The Great Way to Truth, Starting from Jiazi Laodao

Chapter 54: Innate Essence, 1 Point of Hunyuan True Meaning

Chapter 54: Innate Essence, a Bit of Hunyuan True Meaning

The bright moon is under the dark sky, and the golden crow is in the blue sky.

The next day, Xuanming went to the Taoist Temple. After refining the purple energy of the morning sun, he opened his eyes and looked out at the fiery red sun in the eastern sky. He was in a good mood.

Yesterday's discussion on Taoism made his practice better; after digesting it last night, he made further progress. When he can completely apply it to himself, his practice will be improved again, and he may be able to glimpse even more of the innate mysteries.

If this is the case, we will be more confident in discussing the Dao next year.

The Xuanming Society made an agreement to discuss Taoism because Taoism and cultivation are different and not completely the same.

The two are like roots and trees. Taoism is the root and cultivation is the tree. Deep roots do not necessarily mean a lush tree, but a lush tree must have deep roots. In other words, Taoism is the depth and cultivation is the height.

It is high and prominent, grows upward, and can be seen.

Hidden deep inside, extending downward, it is difficult to be discovered.

But depth determines height, just like a skyscraper rising from the ground, a three-story building may have five floors of foundation.

Of course, everything has its limits, otherwise there will be an imbalance.

Qi training is a great realm, which sets an upper limit. The imbalance between Taoism and cultivation cannot cross this line.

In half a year, relying on his own understanding and the blessing of Huangting Taoist energy, Xuanming is confident that he can improve his Taoism to the level of innate perfection, or even the golden elixir realm.

Even if it is revealed when discussing Taoism, the risk is not great, because the level of Taoism is mainly linked to the strength of comprehension. It can not only avoid physical action and not arouse people's associations, but also reduce the risk of exposure of the Hunyuan Foundation Establishment Method, and solve problems. It can also gain more experience in Qi training and Taoist scriptures, accumulate materials for him to create methods, and kill two birds with one stone.

It would be even better if Xuanming could create the innate chapter of "Hunyuan Yiqi Jue" and advance to the innate realm before the beginning of next spring.

Even if the worst situation happened afterwards, and a Jindan Zhenren broke the rules and attacked secretly, he would not arouse too much suspicion if he fought back openly.

Because of this, Xuanming devoted himself more to the practice of enlightenment in the following years: comprehending his experience, digesting what he had learned, practicing sword skills, practicing calligraphy, cultivating talismans, and reading scriptures to gain enlightenment...

His life was fulfilling and busy, busy but at peace. He focused on experience and enlightenment, and the cultivation of magic power and supernatural powers was secondary. After all, things had their priorities and the primary and secondary were clearly distinguished.

No matter how busy he was, Xuanming would stroll through the mountains and forests every morning and evening, observing the sky and the earth, paying attention to all things and learning from nature.

See the green cow lying in the flowers, see the white crane perching on the tall pine, mountain fruits falling in the rain, and insects chirping under the lamp.

---

Time is quiet and years are peaceful.

Seven days later, a thunderstorm just stopped.

The mountains are filled with vapor and the air is humid.

In the semi-light and semi-darkness, on the Cangdao Peak, a white-haired old Taoist sat cross-legged on the mountaintop. His peach wood sword flew back and automatically rested across his knees. His whisk fell and returned to the palm of his right hand. After comprehending a thunderstorm, Xuanming did not get up and leave as he did in the past. Instead, he looked up at the sun and the moon without looking away.

The moon sets in the west and the sun rises in the east.

Looking at the scene of the sun and the moon in harmony, he had an idea and started to practice the Hunyuan method, attracting the purple energy of the sun and the moonlight of the moon.

When the two energies merged into the Xuanguan and were injected into the Sun Talisman and the Moon Talisman respectively, the two talismans, which had been motionless since entering the Niwan Palace, finally began to change.

Runes flow and auras interact.

The sun character and the moon character shine independently.

The two talismans placed on the left and right sides of the "Huangting Waijing Jing" produced an attraction and slowly approached.

This change lifted Xuanming's spirits. He observed and contemplated it attentively, and was soon enveloped by a mysterious aura.

In the dark and mysterious Niwan Palace, the distance between the two talismans shortened and turned into a day and a moon.

The setting sun and the new moon, the waning moon and the rising sun, the rise and fall correspond, the rise and fall are orderly, the sun and the moon cycle, the day and night alternate, the past and the present connect, and echo each other.

Finally, the Sun Talisman and the Moon Talisman met above the Huangting Waijingyujing. After seven rotations, the two half-talismans merged into a complete talisman, and the Ming character reappeared. The aura was obscure and the weather was mysterious.

Day and night are no longer distinct, and the contrast between light and dark is strong.

If the "Huangting Sutra" is not counted, the area around the Ming character is dim and chaotic, deep and dark, and the entire Niwan Palace has become dark, as if the lights were turned off. It is mysterious, silent, and terrifying.

But the next moment, the bright character glowed, and it became the only source of light in the darkness.

If darkness is like a river, then the character for light is an isolated island in the river, the only exception, bringing hope, warmth and peace.

Witnessing this scene, a flash of inspiration came to Xuanming's mind, like a comet sweeping across the night sky. He vaguely realized something, but when he thought about it carefully, he found nothing.

Fortunately, he has an open-minded personality and did not force it. Since he had been here before, he would most likely come again in the future. Some things will happen once and for all, and he did not catch it just now, which means that he is still lacking in some aspects and it is difficult for him to grasp the relevant insights.

if I get it I am lucky, but if not, it is fate.

Fortunately, there were other gains.

Xuanming focused his mind and concentrated on understanding the mystery of the Ming character. His understanding of the Yin and Yang gradually deepened, and he even saw a hint of the true meaning of Hunyuan in this character.

Bright is when the sun and the moon move together.

The sun is daytime and is yang, and the moon is nighttime and is yin.

When combined, they become light. There is no cycle of day and night, no separation of yin and yang. Water and fire are in harmony, light and darkness embrace each other, and they are born and die together.

The bright one is round and becomes the only bright spot in the darkness.

Xuanming tried to inject a trace of Huangting Qi into the Ming character, and like water dripping into an oil pan, the Ming character suddenly boiled.

---

In the silent darkness, a dot shone brightly, and the light and darkness collided, causing a huge explosion.

A three-foot illusory world was born in the explosion, and a bright world was born from the darkness. The darkness squeezed the world, and the little light that filled the world suddenly separated and turned into yin and yang energies, giving rise to the sun and the moon.

Yin and Yang suppress darkness, and every time the sun rises and the moon sets, the world's barriers become a little more solid, and the heaven and earth become a little brighter.

The sun is the yang, it opens and closes greatly, so when it appears it covers the darkness and the world is bright; the bright moon is the yin, and still water runs deep, so when it appears it illuminates the night sky and there is light in the darkness.

Xuanming was shocked, and all kinds of insights into the truth came to him like a tide. Looking at the three-foot illusory world and thinking of the scene just now, his mind moved again.

The sky and earth were shattered, and the three-foot illusory world turned into the character "Ming" again. The difference was that this time the character "Ming" emitted a faint light and became a black spot, while the surroundings were filled with light.

A trace of Huangting Qi was once again injected into the Ming character. In an instant, black spots exploded, and a black hole swallowed up the light. The three-foot illusory world reappeared in the interweaving of light and darkness.

Light squeezes out darkness, the sun and the moon are born, and the sky and the earth are dark. Every time the sun rises and the moon sets, the black sun blocks the light and the black moon dyes the light black.

At this moment, Xuanming's spiritual perception was particularly active and his spirit was very excited:
He got it!
Various principles are intertwined and various thoughts are surging.

It turns out that innateness is the essence of all things. Things have different origins and different innate natures.

Stone benches, stone tables and mountain peaks are essentially earth.

Bookshelves, beds, trees, flowers and plants are essentially wood.

There are many factors that influence acquired essence, but innate essence can only be determined by origin and is unique.

All things are difficult at the beginning. Once you realize this, it will be much easier to comprehend and digest the rest of the principles at a very fast speed.

Xuanming quickly knocked on the innate door and entered the innate realm, but he did not stop there. Although the speed slowed down, it was still improving. This was also related to his comprehension of some Hunyuan principles.
