The Great Way to Truth, Starting from Jiazi Laodao

Chapter 105: The Sound of Creation, and the Realization of the True Meaning of Hun Yuan

Chapter 105: The Sound of Creation, and the Realization of the True Meaning of Hun Yuan
Crouching Tiger Village.

Xuanming was warmly received by the village chief.

He was not surprised by this.

It is only natural for the village chief to do so.

That night, everyone paid homage to the mountain god for the third time.

When the burning incense was placed in the incense burner, the smoke curled up, and the mountain king statue finally moved, flashing with light, and streams of light fell on the person who was praying to the god for medicine.

Instantly, everyone felt cured of their illness, felt relaxed and healthy again, and knelt down excitedly to kowtow to the tiger king.

The health of Qiao's eldest daughter has also improved a lot, but unfortunately this is a congenital disease, not an acquired disease, and the tiger's strength is limited, so she cannot be truly cured.

At this moment, a word "heal" flew out from the mountain god statue and landed on Qiao's eldest daughter. A majestic and upright innate aura merged into her body, making up for her deficiency. In just a short moment, her face became rosy, just like other healthy children.

Seeing this scene, Mr. and Mrs. Qiao were so happy that they cried and kowtowed to the statue of the mountain god, their foreheads were swollen. Xuanming knew that it was Bai Tingshan who took action to support his daughter, and that aura was the Confucian spirit of righteousness.

On the fourth day, the others were in no hurry to leave. Xuanming led the donkey and left alone. Before leaving, he strung together the penny that Qiao Da had given him with a red string and tied it around his daughter's neck as a talisman.

In fact, Xuanming did not really leave, he just pretended to leave. He was invited to the Mountain Monarch Cave by Bai Tingshan. After a long conversation, the Confucian monster proposed to discuss Taoism, and Xuanming readily agreed.

Being able to practice Confucianism and Taoism in the form of a demon, Bai Tingshan must have unique insights into the world. Inside the Mountain Monarch Cave, a man and a demon, a Taoist and a Confucianist sit opposite each other, with a deer, a swallow and a mountain monk lying beside them respectively.

Putting down the teacup, they smiled at each other. They had a tacit understanding and moved at the same time. Bai Tingshan used his hand as a pen, and the majestic energy surged through his fingertips, writing a word. The text carried the truth and contained many Confucian principles: the sound of reading aloud, the sound of writing, the sound of talking, the sound of pointing out the world, the sound of teaching and educating people...

Xuanming didn't raise his finger, but uttered a word calmly: "Zha!"

The sound condenses into words. Once a word is uttered, it is full of majestic auras, evolving into earth, wind, water, and fire, condensing into a Tai Chi pattern, with black and white interwoven, evolving with each other, rising and falling in the sound.

The entire Shanjun Cave was shaken, and even the voices of the Confucianists suddenly stopped. A look of surprise appeared on the face of Bai Tingshan, who was full of confidence. Hu Niu looked at Xuanming with surprise and admiration, and Linglu Changshou raised his head towards the Shanjun proudly, full of pride.

After being surprised, Bai Tingshan couldn't help but feel anticipation. He manipulated the words and combined them with the word "Zha". The two words were like the intertwined yin and yang, flowing in the void, mutually reinforcing and restraining each other, respectively interpreting the innate and acquired weather conditions.

Xuanming was overjoyed at this, but after thinking about it, he found it normal. According to the legends of his previous life, the word "zha" was the sound of the creation of the world. He was able to make this sound because of the "Huangting Waijing Yujing" and Taijitian, and he had observed the creation of the world and the formation of Taoism many times, and his cultivation had reached the Jindan realm.

The voice of Confucianism is the voice of the acquired nature, which imparts truth and educates people. The collision of the two voices, respectively carrying the innate responsibility and the acquired duty, allows for such an atmosphere, although unexpected, but upon careful consideration, it is also expected.

Afterwards, Xuanming and Bai Tingshan let go of their spiritual senses and immersed themselves in discussing and practicing Taoism. The mountain king, the spiritual deer and the swallow also benefited from this and became intoxicated.

---

A true dragon roars in the sky, a tiger roars in the mountains, and both types of creatures are good at music. The Confucianism of Baiting Mountain is to choose only one sound out of three thousand Confucianisms, listen to the voices of students all over the world, and then use the sound to move the sound, let the sound enter the heart, and carry out the work of education.

The many voices merge into one, and its word is Wen, which educates all living beings; its sound is like thunder, awakening the deaf; its voice is like water, nourishing all things; its shape is like clouds, changing unpredictably...

He believed that the way of heaven and earth lies in sound, and Confucianism should make sounds. All sounds are the hearts of living beings. Emotions move in the heart, so they are expressed in sounds; sounds become texts, which are called sounds. Therefore, the sound of a well-governed world is peaceful and joyful, and it is harmonious. By comprehending the various sounds of Confucianism, Xuanming has a better understanding of Confucianism, a better understanding of the sounds of heaven and earth, and a deeper understanding of the principle of teaching without distinction. In Bai Tingshan's eyes, Confucianism is not only about educating people, but also about flowers, birds, insects, fish, birds, beasts, etc., who can also be educated and understand benevolence and righteousness. Even this kind of loyalty, filial piety, chastity and righteousness has long been deeply rooted in the life instincts of all living beings: crows repay their parents, wolves work together...

Xuanming saw Bai Tingshan's broad mind and the grand Confucian spirit. He practiced Confucianism in the body of a demon. His literary mind was purer than that of some great Confucian scholars of the human race, and he had already broken the barriers of race and region.

Wearing a cloth robe, he travels between the two mountains:

He taught the animals and plants in the mountains by sitting upright on the bluestone and reading the sages' writings to them, in order to dispel their ignorance and awaken their minds. He opened a school and accepted the spiritual little demons as students, teaching them the principles of being a demon and the foundation of life.

Walking around outside the mountain, one can not only learn principles from books, but also practice them personally, appreciate Confucian wisdom in the human world, absorb the truth, talk with Confucian scholars, listen to children reciting articles, learn knowledge from great Confucian scholars, and ask elders for advice. A hundred years of reading in the cave is not as good as ten years in the human world.

Compared to Xuanming, the heart lake of Baiting Mountain is more turbulent. Through the word "zha", he saw the birth of heaven and earth, watched the creation of all things, and realized that there is no high or low among all beings in heaven and earth, no distinction between noble and humble, and they are essentially the same. They are all creations of heaven and earth. It is only after the heaven and earth measured their values that there are various differences.

Practitioners should trace back to the roots, see the essence of all things, understand that heaven and earth are one and that all beings are converging towards the same goal. They should not be influenced by acquired concepts, but should question their true hearts, treat all spirits reasonably and fairly, and then make choices based on the behavior of all spirits. The good will be blessed, the evil will suffer misfortune, and good and evil will be rewarded, just like a shadow following you.

Bai Tingshan originally thought that he was open-minded and generous, but he did not expect that Master Xuanming was even more generous and had a mind as broad as the sea. Compared with him, he was slightly inferior, but he was willing to admit defeat.

The man and the demon were so immersed in the discussion that they didn't notice the passage of time. In the Taiji Heaven, a four-inch mountain rose from the ground, vast and bright. It was the embodiment of the Confucian principles of Baiting Mountain.

As the innate sound and the acquired sound merged into a soundless sound, Xuanming's mind suddenly had a flash of inspiration and he caught a glimpse of opportunity, or to be more precise, a glimpse of Hunyuan meaning.

Different from the Hunyuan meaning of Tai Chi!
More mysterious, more obscure and ancient.

Even with his current level of Taoism, it is difficult to comprehend it, and he only understands a little bit: great sounds are silent, and great elephants are invisible.

Even if it was just a minor detail, it made Xuanming's Taoism advance greatly. At the same time, the "Huangting Zhongjing Yujing" that had been silent in the Xuanguan for a long time came to life and resonated with the newly comprehended Hunyuan Yi. Something was vaguely brewing, but it was fleeting and incredibly fast. Even Xuanming only felt it slightly and did not grasp it.

But it doesn't matter, since it has already happened, it will come when the time is right. If you get restless about it and force it too much, it will be bad and you will easily become obsessed.

Three days later, the discussion ended.

Inside the Tiger Cave, the mysterious aura dissipated, and the wolves, foxes, magpies, doves and other small demons surrounding the Tiger Cave expressed their gratitude and then dispersed one after another.

Xuanming and Bai Tingshan each sat cross-legged with their eyes closed to digest what they had gained. The mountain king, the spiritual deer and Xuanyan had already fallen asleep after listening to them, and they leaned against each other without knowing when. The mountain king and the spiritual deer each drooled, and Xuanyan's body was stained with saliva, but she seemed not to notice it.

One day later, the man and the demon woke up one after another, opened their eyes at the same time, smiled at each other, then looked down and saw a tiger, a deer and a swallow soundly sleeping, and they all shook their heads and smiled helplessly.

"The real person never reveals his true identity. I never thought that fellow Taoist has reached the level of a saint. I have benefited a lot from this discussion."

"Your Confucian teachings have broadened my horizons and benefited me a lot."

Without waking them up, Bai Tingshan and Xuanming praised each other, and then Bai Tingshan took out something from his sleeve.
