Chapter 139: Preaching the Floating Clouds, Beginning to Spread the Huangting Sutra

The powerful pressure came and went quickly, and was directed outward, not inward. The people seeking truth felt nothing, but the cultivators outside the mountain felt the pressure like a mountain. They were shocked by the success. Looking towards Floating Cloud Mountain, some were in awe, some were afraid, and some were happy.

No matter how they reacted, they warned their disciples, relatives and friends not to offend Qiuzhen Temple easily in the future. Today is different from the past. This new Taoist sect has become a behemoth second only to Xu Ri Sect and Shui Yue Temple.

Restraining his pressure, Xuanming walked out of the hut and opened the gate. Led by Xuanxu, congratulations echoed throughout Zangdao Peak.

Seeing that the three generations of Taoists were all present, and the four generations of Taoists were in high spirits, and the entire Seeking Truth Temple was full of vigor and vitality, he was delighted and waved his whisk lightly. A stream of magical power blew like the wind, lifting up all the Taoists, and a steady and powerful voice reached their ears:

"It is better to do it today than to wait for a day. Today I will come out of retreat and all the Taoists will gather together to preach to you."

When these words were spoken, everyone was delighted.

The fourth generation Taoist priest was overjoyed.

After expressing their gratitude, they all sat cross-legged, concentrating their minds and not daring to be distracted for fear of missing the opportunity.

Xuanming also sat cross-legged on the ground, and a blue lotus broke through the ground, holding him up as if he were a true immortal. Then the Tao heart came out of his heart, entered the hearts of all Taoists, watered the Tao seeds, and nourished the Tao nature.

He has reached the end of Qi training and is one step away from training the spirit. He can perform some of the methods of training the spirit, and it goes without saying that he can preach the Tao with a heart of Tao.

This time he was talking about the "Huangting Waijing Yujing". How much one can understand and comprehend depends on their own foundation, daily practice, understanding, perseverance, state of mind, etc. The capable ones will get more, the virtuous ones will get more, and the mediocre ones will always be mediocre.

What comes and cannot be missed is time; what is stepped on and cannot be missed is opportunity. Whether you will be a kite soaring into the sky or a fish leaping into the deep, or be like everyone else and doing nothing, the clues can be seen in a sermon.

The natural sound of Tao flows into the heart of Tao like water. Every word is a pearl, every sentence is truth. Its theory is mysterious and its meaning is profound.

The heaven and earth were moved, and strange phenomena occurred. Flowers fell from the sky and golden lotuses emerged from the ground. They were all the result of spiritual inspiration. The sound of Tao spread out with Zangdao Peak as the center, echoing throughout Fuyun Mountain. The whole mountain was filled with magic and the extraordinary was born.

A large number of grasses and trees either break through the soil or stretch out their branches, and grow in response to the sound. In this cold winter month, they sprout again, bloom with new green, and become lush and full of vitality.

There are also many plants and trees bathed in the rhythm of Taoism, reborn, and transformed into magical medicines. The nearest spiritual pine tree is even closer and has the advantage of being the first to get the moon, gaining extraordinary fortune. It grows at a speed visible to the naked eye, with its trunk rising taller and its branches branching out, becoming lush and leafy.

The Xuan-level spiritual root Endless Wood also benefited from it, absorbing the rhyme of Tao, twisting its body happily, deepening its foundation, and growing rapidly.

The earth veins, spirit veins and fire veins of Floating Cloud Mountain are leaping with joy, conveying waves of joy. They are madly absorbing the rhyme of Tao and listening to the sound of Tao. Although the interior of Floating Cloud Mountain seems calm, in fact, its foundation is rapidly deepening and its potential is slowly increasing, waiting for the day when its accumulated strength will explode.

The Taoists and spirit beasts who sought truth benefited even more. The three generations of Taoists were intoxicated and unconsciously released their own Dharma ideas, which condensed into various Taoist images, such as a huge and ancient cauldron, thunder and lightning, mountains and rivers, or blazing fire.

The four generations of Taoists were also immersed in it, and people broke through from time to time. The outstanding disciples in the front, such as Chang'anzi, Changqingzi, Changchunzi, Changfengzi and Changning, could vaguely see the threshold of Qi training, and the Dharma power on their bodies was looming, and they began to take shape in form and spirit.

Especially Chang'anzi and Changning, they have received in-depth teachings from Xuanming and are better than other outstanding people. It is just around the corner for them to be promoted to the Qi training realm and become immortals.

The cry of a deer was heard. The spirit deer had followed Xuanming the longest and was his favorite, and had gained many benefits. This time, after listening to the teachings, he was the first among all the spirit beasts to transform. White light bloomed on his body, and it was reflected by the mysterious light, which converged into a black and white yin and yang diagram.

In the picture, he has grown taller, his body has become longer, he is sturdy and strong, with antlers pointing towards the sky, and he has officially entered the fourth stage of training essence. Red, yellow and green halos are emanating from his body, and his bloodline has evolved, awakening a trace of the nine-colored deer bloodline. He has grown to this stage in only ten years since he was born. Linglu can be said to be very lucky and blessed.

Then, dragons roared and phoenixes sang, and various roars rang out one after another. Fish dragons, black turtles, double-headed birds, black swallows, etc. underwent transformations one after another, and were wrapped in light cocoons of different colors. Their bloodlines evolved, and their cultivation broke through. Even the manta rays that had already entered the Qi training realm benefited a lot. Rabbits, foxes, hedgehogs, magpies, snakes, insects and many other birds and beasts that lived longer seized the opportunity, and with spiritual lights on their heads, they opened their spiritual wisdom and embarked on the path of cultivation.

Seeing this scene, Xuanming felt happy in his heart. He thought about it and tried to mobilize the Huangting Qi. He was delighted when he found that it could temporarily enhance the enlightenment of all Taoists and create a more mysterious Taoist rhythm.

In the past, Huangting Qi could only be used by oneself; now it can bless other people. This is a huge improvement and a sign of progress in one's own path. It is of extraordinary significance.

In excitement, Xuanming closed his eyes and preached more attentively. This process was not only benefiting Fuyun Mountain, but also sorting out what he had learned, thought and realized over the years, removing the dross and retaining the essence, making it more systematic and clear, and even reviewing the old to learn the new and refining the principles.

The Great Way is independent and unchanging, it circulates without end, it is always moving and changing, deriving mysterious rules and evolving infinite laws. Because of this, principles are changing, and the Way is changing. This preaching will also be beneficial to Xuanming's practice.

During this sermon, Xuanming taught everyone without distinction, benefiting all living beings in the mountains. As long as all spiritual beings have a desire for the Tao in their hearts, they can all hear the sound of the Tao, it all depends on how much luck they have.

The sound of Tao soon spread beyond Floating Cloud Mountain, radiating for miles and dozens of miles around. Strange phenomena also occurred outside the mountain, but they were not as frequent and intense as those inside the mountain. The grass and trees returned to spring, growing green in the severe winter, and the flowers bloomed, giving off fragrance, showing the whole place full of vitality.

Many cultivators heard the sound of Tao and rushed to the foot of Floating Cloud Mountain. Birds and beasts also rushed here. Ordinary people who had a connection with Tao also heard the sound of Tao and involuntarily sat cross-legged and listened quietly.

This scene also made ordinary people call it a miracle and kowtow on the spot. The land god also appeared in the evening, listening to the Tao and worshiping Fuyun. Even the little monsters in the depths of Canglong Mountain and near Fuyun Mountain were aware of it and came to the junction to listen to the teachings.

Time passed quickly, and the sermon lasted for several days before it ended. The sound of the sermon lasted for a long time until half a day later, when the listeners woke up one after another and felt the changes in themselves. All living beings were overjoyed and bowed their heads to pay homage to Floating Cloud Mountain:

“Thank you for your preaching!”

The human race is grateful, and the monsters thank you.

The creatures that could not speak followed suit and bowed, then dispersed. Each and every creature released a trace of luck that merged into Floating Cloud Mountain.

This is the merit of education.

The Tao teaches and enlightens living beings, and when they bow down to express their gratitude, they will return good fortune. The two complement each other and take what they need. This is also the principle of conservation and transformation of the Way of Heaven.

Feeling this, Xuanming nodded with satisfaction. After the Taoists woke up and bowed, he ordered them to leave and digest what they had learned.

The audience of Qiuzhen Temple benefited a lot from this sermon. At most, in half a year, the first Qigong master will be born among the fourth generation of disciples. The Qiuzhen Temple will then have hope for inheritance and successors.

The news of Master Xuanming's preaching spread quickly. Some people envied him, some felt regretful. The scriptures he preached were also recorded by some people, but they were incomplete and only a few words were passed down to the world. Even so, many people still regarded them as classics and chewed on them repeatedly. There were even old practitioners who had been stuck in the Jing refining realm for a long time and gained some insights, thus breaking through and advancing to the Qi refining realm.

This incomplete sutra spread rapidly in Fengyang County, and was sought after by many Taoist sects. The prestige and reputation of the Qiuzhen Temple rose to a higher level, and some of its luck also flowed into Fuyun Mountain.

Unfortunately, only the Qiuzhen Temple has the complete scripture. Although the other lineages are eager to learn, the Qiuzhen Temple is no longer the same as before. They can no longer treat this great Taoist sect as they did in the past. They dare not act rashly in many matters, for fear of making things worse and shooting themselves in the foot.

Xuanming was not interested in how the people outside the mountain reacted or how the various Taoist sects were distressed. He thought that the uneasiness in his heart would be much calmer after he broke through, but he did not expect it to become even stronger. This made him realize that a storm was about to come and things were not as simple as he had imagined. The matter involved a great cultivation of the spirit, and the Truth Seeking Temple was very likely to be involved. Therefore, he prepared for a rainy day and took precautions before any disaster occurred. While he was practicing hard, he traveled around Floating Cloud Mountain, drawing talismans and setting up formations.
