"Get up, you don't need to kneel before me. In fact, I intended to step down from the throne and help you up myself. But unfortunately, I am suppressing the power of the Dark Lord that this body possesses, and I cannot leave the throne."

The God-Emperor sat on his throne, his gaze fixed on the distant psychic ritual being conducted by Elena.

Li Nuo stood up and considered his words.

The God Emperor spoke:

"Two years and five months ago, you lay on the operating table, and I observed your condition closely. Elsa's psychic field was both protecting you and concealing your secret. However, the psychic field she gave you did not become an obstacle. I saw everything about you. The past, the present, the future, and the future of the future."

"A portion of Alphamega's subspace essence was sealed within your soul by Elsa, granting you the ability to transfer consciousness between different orcs."

"To help you master this skill as quickly as possible, I have stored some magical orc spores in the Bone Drinker's Treasury during the Rebellion Era."

Li Nuo's pupils constricted slightly; he never expected that the appearance of the miraculous spores would be related to the God Emperor.

Despite his surprise, Li Nuo did not interrupt the God Emperor and listened quietly.

"The wondrous orc spores were an invention of Alphamega and should not have appeared in the Age of Rebellion. So when they appear, it means that I have discovered you, and the Eldar will be alerted and will accelerate their plan to destroy the Dark Lord."

"The Dark Lord also realized that you were a threat, so when the Emperor tried to form an alliance with you several times, He interfered and sabotaged your relationship."

What you see, hear, and feel will never be the truth, but merely a story fabricated by the narrator from a specific perspective.

"The Book of Destiny once showed you the beginning and end of your time travel. Now, are you ready to hear another story?"

Li Nuo paused for a moment, then nodded subconsciously.

A cold, golden light swept over them, and the surrounding environment suddenly changed.

The magnificent golden throne has vanished, and the towering palace walls have been replaced by stars.

Li Nuo arrived in an unnamed void, where a space battle was taking place.

Time unknown.

Location unknown.

The only certainty is that the two sides involved are Horus's 63rd Expedition and a human civilization that has not yet submitted to the human empire. (Note 1)

Expeditionary Force 63 was a fleet focused on conquest.

It anticipates encountering resistance and will not hesitate to crush its opponent.

Leading it was its flagship, a behemoth over 20 kilometers long, the Glory Queen-class battleship, the "Soul of Vengeance".

Li Nuo's perspective was directly above this behemoth.

He could clearly see the sturdy bow, the stern spewing flames, and the ornate Gothic interior.

The Void Shield of "Vengeful Spirit" was in operation, and the cannon fire rippled across its surface. Enemy attacks were futile and failed to harm the flagship personally commanded by Horus.

This is a battle without any suspense.

The enemies of Expedition 63 did not include any cruisers or higher-class ships.

Their "Void Ship" is simply a space fighter smaller than a frigate but larger than a heavy-duty shuttle, which can be piloted by one or two people.

They weaved and darted through the gaps in Expedition 63, like a swarm of bees, dodging shells and lasers with their agile movements and petite size.

A single-pilot fighter jet flew past Li Nuo.

After its ammunition was depleted, it abandoned its machine gun and shield generator in exchange for greater mobility and stealth.

It darted in at an extremely high speed, then rapidly reduced its cruising speed to 10 meters per second as it approached the Void Shield.

The huge speed difference brought immense pressure, causing the fighter jet's outer shell to deform visibly, but the pilot inside persevered.

The fighter jet successfully passed through the Void Shield and crashed into one of the "Vengeful Spirit's" sensor towers, exploding into a dazzling display of sparks, like a spectacular suicide attack.

Li Nuo clearly saw that, just before the fighter jet crashed, the pilot ejected from it and, under the cover of sparks, reached the external hatch below the sensor tower.

In a very short time, the pilot cracked the combination lock on the outer hatch and silently infiltrated "The Vengeful Spirit".

Li Nuo's perspective shifted instantly, moving from the outside of "Soul of Vengeance" to the inside of the sensor tower on the upper deck, his line of sight level with the fighter pilot who had just boarded the ship.

This person's equipment was rather rudimentary; he wore a set of metal armor similar in specifications to that of a member of the Solar Army Marine Corps, and his weapon was not a firearm, but a double-edged spear.

Li Nuo's gaze moved upwards, scanning from bottom to top.

Upon seeing the face beneath the mask, Li Nuo raised an eyebrow, recognizing the person's identity.

Omega.

This warrior is Omega.

Horus discovered Omega during his battle with the lost human civilization and brought him back to the Empire.

This is a story from the Warhammer canon.

It seems that the current battle is a replay of this story.

The scene before my eyes was paused for a moment, and the God Emperor's voice rang in my ears.

"Alpha and Omega are twins that I created."

"The subspace nature of these brothers gives them the ability to freely transfer their consciousness between different beings."

Trusting the Cult agents, Alpha and Omega met with them in Elios to discuss the future of the Empire.

The problem arose from this secret meeting.

A figure emerged from the image displayed by the God Emperor; it was the lizardman elder that Li Nuo had previously seen on the Secret Sect's ship.

The Divine Emperor said:
"The lizardmen are the earliest species created by the ancient saints. Their mission is to replace the star gods and maintain the physical rules of the real universe. The power of the esoteric elders is so great that even I cannot see their past or future."

"The lizardmen told the Alpha Brothers in a secret conversation that there are three possible futures for the human empire."

Why do esoteric Buddhism depict three possible futures?
Shouldn't there be two types?
Did I remember it wrong?
Li Nuo muttered to himself for a moment, then continued listening.

The Divine Emperor said:
"In the first future depicted by Tantric Buddhism, the human empire lingers on for tens of thousands of years before finally perishing along with the Chaos God."

"The second future is even more hopeless: the human empire will be eternally enslaved by chaos, never to rise again."

"The third future symbolizes the victory of the human empire, in which humanity will destroy the Chaos God and become the overlord of the galaxy, but at a certain cost."

Li Nuo now understood that this third future had never appeared in the Warhammer canon.

The Alpha Brothers must have chosen the third future, which is why their Warhammer world is so strange.

As expected, the God Emperor confirmed Li Nuo's speculation.

"The Alpha Brothers accepted the advice of the esoteric elders and chose a third future. The price the Alpha Brothers had to pay was... slumber."

"Sleeping?" Li Nuo murmured.

In the image, the lizardmen used some kind of psychic energy to create a lifelike Alpharis.

This "Alpha" returned to the Legion, playing the role of "Alpha Rhys," and participated in a series of events from M30 to M41.

The real Alpha, along with Omega, left with the lizardmen and lay down in a metal box with complex geometric patterns on its surface.

The lizardmen sealed a box, where the Alpha Brothers slept peacefully.

This sleep lasted for a full ten thousand years.

The cult was wiped out by the Eldar in M32. The Lizardmen took the metal box to escape the disaster, but the Alpha Brothers were unaffected.

In the forty-first millennium, the metal box, sealed for ten thousand years, was opened by the lizardmen, and a figure stepped out.

He is Alphamega, mentioned in the Book of Destiny.

"You are AlphaMega, the fusion of Alpha and Omega. Calm down, learn to control your abilities, and then destroy Chaos."

After the lizardman finished speaking, his figure vanished like a bubble, thus ending his ten-thousand-year journey of guarding the metal box.

From then on, AlphaMega's name marked the beginning of his conquest of the Milky Way and the subspace.

He punched orcs, kicked terrified tyrannus, beat up the Tau, assaulted the Eldar, and thrashed the Necromancers. He conquered many races by using his ability to freely transfer consciousness, and indirectly mastered their special abilities.

After amassing a large army, he declared war on the Chaos God, and Nurgle was the first to be attacked by him.

Alphamega breached Nurgle's palace and rescued Elsa, the goddess of life, who had been imprisoned by Nurgle for many years.

Nurgle and AlphaMega engaged in a final battle. AlphaMega was severely injured and defeated. Elsa opened a portal and led AlphaMega to escape the battlefield. Nurgle then used a time-reversal spell, accidentally tearing apart dimensions and creating three universes.

AlphaMega's subspace nature was split into several parts during the dimensional tearing process. Elsa obtained one part, while the rest were lost.

Elsa, carrying a small portion of AlphaMega's subspace essence, came to the outside of the universe and landed on the planet where "Lino" was located.

Li Nuo was already familiar with what happened next, having read about it in the Book of Destiny.

The content shown by the God Emperor can complement what is shown in the Book of Destiny, helping the latter to complete the content before the appearance of Alphamega.

After reading it, Li Nuo had only one thought in his mind:
The lizard people have a problem, a very, very big problem.

If it hadn't proposed a third future, the Brotherhood of Alpha would have joined the Horus Rebellion and become part of the Chaos faction, just like in the Warhammer canon.

However, the Lizardmen not only proposed a third future for the human empire, but also tinkered with a fusion of Alpha and Omega.

If Li Nuo remembers correctly, the Book of Destiny describes Alphamega's birth as follows:

"I have revised the storyline of the 41st millennium. Here is the revised version:"
"In a certain year of the 41st millennium, I facilitated the fusion of Alpha and Omega to become AlphaMega."

Looking back now, this description is truly chilling!

Could the lizardmen be the authors of the Book of Destiny?
After careful consideration, Li Nuo recounted what he had read in the Book of Destiny, sharing the information with the God Emperor.

After listening, the God Emperor was visibly moved and reached the same conclusion as Li Nuo:

"The esoteric Buddhist elder is very likely the author of the Book of Destiny. I will try my best to find its whereabouts and find out more about the matter."

“Your Majesty, I encountered this lizardman when I was dealing with the Ulanor orcs.”

Li Nuo recounts how he possessed Blood Raven Boy and followed the secret cult agents Black Cup and Red Wine.

The God-Emperor noted down this information and said:

"Compared to tracing the origins of the lizardmen, I'm actually more interested in the world you originally lived in. To be honest, I know the origins of that world."

"Oh?" Li Nuo's eyes lit up.

The Divine Emperor said:
"During the ancient Terran era, many kingdoms existed on Terra. The Xia Kingdom was one of them. It was the first to invent the warp drive and the first to begin interstellar colonization. When the Stone Men of the Dark Ages conquered the Milky Way, the Xia Kingdom had already left the Milky Way and taken root in other large star systems. What I didn't expect was that the Xia Kingdom has now transcended the heat death of the universe and become an eternal civilization in the remnants of spacetime."

The God-Emperor slowed his speech and spoke in a consultative tone:
"Leaving aside how the Xia Kingdom achieves this, I believe that when the human empire is no longer threatened by the Chaos God, the empire can also become an eternal kingdom like the Xia Kingdom."

"Now, let's reach a mutually beneficial cooperation agreement, Li Nuo."

"We share a common enemy, the Chaos Gods. I have a way to destroy them, and this method will not require any sacrifice from you, nor will it harm your interests."

"You won't regret it, Li Nuo. My method for destroying chaos begins with the Golden Throne..."

The God Emperor and Li Nuo whispered to each other, the content of their conversation unknown to outsiders.

The more Li Nuo listened, the more feasible the idea seemed, much more reliable than the Spirit Race's ridiculous prophecies and the bullshit "Book of Destiny."

After explaining his method, the God Emperor shot out a golden beam of light from his fingertips.

Li Nuo was enveloped in light, feeling as comfortable as if she were soaking in a hot spring.
