The Great Way to Truth, Starting from Jiazi Laodao

Chapter 48: The Tao is beyond the physical world, and the thoughts are in the changing world

Chapter 48: The Tao is beyond the physical world, and the thoughts are in the changing world
In late summer, the weather is more changeable. It may be sunny in the morning and thunder and lightning in the afternoon.

Fierce winds, lightning and black clouds appeared, and there was a sound of rain in the tall forests. Gusts of wind swayed the grass and trees, and dense raindrops made the mountains muddy.

It was rare for Xuanming not to comprehend the experience of practicing Qi. He sat cross-legged on the top of the mountain, with his white hair fluttering in the wind and rain, experiencing nature up close.

The index finger and middle finger are put together, the sword finger is slightly rotated and raised, the peach wood sword placed horizontally on the knee hums, turns into a stream of light, rushes straight up to the sky, and places itself in the depths of the thunderclouds, continuing to be tempered by wind and thunder.

Xuanming waved his hand again, and the whisk in his hand was also thrown into the thundercloud, to be tempered by the thunder, mainly tempering the jujube wood handle, and then slowly transmitted to the three thousand silver threads, which was relatively gentle.

If a workman wants to be good, he must first sharpen his weapon.

Although he does not like fighting and hopes to live in peace and quiet and practice Taoism, the laws of nature are unpredictable and things cannot always go as one wishes.

Some things cannot be avoided just because you want to.

Therefore, Xuanming hoped that the protective treasure would be as strong as possible, so that he could protect others, himself, and the Tao.

After placing the peach wood sword and whisk, Xuanming took out two iron balls, large and small. They turned out to be the golden sword inherited from the Chen family, which he refined with the Hunyuan magic power and returned to its original state with the help of the power of thunder.

Xuanming was also thrown into the thundercloud by it. He already had plans in mind for this piece of Yin-Yang iron.

After doing all this, he concentrated on watching the wind, rain and thunder.

Unlike before, this time Xuanming closed his eyes, and his contemplation of the thunderstorm went from the surface to the inner self.

The spiritual sense flows like water, replacing the physical eyes and ears, observing the lightning, thunder, wind and rain within three hundred miles.

Watch the dark clouds roll and change, and watch the water rise and fall.

See the change in the energy flow between heaven and earth, and watch the grass and trees fall down and rise and fall.

Through spiritual perception, Xuanming perceives more.

The strength of the air flow determines the wind, and the cold or warm temperature determines the rain.

The collision of yin and yang produces thunder, and the harmony of heaven and earth produces lightning.

In essence, it is a mass of air that moves naturally, creates and transforms according to the laws.

This law is the Tao, the qi evolved from it is the principle, wind, rain, thunder and lightning are external manifestations, and are the concrete carriers of the principle.

The thunder and lightning became more and more violent.

Violent winds and rainstorms ravaged the mountains and forests.

On the top of the mountain, Xuanming's meditation was getting better and better. The Taoist aura on his body became thinner and thinner. Three feet around him, heaven and earth were in resonance, and scenes of thunder appearing and disappearing, and rain gathering and falling automatically evolved.

Xixin Peak, on the top of the mountain.

Xuan Yu, with a square face, was also listening to the thunder.

Different from Xuanming’s understanding of the transformation of wind, rain, thunder and lightning, he only took thunder among the four weather phenomena.

Keep calm and listen attentively to the thunder.

Listen to the sound of thunder and watch the light and shape of thunder.

This most serious Taoist in Qiuzhen Temple has a focused gaze and a pious expression, as if he is on a pilgrimage, pursuing the Tao.

On Fude Peak, Xuantong was also sitting cross-legged on the top of the mountain.

The difference is that he only watches the rain.

Look up and see the rain falling; look down and see how loud it is.

Rainwater falls on the mountains, nourishing all things, but after gathering into rivers it washes away the dust and rocks.

Nourishes the earth and destroys the earth.

But it never flows recklessly in all directions, but flows with the trend, looks down and stays steadfast in its heart.

Good and evil alternate, black and white are inclusive.

Xuantong gained a new understanding of the way of knowing and guarding.

---

After about an hour, the clouds disappeared and the rain stopped.

The peach wood sword, whisk and yin-yang iron each returned to their respective places.

The three-foot strange phenomenon returned to formlessness.

Xuanyu and Xuantong finished their practice and each gained something.

Only Xuanming still hasn't woken up.

The thunderstorm washed away the dust, the mountains and forests were cool and clear, and his spiritual sense flowed through them, giving him a different feeling.

The world is renewed and the universe is clear.

After the thunderstorm, everything seemed to be completely new. He entered another wonderful world.

In the rise and fall of air currents before and after a thunderstorm, you can feel the breath of heaven and earth. The rising air is exhalation, and the sinking air is inhalation. There are great truths, great scenery, and great creation in the breath.

If the heaven and earth are likened to a person, the mountains are the bones and limbs, the rivers are the blood vessels and meridians, the earth is the life, and the sky is the nature.

A thunderstorm is just a breath.

One breath is a baptism.

Qi circulates between sex and life, rising and falling, opening and closing naturally and harmoniously, flowing throughout the body, cleansing the internal organs, meridians, limbs, and orifices, flowing endlessly, circulating over and over again, endlessly, satisfying the Qi needs of each organ.

This cycle is one circle.

A thunderstorm is a movement.

One transport is a cycle.

Form a closed loop.

Tao gives birth to all things. Heaven and earth are the greatest of all things, and man is the most intelligent among all things. Seek the Tao separately, for man is the same as heaven and earth.

In this way, with divine thinking, one can see the big picture from the small: the Great Circulation is thunderstorm in summer, frost in autumn, wind and snow in winter, and drizzle in spring.

The cycle of wind, rain, thunder and lightning is the celestial body.

The physical change of water is the circulation of energy.

The alternation of four seasons is the cycle of life.

Xuanming and Xuanguang give birth to wisdom, and the heart of Tao becomes pure. A thunderstorm washes away the haze for him, and he sees freedom and harmony of body and mind.

It has been nearly four months since he became an immortal. He has listened to thunder and watched rain for nearly a month, and observed the practice of the Great Zhoutian by the Four Immortals and others for nearly a month, absorbing nutrition and nourishing himself. Today, he finally understands the mystery of the Great Zhoutian and realizes his own Great Zhoutian principle.

When the Tao is clear and bright, one’s practice of the Tao will naturally improve.

The spiritual inspiration of heaven and earth poured into Xuanming's body.

A strong wind blew in the mountains. A vigorous and powerful deer followed the wind and ran happily towards the top of the mountain, yo-yo-yo!
The sky was just as the sun was setting and the moon was rising. The yin and yang spirits were drawn down and surrounded Xuanming, forming an illusory yin-yang diagram.

His momentum increased dramatically, and he naturally opened up the last of the eight extraordinary meridians, forming a great extraordinary meridian circulation. His magic power increased, his body strengthened, and his spiritual perception refined.

Even four of the twelve main meridians have been pried open. Although they have not yet been broken open, they will be broken open soon. Once they are connected to each other, they will form a special cycle.

When his breath stabilized, Xuanming opened his eyes. In the depths of his eyes, there were images of wind, rain, thunder and lightning flowing, and the cry of deer reached his ears.

Looking at the galloping deer and the yin-yang diagram that was about to disappear, he suddenly had an idea and raised his finger and waved it lightly.

"go with!"

The Yin-Yang diagram rushed directly into the deer's mouth as it cried out with joy, and sank into its body as fast as the wind.

Little Deer: ???
What did I eat?

Before he could figure it out, she rolled her eyes, stuck out her tongue, fell to the ground and fainted.

With a light wave of the whisk, a stream of magical power was injected into the deer's body, sealing the Yin-Yang diagram and leaving only a tiny gap. Energy was slowly released, purifying its bloodline, improving its bones, and increasing its foundation.

He stood up and walked to the deer, looking at the yin and yang pattern growing on its soft fur. Xuanming stroked his beard and smiled kindly.

Standing on the top of the mountain, holding his dustpan, looking down at the beautiful mountains and rivers, he felt as if he had seen the truth, and his heart was relaxed and happy.

"The Tao is beyond the physical world, and thoughts penetrate into the changing world. All things contain the Tao, and all living things contain reason. It seems that I need to spend more time in the future to comprehend nature with my heart."

This time his Taoism improved, and his eight extraordinary meridians were opened up, which is equivalent to the perfection of the ordinary Zhoutian realm, which is achieved by observing nature.

Of course, his gains did not stop there.

But it is already late today, and Xuanming has no intention to verify it. He plans to go back to meditate, sort out his thoughts carefully, digest them well, and consolidate his cultivation. Perhaps he will gain something else.

There is no rush for the rest.

Waving his sleeves to put away the Yin-Yang Iron, Xuanming stretched out his finger and lightly tapped the peach wood sword. The sword hummed in dissatisfaction, suddenly became larger, and reluctantly carried the deer down the mountain.

The bright moon shines on the mountains and rivers, and the silver light pours down all over the ground, illuminating the Zangdao Peak. Water droplets are crystal clear on the leaves of the forest trees, and the puddles in the mountains are sparkling. The old Taoist is in front, with his wide sleeves fluttering, striding with his head held high, and the big sword is behind him, following closely and slowly.

The little deer lay on the sword with its limbs spread out, sleeping soundly, with bubbles popping out of the tip of its nose from time to time.

With a pop, it broke and regenerated.

The environment is quiet and the imagery is beautiful.

However, it is not perfect after all.

As soon as they arrived at the Taoist Temple, the deer's saliva flowed onto the sword. The peach wood sword, which had been enduring all the way, suddenly became violent and shocked the deer.

The old Taoist's laughter, the screams of the deer, and the joyful humming of the wooden sword intertwined into one piece, adding a bit of vitality to the Taoist temple.
