Chapter 382 'The Betrayal Witch'

Beowulf and Siegfried were the first mortal heroes to assist Towns.

Back during the invasion of Celtia, the two infiltrated the Celtic world as Heroic Spirits. Even if their contributions weren't great, they certainly put in the effort. Afterward, they helped train Heroic Spirits in Valhalla, but over the years, they've remained in a lukewarm, stagnant state.

This attack on the Greek world was their last chance.

Only then did everyone realize what was happening.

Previously, even though someone killed Zeus's son, Zeus probably didn't really care about those illegitimate children born randomly from indiscriminate procreation.

His entire life was filled with deception, so logically Towns should have taken him in with a generous offer.

This left Jason completely bewildered: "Your Majesty, I... I don't understand what you mean."

"[Is your so-called great achievement really something you did?]" Towns' eyes flashed, and Jason immediately trembled all over, feeling that Jason was about to wet himself in fear.

Towns ignored him and instead looked at the beautiful goddesses around him.

Goddesses of love and beauty... Towns is never short of goddesses who used to hold this divine position.

Freya, Hathor, and Shiva all came from this clergy.

They certainly don't lack such insight.

Freya raised an eyebrow: "Poor girl, still unaware that what she calls love is nothing but a vile spell."

Freya's every word was like a sharp knife, piercing Medea's heart.

Yes! How terrible! To go with Jason, Medea betrayed her father and murdered her own brother. Even if the other Argonauts didn't say anything, their eyes were filled with suspicion and disgust when they looked at her.

Having nothing left, she was forced to fall even more passionately in love with Jason. He was her only lifeline, allowing her to convince herself that it was all for Jason.
