Chapter 256 Taiyi and Taiyi

Taiping Dao Palace.

The style remains as brilliant as ever.

Yellow is the only color.

Xuanming performed the rituals skillfully and sat cross-legged on the futon.

On the cloud bed, the Master of the Way of Peace opened his eyes, glanced at Xuanming, and slowly said, "This time, instead of preaching, we will discuss the Way."

Xuanming was overjoyed and readily agreed.

Discussing the principles is more rewarding than preaching them.

This is a consensus on spiritual practice that has existed for millennia.

He concentrated his mind and calmed his spirit, and a Dao image appeared above his head: a towering tree, a magnificent and imposing Dao tree.

The Master of Taiping Dao was slightly taken aback. As the leaves fall, autumn is known. Although the time that Xuanming Sanhua gathered at the top was short, his understanding of the Dao was extraordinary.

"Very good! Very good!"

With a smile and a nod, the Master of the Way of Peace released his own Dao image, a stream of primordial yellow energy flowing from east to west and from south to north.

It fills the heavens and the earth, and extends to all four directions.

The towering Dao Tree seemed as insignificant as weeds before this Xuanhuang Qi. The two Dao phenomena drew closer to each other, and the Dao Tree easily merged into it.

The primordial energy of Xuanhuang evolved into the universe.

The conventional understanding is that heaven existed before earth or that heaven and earth were born at the same time, but the Taiping Dao Master's understanding is also rare.

The earth is in front of the sky, and the sky is behind the earth!
The primordial chaos arose from the earth, and from the earth came the yellow sky.

Heaven and earth, yin and yang, purity and turbidity are all contained within the mysterious yellow.

Xuanming also evolved into Hunyuan Dao.

Heaven and earth, yin and yang, purity and turbidity are all contained within the primordial chaos.

The leader of the Way of Peace believed that Xuanhuang was supreme.

Xuanming believed that the primordial chaos was the greatest.

Both have similar yet seemingly contradictory understandings of many principles; they seek common ground while reserving differences, discarding the dross and retaining the essence.

The discussion continued to deepen.

Xuanming and the Master of Taiping Dao have gained a deeper understanding of each other's Dao. At first, Xuanming could provide some guidance, but now he can only watch as the Master of Taiping Dao expounds on the ultimate principles of heaven and earth.

He was like a sponge, desperately absorbing water and nutrients to strengthen his own Dao tree.

As one's spiritual cultivation grows inch by inch, one's inner strength deepens layer by layer.

Later, the primordial energy changed again.

Stretching across the sun and moon, running through the four seasons, and drifting along the river of time.

Past, present, and future!
A towering figure can be seen on each side.

The three figures in black and yellow form the three anchor points.

The primordial energy, using it as a bridge, lingered at the beginning of time, while the three figures merged with the primordial energy.

Upon seeing this, Xuanming's spirits lifted.

He recalled his experience of reading the "Huang Ting Zhong Jing Yu Jing" for the third time, in which he indirectly saw his past and future selves. Although it was fictional, he now realized that it not only helped him understand the supernatural power of time, but also served as a guide for him.

Unfortunately, he didn't grasp this meaning back then. But now, looking back, he has gained new insights and feels as if some of the fog has been cleared away, allowing him to see the direction of the Taiyi Path.

Taiyi is also known as Taiyi.

The fundamental law, the true essence of the Great Way.

---

Time flies like an arrow, and day and night alternate.

This debate lasted for three days and three nights.

Afterwards, the Master of Taiping Dao answered many of Xuanming's questions, resolving his doubts and questions.

After answering the last question, the Master of Taiping Dao said, "Young friend, the three-year agreement is coming to an end. This discussion is over, and you no longer need to come to Taiping Palace. There is only so much I can do; you must walk your own path."

Xuanming rose and bowed: "Three years of secluded cultivation have greatly benefited me. I will remember this kindness in my heart. If I am able to do so in the future, I will keep my promise and protect this world."

The Master of the Way of Peace smiled with satisfaction, thought for a moment, and continued, "Could you allow me to see the Yellow Heaven?"

Xuanming was slightly taken aback and did not answer immediately. Instead, he communicated with the Great Immortal Huangjiao of the Central Yellow Pole. After the Great Immortal agreed, he nodded and summoned the deity.

The leader of the Taiping Dao had bright, focused eyes and an unprecedentedly serious expression, with a look of delight on his face.

He stood up, rising solemnly. "This humble Daoist, Taiping, greets fellow Daoist."

The Central Yellow Pole Yellow Horn Immortal returned the greeting: "This deity, Yellow Horn, greets fellow Daoist."

Xuanming didn't disturb him. He left a message saying, "You two talk," then turned and left Taiping Dao Palace. He immediately used his escape technique to return to Daohai Palace, went to his residence on the third floor to meditate and digest what he had learned.

He wouldn't actively inquire about what the Taiping Dao Master and the Central Yellow Horn Immortal would discuss. If the Yellow Horn Immortal wanted to say something, he would know for sure. He wouldn't pry into it if the Immortal didn't say anything.

More than a month later, the tightly closed door was opened.

Xuanming came out and drank with the powerful figure he had spent three years with until they were completely drunk. He didn't leave immediately, but went to his rented courtyard, intending to spend his last year there before leaving.

On the first day of the twelfth lunar month.

Friends who have known each other for three years gathered together, including humans, demons, ghosts, monsters, and gods. They all gathered together, raising their glasses in celebration.

The powerful figure from Daohai Palace arrived uninvited and, after a joyous banquet, presented a wish-fulfilling pouch containing ruyi sachet containing a million rubbings of books from the Taiping Sect, including a rubbing of the Taiping Scripture.

It was given to Xuanming as a New Year's gift.

Xuanming was moved by this sincerity and realized that it must have been at the behest of the Taiping Dao Master to increase his regard for the promise.

After the New Year's Day celebrations ended, Xuanming went to the Taiping Dao Palace, solemnly bowed in gratitude outside the palace, and then turned to leave.

My ears twitched slightly, and I heard the voice of the Taiping Dao Master.

"Misfortune and fortune are intertwined. My courtesy to you is because I have a favor to ask of you, and the same applies to other living beings. You should take care of yourself in the future."

"Thank you for the reminder, senior. I will keep it in mind."

A moment later, at Taiping Dao Palace.

On the nine-zhang-high platform, the Master of Taiping Dao gazed at Xuanming's departing figure with a deep and unfathomable look in his eyes.

As the yellow sand swirled, his figure disappeared.

Taipingdao Palace was closed.

The three talents of the Taiping Sect arrived together in their first generation.

The four great beings gathered together deep within the Dao Palace.

---

Ripples spread across the void.

A portal to another dimension appeared.

With white hair and a gray robe, Xuanming stepped out.

He immediately frowned slightly and looked into the distance.

Two figures approached from afar, traversing the void; one was an elderly man with white hair, and the other a young man in brocade robes.

The old man was dressed in a dragon robe and slightly pushed his back, but his aura was truly astonishing, indicating that he was a powerful figure.

Although he was far inferior to the Master of Taiping Dao and could not compare to the great master of fine wine, a great master is still a great master.

Xuanming dared not be careless.

The other young man in brocade robes was an old friend: the young master of the Taiping Sect.

Having spent three years at the Taiping Sect's headquarters, Xuanming learned a great deal of information. He knew that the Taiping Sect's young leader was a descendant of the former Great Sheng royal family, and that the Qiu royal family was not weak. Even though they were not as powerful as before, they were still second only to the royal families of the three great divine dynasties.

"May I ask what brings you here, senior, to block my path?"

After bowing to show his respect for a great being, Xuanming went straight to asking questions.

The hunchbacked old man chuckled and said, "I am Qiu Shanhe, the Grand Elder of the Qiu Clan. I have long heard of your great name, True Lord, and today I see that you are indeed peerless in your demeanor."

"Today, this old man has abruptly blocked your path, hoping to make friends with you, True Lord, and invite you to join my Qiu clan for a chat."

Xuanming: "I appreciate your kindness, senior, but I have been away from home for a long time and I am eager to return. I am afraid I will disappoint you."

The young man in the brocade robe's face darkened upon hearing this, and he opened his mouth to speak, but the old man waved him off, still smiling kindly as he said:

"I understand your feelings, young friend. My Qiu royal family will not force you. We sincerely wish to befriend you. This is a jade talisman for contacting you. If you have some free time, please contact the Qiu family. Our entire clan will welcome you with open arms."

"Your kindness is appreciated."

Xuanming took the jade pendant, put it into his Ruyi pouch, and rode away on a cloud.

The young man in the brocade robe asked in bewilderment, "Ancestor, why did you let him go? With your great power, it would have been easy for you to keep him here."

The hunchbacked old man glanced at the young man and said calmly, "Young people are just too impatient. Go back and reflect on your mistakes in the mirror. If you understand the reasoning behind it, then come out. If you don't understand, then don't come out."

"If my Qiu imperial family wishes to reclaim its throne, military might is only one aspect; more importantly, strategy is crucial. If you cannot grasp this point, even if you are the most outstanding person of your generation, you are only fit to charge into battle, not to command the country or strategize."

The young man lowered his eyes, respectfully accepted the order, and seemed to be deep in thought.
