The Great Way to Truth, Starting from Jiazi Laodao

Chapter 161: Self-centeredness and Heaven-centeredness, Xuanming Spiritual Training

Chapter 161: Self-centeredness and Heaven-centeredness, Xuanming Spiritual Training
Zangdao Peak, Daoyuan.

After Xuanming returned, he used earth escape to go deep into the depths of Floating Cloud Mountain. He waved his sleeves to release the Chilong and imprisoned it on the earth veins, setting up restrictions. The earth veins and spirit veins would continuously devour the dragon's flesh and blood and dragon energy, strengthen its foundation, and then transform it.

"Don't worry, I have always been compassionate and will definitely bring your father here soon so that you and your son can be reunited."

Looking at the Chilong with a terrifying look and full of resentment, Xuanming gave a little "comfort" and turned away.

After escaping from the surface, Xuanming hung up a sign of retreat and sat cross-legged in the thatched cottage, not in a hurry to break through.

After running around for more than a month and providing support everywhere, he was exhausted. After practicing the "Hunyuan Yiqi Jue" and reaching his peak state, Xuanming cleared his mind, mobilized all his magic power, and began to break through.

As the Qi Circulates, the thirty-six meridians in the body flow like a long river, and the seven hundred and twenty star acupoints shine brightly and respond to each other.

The majestic magic power flows from the bottom to the top, out of the Yuanhai and into the Huangting. The innate Yuanjing and the innate Yuanqi interact with each other. After circulating for ninety-nine and eighty-one times, under the guidance of Xuanming, it goes straight to the upper Dantian Xuanguan.

Once, twice, three times...

It was like a flood hitting a dam, and with every impact, the gap in the entrance hall would open a little.

The impact became more and more violent, and the gap became larger and larger.

After the ninth time, the obstacles were completely shattered, the entrance was opened, and the tremendous energy rushed in and hit the dragon directly.

The spirit that Xuanming had been nurturing since he entered Taoism was pulled by an inexplicable force, like birds returning to their nests, condensing in the entrance hall, accumulating more and more, and slowly gathering into shape.

At first it was a phantom, hazy and misty, then it became solid and clear, with the same facial features as Xuanming, looking exactly the same, but Xuanming himself had an ordinary temperament and returned to nature, while this ghost-like Xuanming had an ethereal temperament and was covered in a bright light, less simple and more sacred.

This is exactly Xuanming’s Yin God!

---

Humans have three spirits, namely the primordial spirit, the conscious spirit and the desire spirit.

The innate spirit is cultivated after birth. What you think and want are the conscious spirit and the desired spirit. Whatever your eyes see are superficial appearances, while what your heart recognizes are the true nature.

The primordial spirit is innate in human beings and is hidden in the Niwan Palace. It is not controlled by consciousness and functions autonomously.

The conscious mind is based on the primordial spirit and is acquired after birth. It is a psychological activity of learning and accumulation. In short, the conscious mind is spiritual perception.

After a person is born, the innate qi disappears and the acquired qi takes over. The process of an ignorant child beginning to come into contact with the world is the process of the primordial spirit disappearing and the conscious spirit forming.

Desire is a psychological activity that originates from biological instincts and includes various desires and impulses hidden deep in the heart.

To practice the spirit is to use the innate essence and innate energy as the guide to refine the conscious mind and draw out the spirit hidden in the mysterious gate. The training is divided into four levels, which correspond exactly to the four realms of practicing the spirit.

Xuanming saw all this in the "Xu Ri Training Divine Experience" given to him by the Xu Ri Sect.

The primordial spirit is divided into two types: Yin spirit and Yang spirit. The one that is a mixture of yin and yang is Yin spirit, and the one that is pure yang without yin is Yang spirit.

As for the practice of the dead, it is different from that of the living. They pursue pure yin, practice to the extreme, and then give birth to yang from yin.

Due to his Hunyuan Taoist foundation and "Zhoutian Yangshen Jue", Xuanming's spiritual perception is powerful, and he is far superior to those who practice Qigong. In terms of number, he is almost comparable to those who practice spirit cultivation, but there is a big difference in level and mystery. Now that Xuanming has condensed his primordial spirit, his huge spiritual perception foundation has begun to erupt like a blowout.

With each cycle, the Xuanguan Yin God either grows stronger or becomes more solid. After the spiritual perception is completely transformed, the Xuanming Yin God becomes lifelike and detailed, with even the hair clearly visible, almost identical to the real person. The Yin God also grows to a thousand feet, like a giant in the Xuanguan world, holy and majestic.

---

The Yin God was guarding the entrance, and a mysterious aura emanated from Xuanming's body, so profound and obscure that ripples appeared in the space.

However, this is not enough. Condensing the Yin Spirit is only a prerequisite. The key lies in transforming the Tao from the law, which is the foundation of practicing the Spirit.

The mysterious and bright world and the self are both forgotten. I don't know the changing of seasons or the passage of time. I concentrate on breaking through the barriers. The prototype of the Taiji Dao Domain slowly unfolds with it as the center. Black and white alternate, the two yin and yang transform into each other, and gradually converge into one, from bright to pure, yin and yang are the same, and the return to the origin is deeper. A little gray air appears in the Taiji Dao Domain. At first, it is barely visible, like a drop of ink falling into a pond and being diluted quickly. However, as time goes by, more and more ink accumulates, and the pond becomes an inkstone pool, with a faint ink color. The prototype of the Taiji Dao Domain also becomes gray, becoming the prototype of the deeper Hunyuan Dao Domain.

The entrance hall was shining, and the Yin God merged into the prototype of the Dao realm, emitting strange fluctuations and going into the void. Half of the Hunyuan law was manifested in the Dao realm, resonating with the Dao of heaven and earth.

Xuantian is the unity of man and nature. One uses one's own heart to understand the heart of Heaven. The heart is the body of the mind, and the mind is the function of the heart. One communicates with the mysterious Way of Heaven, expounds one's own principles, and knocks on the door of Xuanpin. Heaven and earth are moved, and a ray of mysterious energy is sent down. Half of the Hunyuan law is transformed into a seed of Tao.

The primordial spirit returns to its place, and the Tao seed takes root in the embryonic form of the Tao realm. It uses the principles comprehended by Xuanming as soil to absorb nutrients, and the vast energy of heaven, earth, and mankind is transformed into nectar to water the Tao seed.

Click~!
The Tao seed sprouts, a bud breaks through the soil, stretches out tender branches and leaves, absorbs nectar, and grows rapidly.

In just half a month, it grew into a Taoist tree of three meters, three feet and three inches in height. The moment the Taoist tree stabilized, half of the Hunyuan Law transformed into one law. The Hunyuan Taoist domain extended outward and the space became stable. When the Taoist domain took shape, all kinds of mysterious auras diffused out.

Wind and rain, thunder and lightning, yin and yang, space, time, swordsmanship, the five elements, devouring and many other principles are filled in the Hunyuan Dao domain. Those who have a deep understanding of it can evolve half a law, causing the Dao tree to grow a branch; those who have a shallow understanding can transform it into leaves, and soon the Dao tree becomes more lush.

In the thatched cottage in the Taoist Temple, Xuanming opened his eyes, walked out of the door, and soared into the sky. He sat cross-legged in the air among the starry sky and displayed the magical power of Nine Breaths to Subdue the Air. The stars in the sky fell down, and he devoured them like a glutton. He refined the huge amount of energy and turned it into his own nourishment, or magic power, or vitality, or divine consciousness.

The status and energy of Fuyun Mountain are limited, and it is difficult to support a great spiritual practitioner. If he forcibly breaks through in the Taoist temple, before he can succeed, Fuyun Mountain will be devastated, with no grass growing and the mountain collapsing and the earth cracking.

Therefore, before Xuanming broke through, he had already decided to use the power of the stars to meet his own needs.

An energy vortex wrapped around Xuanming's body, growing larger and larger, with bright starlight, like a magnificent nebula. He was a star god guarded by all the stars, with starlight shining and majesty all his own.

The next day, the stars dispersed and Xuanming sat cross-legged above the clouds. He collected the purple energy of the morning sun and silently digested the vast energy in his body.

The sun and the moon rotate in the east and west, day and night are like spinning beads.

He swallowed purple air in the morning and gathered starlight and moonlight at night. During this time, rumbling thunder sounds rang in Xuanming's ears, coming not from the sky but from the ground, as if the earth was angry.

Every time it rang, a part of the vitality in his body disappeared, his body became three points heavier, his Yin spirit became three points dimmer, and his mysterious gate closed a little.

Xuanming knew that this was the coming of the catastrophe for his spiritual practice: land mines, which gave birth to all things, also destroyed the vitality of all things.

Fortunately, his accumulation was deep enough, and his foundation of Hunyuan Taoism was extremely solid. The landmines at night could not do anything to Xuanming, but instead became the nourishment for him to strengthen his internal organs and refine his magic power.

After practicing for half a month, Xuanming finally accumulated enough energy to completely cross the chasm, enter the realm of spiritual training, and become a Taoist master.

The Yin Spirit in his body grew several times stronger, reaching three thousand feet, and was extremely condensed, far surpassing the true dragon's soul; his magic power was as vast as the ocean and unfathomable; his physical body was several times stronger, and his every move caused the void to explode, and he felt that he could shatter a mountain with just one finger, three times more powerful than a real dragon.

My Taoism has advanced by leaps and bounds, and I have gained more knowledge and deeper understanding of the mysteries of heaven and earth, the universe, and all things. The principles I have comprehended in the past have also been updated, giving rise to more new insights.

Returning to the Taoist Temple, Xuanming digested the gains from breaking through the realm in the thatched cottage and familiarized himself with the power of spiritual practice as quickly as possible.

Time flies, and in the blink of an eye it is late autumn. Fuyun Mountain is all red and yellow, the maple leaves are like fire, the wild persimmons are like lamps, and the bamboo sea is surging.

Zangdao Peak, Daoyuan.

The door opened, and the old Taoist with thick eyebrows and white hair slowly walked out of the courtyard, climbing the mountain step by step like an ordinary old man.

Standing on the top of the mountain with his hands behind his back, Xuanming looked at the vast sea of clouds, a smile appeared on the corner of his mouth. After more than three months of seclusion, he finally got what he wanted, successfully practiced his spirit, and initially consolidated his realm.

His eyes pierced through the void and he could hear the croaking of frogs in a pond thirty thousand miles away. The texture on the body of the palm-sized frog was clearly visible. Then he looked at the billowing smoke in the distance and the villages filled with bones. Nine out of ten houses were empty. He frowned slightly and felt the power in his body that was enough to destroy the world. Only then did Xuanming feel at ease.

Looking around the world, no matter which force, a great cultivator of spiritual cultivation can be considered a strong man. With the troubled times approaching, he has enough strength to protect the Qiuzhen Temple and the people there.

Thinking of this, Xuanming stretched out his hand, spread out his five fingers, and pressed down lightly, controlling the Five Thunder Magical Powers to move from his heart. Thirty thousand miles away, in a village that was being attacked by horse bandits, thunder roared in the sky, killing all the evil bandits who had taken advantage of the war to burn, kill and loot. Heavy rain fell from the sky and extinguished the fire.
