such things can only be understood intuitively and cannot be explained in words. If you understand, you understand; if you don't understand, there's no point in giving hints."

He suddenly turned serious as he said this: "I understand now. The Dean has high hopes for you. You must work hard to live up to his earnest expectations!"

High hopes, expectations? He probably has ill intentions!
Nan Rong muttered to herself, gave a perfunctory reply, and then cut off the communication.

Spatial teleportation was ineffective; the palace gates and the surrounding high walls were all protected by restrictions. She tried everything she could, but she was unable to leave.

Nan Rong searched every corner of the palace but still couldn't find any key mechanisms or secret passages.

She then placed her hopes in her own mental world, trying to create an escape route through her imagination.

However, the result was disappointment, disappointment after disappointment.

Nan Rong was furious, so she simply imagined various scenes in her mind, causing the environment around her to change constantly.

Then she stopped.

Because she suddenly realized why she had to do exactly what the Great Demon King said.

He said he'd be going back tomorrow, so why should I rush to catch up?
He's the one who locked himself in this godforsaken place. Even if he can't get out, it's not her fault. Why not relax a bit while there's nothing to do?
With that in mind, she changed the surrounding environment to a lakeside meadow, where she sat under a makeshift pergola, humming a song and eating barbecued fruit and various snacks.

The food tasted incredibly realistic, just as wonderful as she remembered. Nan Rong ate with great relish, gradually forgetting all about the great demon king and the mission of evolution.

A gentle breeze blows, and a hearty meal makes me sleepy.

Nan Rong lay drowsily in the rocking chair that had materialized, her eyes lowered, but a sudden chill ran through her, and she abruptly opened her eyes.

On the barbecue table, a small monster had appeared out of nowhere and was happily devouring the grilled meat. Its body was smooth as jade, and it was square-shaped, except for eyes and a mouth on one side of its square face.

"Don't just eat meat! This jiji fruit is also very sweet!" Nan Rong kindly reminded it.

The little monster suddenly stopped. It slowly turned its head, its two big eyes filled with shock and embarrassment at being caught red-handed.

After its initial surprise, it slowly, little by little, revealed a fawning smile, and then, taking advantage of Nan Rong's unpreparedness, turned around and jumped into the lake.

Unfortunately, the escape failed this time, because Nan Rong suddenly had a net in her hand and caught it in one go.

Two fingers reached out and picked up the square little monster.

"Can it talk?" Nan Rong asked, looking into its eyes.

The square monster hung its head dejectedly, its eyes and mouth instantly shifting to the square behind it, remaining silent.

Nan Rong wasn't angry, and asked the questions one by one:
"Did you conjure up this Myriad Transformations Palace?"

"What are you?"

How can I leave?

"Aren't you bored staying here? Do you want to go out and have some fun?"

The square monster didn't answer any of the previous questions, but it suddenly reacted when it heard the last sentence.

Its eyes and mouth returned to the original square, facing Nan Rong directly.

"Can you really take me away?" it asked, then deflated.

"Sigh, what am I thinking? Even if you're different from the other students, the Dean won't let you take me away."

"Dean?" Nan Rong looked at its shape and asked, "Are you his property?"

"Hmm." The square monster nodded. "Have you heard of the Myriad Transformations Ruyi Seal?"

"No."

"I guessed so. Everyone in the academy only knows about the Myriad Transformations Palace, who would remember the name Myriad Transformations Ruyi Seal?" The square little monster, having been cooped up for too long, couldn't help but complain to Nan Rong:
"You know that jade mountain outside, right? I was originally a part of it. But when the dean was refining it, he thought it was too big, so he casually cut off a piece and made me. Then he left it here, turning it into a training ground for outstanding students."

"He has very few outstanding trainees, and they are all incredibly rigid and boring. I'm already fed up with this place!"

"I really want to travel to all those strange and wonderful dimensions!"

Nan Rong's eyes darted around a few times, her voice soft and gentle: "It's all about human effort. Why don't you give it a try?"

"Those delicious foods were just the most ordinary food in my world. If you follow me, I guarantee you'll live a life of luxury from now on."

"Can"

"If I'm not afraid, what are you afraid of?" Nan Rong squinted, coaxing him gently.
"You must have seen it before, right? I have a very close relationship with the Dean. If you come with me, he might not care—and even if he does, the one who will suffer is me, the one who forcibly took you away. At most, you'll just be sent back. What could you possibly lose?"

The square little monster's eyes lit up: "You're right!"

"You took me away, I was powerless to resist!"

"Come on, hurry up, let's not waste any time!"
