Master Craftsman of the Elven World

Chapter 77 Remarks on the launch

Chapter 77 Remarks on the launch
This book will be on the shelves at 12 noon tomorrow. However, since the activation of VIP chapters requires manual operation, there is no way to use the saved manuscripts to schedule it, and it will most likely not be updated on time.

The performance of this book was pretty good in the beginning, but because of my lack of strength and a bit of luck in December, I did not advance to Sanjiang. After all, I was the weakest at level five and was often stepped on by up-and-coming geniuses. If I were in a fantasy novel, I would be just a passerby at the same level who appeared in two chapters and then became a background board.

I originally had quite a few drafts for this book, but I felt that they didn't fit my style, so I deleted them all. Now there aren't many left, which means that almost all the drafts I saved in the past month of writing the book have been scrapped after so many deletions and revisions.

I thought I could write more easily on a daily basis, but I didn't expect that I always felt something was not right. I kept doing useless work over and over again. I deleted it directly after writing it, which was equivalent to working in vain. The more I wrote the plot, the more I felt that the original draft was not good. Many parts did not connect and were too brief, so I simply deleted it all.

It is indeed not easy to simply write about daily life in a colorful way. I am the kind of person who can do a little bit of everything, but can never be the best.

This is also the first time I write an elven novel. Speaking of which, I had thought about trying to write a new one when I was writing Shanhai. Then the epidemic hit, and I was in a slump for a while after recovery. I felt like I couldn’t write a book anymore, as if I had brain fog and was a little confused. After I started Heretic, I gradually recovered, read a few more elven novels, and played Stardew Valley for a while, then I remembered the idea again, so I started a book.

So, writing elf fan fiction now can be considered as a way to strengthen my control over the middle and late stages, change my thinking and make my brain clearer. Shanhai is the one I have the best control over. When I wrote Evil God in the later part, it was like a wild horse running out of control, which made my brain run wild. As a result, I suffered from insomnia for more than ten days and almost died. As soon as I closed my eyes, a movie started to play.

As everyone knows, I don't have any rules when writing books. I basically write about whatever channel I want to write. I always feel frustrated if I don't write down an idea, so I might as well write it down as soon as possible, just to exercise my writing skills. This is probably one of the reasons why I am the newest level 5. I haven't accumulated long-term experience in the same channel type, which leads to a lot of miscellaneous things I write. If I were to be put in a novel about cultivating immortals, I would definitely be the type who practices too many different types of skills, goes astray, and my realm plummets and then I go astray. After unfolding a small plot, I would quickly become a supporting role in the protagonist's experience pack.

I used to be able to write big foreshadowings, but now it’s hard for me to write them. I feel like I’ve regressed to being a primary school student. Sometimes when I look back at my old manuscripts, I wonder “What the hell did I write before? What is this? What is this?” When a friend in the group asks me what this setting is, I will give a high-quality answer of “I don’t know.”

Maybe next time I create a small account and reincarnate and revise it, I can regain my previous writing strength and skills.

In the new year, I will start over and learn how to write books again from the beginning. I will start with this elf fan fiction. About ten chapters will be updated tomorrow. This is the most popular update I have ever put on the shelves, and it is also my last draft! I will be satisfied if the first order can reach 1000+.

As for adding more chapters, for someone like me who writes one chapter and deletes two, and finally works for five hours and ends up losing one chapter, and when I look at the time it’s 5:23, I really don’t have the ability to add more chapters. I can only say that I’ll try my best!
So, this time I’m really asking for subscriptions from newbies!

As for the Pokémon that I capture, since I'm not a traditional trainer I don't have to follow the limit of 6. But since I'm not a farmer, I can't capture too many.

The initial plan is for twelve Pokémon. It's not impossible for a Pokémon to travel around with twelve Poké Balls hanging on his body, just like Adek. Of course, the number can be increased, but adding new Pokémon will naturally reduce the roles of previous Pokémon. There's no way around it.

As for the production of props, after all, I am not a real craftsman in the Pokémon world, so I can only omit the production process of some tools. If I really had this ability, I would have traveled through time long ago. As for the Pokémon battles, sometimes they are dry. I try to make them more interesting, but as a craftsman, I don’t have many opportunities to fight. For example, I have written so many chapters now, but there are only two or three real battles.

Well, I would like to thank everyone for your reading and support. In the new year, I wish you all the best and may all your wishes come true!
