Chapter 255 The World Honored One's Journey from the West: A Way to Break the Stalemate
Qizhou, Yanqi Commandery.
Li Hun, clad in full armor and well-equipped with soldiers, gazed at the Buddhist soldiers not far away and couldn't help but feel somewhat troubled.
He currently has only 70,000 Liangzhou soldiers under his command, while the enemy has a full 300,000!
One hundred thousand of them were Buddhist soldiers from the far west, while the remaining two hundred thousand were soldiers from the Western Regions.
Meanwhile, the enemy also sent one Bodhisattva and two Arhats, a total of three Yuan Dan Martial Saints, while his own side only had himself. In recent days, Li Hun had been defeated one after another, and he was indeed no match for the Western Buddhist Kingdom.
Although the Liangzhou soldiers have always been known for their strength, with 70,000 against 300,000, they do indeed have a slight advantage.
So now, Li Hun is somewhat hesitant.
A few days ago, a Bodhisattva from the Western Buddhist Kingdom sent him a message saying that if he could submit to the Western Kingdom, he would surely attain the status of a Bodhisattva.
In the far western Buddhist kingdom, the Yuan Dan Martial Saint has two levels of attainment: Bodhisattva and Arhat. The status of Bodhisattva is naturally higher than that of Arhat.
Under the Han regime, he was indeed under intense surveillance.
Li Hun did not want to become a Yuan Dan Martial Saint, the "Lord of the World," and he was well aware of how difficult the path was. He just wanted to live a better life and had always been an opportunist.
Now, there is the Buddhist Kingdom in front and the Han Dynasty behind.
Caught in the middle, he suddenly realized that seeking refuge in the Buddhist kingdom might not be such a bad thing after all.
Upon realizing this, Li Hun's brows immediately relaxed.
Li Hun was gazing at the 100,000 Buddhist soldiers outside the city. They sat cross-legged like a forest, chanting scriptures in a low voice, their voices like a surging tide, as if even the heavens and earth were dyed with a faint golden light.
Although the Western Region troops were numerous, their formation was scattered, clearly indicating that they were not elite troops.
Just as he was pondering, he suddenly felt a gaze pierce through dozens of miles, heading straight for him. The Bodhisattva from the Buddhist kingdom was watching him from afar, his eyes seemingly filled with compassion, yet also with profound meaning.
"I've heard that the Buddha in the far west teaches his followers with chanting, and they are completely convinced after being taught. If I were to go to that Buddha's country, would I also be brainwashed by this Buddha?"
Li Hun felt a slight hesitation: this was his only worry about joining the Buddhist kingdom.
After all, if you've been brainwashed, you might as well stay in Dahan.
At that very moment, a voice suddenly rang in his ears: "You want to be a monk?"
Li Hun was gazing intently into the distance when he suddenly heard a mocking question beside him. He was startled, and cold sweat instantly broke out on his back. He subconsciously pressed the hilt of his sword at his waist, unleashing his Yuan Dan realm true essence. He looked around but saw no one, only the wind swirling yellow sand sweeping across the city walls.
The voice was deep and majestic, as if it came from the highest heavens, yet it was as clear as a whisper in one's ear.
"I don't know which senior has arrived. I have been very rude. Please forgive me."
Li Hun's Adam's apple bobbed. This voice, appearing and disappearing without a trace, was clearly something only a Dharma Aspect True Lord could do. In fact, a Dharma Aspect True Lord had arrived here...
Thinking of this, Li Hun felt a chill run down his spine. He looked up at the sky and saw faint purple energy flowing through the clouds. The phantom image of the Nine Cauldrons flashed by under the blazing sun.
Meanwhile, the Buddhist formation dozens of miles away suddenly became agitated.
The chanting of the 100,000 Buddhist soldiers abruptly stopped, and the Arhat sitting in the front row suddenly stood up, the golden bell and Dharma treasures hanging above his head humming and trembling.
The Bodhisattva, who had been sitting cross-legged with his eyes closed, finally opened them, and in his crystal-clear pupils was reflected Li Hun's panicked figure... as well as the faint shadow of a purple-gold dragon behind him.
The Bodhisattva from the far west Buddhist kingdom was taken aback and blurted out instinctively, "Dharma Form?!"
"Um?!"
The two Arhats beside him also showed the same surprised expression.
Why would a master of the Dharma Aspect level appear at this very moment?!
On the city wall of Yanqi, Li Hun was now drenched in sweat.
This is clearly the Dharma form of the Lord of the World!
Although Li Hun had never eaten pork, he had seen pigs run before, so he naturally recognized the posture of this Dharma image. For a moment, Li Hun felt both frightened and puzzled.
The fear is understandable, but what's puzzling is... where the hell did this so-called ruler of the world come from? I've never heard of the world being unified!
"I remember that the Li family of Liangzhou has been a military family for generations."
Zheng Jun's voice appeared in Li Hun's ears, and the bricks and stones of the city wall under Li Hun's feet began to heat up slightly: "Your grandfather Li Gan once led his personal guards to defend Yumen Pass for thirty days to resist the Northern Rong. He finally died after gnawing on his saddle and leather armor. The rise of the Liangzhou Li family was also due to their expansion into Qizhou and their conquest of the Buddhist Kingdom."
Before he finished speaking, Zheng Jun's figure had already appeared in front of Li Hun.
"His Majesty!"
Upon seeing this, Li Hun was startled and immediately knelt down, beads of sweat forming on his forehead: "Your subject, Your subject has absolutely no intention of serving the far west..."
Li Hun had never met Zheng Jun, but he had seen many portraits of him.
After all, Zheng Jun was the emperor of the Han Dynasty, so such a portrait could easily have been circulated. Almost everyone in the country had a copy, just in case the Han emperor were to arrive one day and they didn't even know who the Han emperor was.
Thus, Li Hun knew what Zheng Jun looked like. Now that he had seen Zheng Jun in person, he realized that the portrait was just a portrait. When the real person stood in front of him, his imperial aura was simply impossible to conceal. It could even be said that it shattered the clouds, which made Li Hun quite terrified.
Especially after Zheng Jun saw through her little scheme...
I was sweating even more.
Zheng Jun, however, did not seem to have much of a bloodlust when he looked at Li Hun.
Zheng Jun did not intend to kill Li Hun.
Although Li Hun had considered defecting to the enemy, he was still hesitant and did not take any concrete action.
Li Hun had previously fought a major battle with the Buddhist Kingdom in Qizhou for a month or two. Although he did not win, he had still put in the effort, which Zheng Jun could understand.
However, once such a thought arises, he will only be able to remain stationed at the border indefinitely within the Han regime.
"I hereby appoint you as the General Governor of Qizhou, in charge of all military affairs in Qizhou."
After calmly finishing his speech, Zheng Jun looked up at the 100,000 Buddhist soldiers, then took a step forward and, in the blink of an eye, left Yanqi City.
Li Hun was completely unaware and remained kneeling on the ground, expressing his gratitude to the Emperor: "Your subject receives the decree, long live the Emperor!"
Li Hun knelt on the top of Yanqi City Wall, his forehead pressed against the ground, not daring to move.
But at that moment, he suddenly heard a deafening roar that seemed to shake the heavens and the earth.
Upon seeing this, Li Hun was taken aback. He steeled his heart, suddenly looked up, and his pupils contracted sharply!
Dozens of miles away, above the Buddhist formation, Zheng Jun's figure appeared like a true dragon descending to earth, his purple-gold imperial robe fluttering in the fierce wind.
Zheng Jun simply pressed down with one hand, and a thousand-foot-deep ravine suddenly split open in the clouds. The phantom of the Nine Cauldrons pressed down from the sky, and the chanting of the 100,000 Buddhist soldiers instantly stopped!
"Crack!"
The Bodhisattva's crystal-gold body shattered on the spot, and the prayer beads in his hand exploded into dust.
The two Arhats fared even worse; their protective aura was torn apart like thin paper, and they knelt on the ground, spitting blood from their seven orifices.
The Vajra Subduing Demon Formation, composed of 100,000 Buddhist soldiers, could not even withstand a single breath before collapsing like a sand tower!
As for the 200,000 soldiers from the Western Regions, they were scattered in an instant. The native Yuan Dan Martial Saint King of Kucha was terrified when he saw this and was about to take off, but Zheng Jun gave him a casual glare and he fell directly from the sky.
A dignified Yuan Dan Martial Saint, whose true essence was completely imprisoned, was now seriously injured after falling from a great height.
Zheng Jun glanced at the trembling prisoners, his tone as calm as if he were strolling in a garden: "A mere Yuan Dan from the far west, is he worthy to come and ferry my subjects?"
Li Hun, standing atop the city wall, was so astonished he was speechless.
This was the first time in his life that he had seen the Dharma Minister take action, yet he could see the 300,000-strong allied army being forcibly suppressed by the Dharma Minister in the aftermath, while His Majesty's imperial robes remained completely untouched by dust!
"This...this is the power of the Dharma Aspect True Monarch?!"
Li Hun's fingernails dug deeply into his palms, and his back was soaked with cold sweat.
He once thought that the Yuan Dan Martial Saint was already the pinnacle of martial arts, and that even if the Dharma Aspect was powerful, the difference between it and the Yuan Dan was only that the half-step Yuan Dan was similar to the Yuan Dan. But now he realized that he was just a frog in a well and was so wrong!
Those Buddhist soldiers who were powerful enough to sweep through Qizhou were crushed like ants in Zheng Jun's hands!
However, Li Hun still had a question in his mind.
His Majesty the Emperor is so powerful, why didn't he completely annihilate these 100,000 Buddhist soldiers and the three Yuan Dan cultivators? Instead, he only suppressed them.
But this doubt vanished in an instant.
What does it matter to me what His Majesty the Emperor does?
This is not something I should worry about.
At that moment, Zheng Jun silently returned to the city wall, looked at Li Hun, and said calmly, "You will forever guard Qizhou for me. If you harbor any disloyal thoughts again..."
Before the words were finished, a desolate mountain a hundred feet high in the distance suddenly turned to dust: "Just like this mountain!"
Upon hearing this, Li Hun broke out in a cold sweat and quickly replied, "Your subject dares not."
Your Majesty has already attained the status of a Dharma Master, how dare I harbor any disloyal thoughts?
Seeing this, Zheng Jun said no more and looked towards the Buddhist soldiers' formation.
In the far western Buddhist kingdom, there are only fourteen Yuan Dan masters and no more than six hundred thousand Buddhist soldiers.
Now, he has three Yuan Dan cultivators and 100,000 Buddhist soldiers under his control here.
Zheng Jun believed that the Buddha of the Western Paradise would definitely come out to make peace with him.
This is also a good opportunity for me to have a good talk with the World Honored One.
If you can't reach an agreement, find a way to beat him up and make him behave.
Upon realizing this, Zheng Jun immediately stood among the Buddhist soldiers, waiting quietly for the World Honored One.
However, after three days of this, the World Honored One was nowhere to be seen, which made Zheng Jun frown.
"His Majesty."
The leading Bodhisattva is named the Great Compassionate and Merciful Bodhisattva, also known as the Bodhisattva of Wisdom and Light. She is an extremely rare female Bodhisattva with a beautiful appearance and a somewhat exotic look. She stands beside Zheng Jun and respectfully bows to him.
Zheng Jun looked up and glanced at the female bodhisattva. His heart remained calm. He only needed to glance at the cause and effect to know what the Huiyue bodhisattva was thinking. He immediately said, "Do you want to subdue her?"
With her hands clasped together, her eyes lowered, and her voice as clear as a spring striking jade, Bodhisattva Huiyue said, “Your Majesty, please forgive me. This humble nun came to the East this time to save all sentient beings, but I never expected to see the true form of the dragon today, and only now do I know what ‘the mandate of heaven’ truly means.”
After saying that, she suddenly raised her eyes, and the golden lotus illusion in her eyes crumbled inch by inch: "The World-Honored One often said 'dependent origination and emptiness,' but now it seems that the cause and effect of this Buddhist kingdom is nothing but a mirage."
Upon hearing this, Zheng Jun couldn't help but chuckle.
The Bodhisattvas of this Western Buddhist Kingdom are quite eloquent; they can even articulate a lot of reasons for surrendering.
Zheng Jun's gaze swept across Huiyue Bodhisattva's seemingly devout face like lightning, and he said indifferently, "Oh? I am curious, since you are a Bodhisattva from the Western Buddhist Kingdom, and you have chanted the name of the World Honored One hundreds of times, why are you talking about 'flowers in a mirror and the moon in the water' now? Could it be that the teachings of the World Honored One of the Western Kingdom are nothing but an illusion in your eyes?"
“Your Majesty is wise. So-called ‘faith’ is nothing more than each taking what they need. The World-Honored One bestowed upon us the Yuan Dan fruit position, and we spread the Dharma and protect the teachings for him. It is just a business transaction.”
Despite having her true essence locked away, Bodhisattva Huiyue showed no sign of panic. Instead, she bowed slightly and said in a light tone, "Now that His Majesty's Dharma form suppresses the ten directions, even the World Honored One dares not easily reveal himself. Why should I sacrifice myself for a false name?"
Upon seeing this, Zheng Jun said, "You're quite frank, but aren't you afraid that I'll think you're two-faced and kill you without a second thought?"
Bodhisattva Huiyue bowed to Zheng Jun and said, "It all depends on Your Majesty's decision."
As he said, the elder brother sent his younger brother out to fight and risk his life, but when the younger brother got into trouble, the elder brother didn't step in. How could the younger brother be convinced by that?
Bodhisattva Huiyue was an opportunist and not a loyal follower of the Buddha. Now that things have come to this, it is not unreasonable for her to switch allegiance.
Seeing this, Zheng Jun nodded slightly: "That's right, you may stand beside me."
After saying that, Zheng Jun waved his hand and released the true essence of Bodhisattva Huiyue from its confinement. Bodhisattva Huiyue immediately felt that her true essence could still flow and couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
"Where are you two?"
After dealing with Huiyue's matter, Zheng Jun looked at the two Arhats and immediately asked them a question.
The two Arhats remained silent, simply reciting scriptures.
However, from Zheng Jun's perspective, it can be seen that the causal relationship between these two Arhats and the World-Honored One is very strong. It can be said that they grew up under the World-Honored One's tutelage since childhood, so naturally they would not betray him.
However, the karmic connection of this Bodhisattva Huiyue is not deep.
Bodhisattvas are above Arhats, but Arhats are all manifestations of the Buddha's own land, while Bodhisattvas are external beings who have been subdued, so their loyalty is naturally different.
"Ugh."
Zheng Jun sighed deeply, looked westward, and said, "It seems that the Arhats under your command have been severely brainwashed by your karma, while the Bodhisattvas are extremely free."
Before the words were finished, golden light suddenly swept across the sky, and the clouds seemed to be parted by a giant hand.
Zheng Jun stood with his hands behind his back, his purple-gold dragon-patterned imperial robe fluttering even without wind, and looked up towards the west.
A majestic golden body emerged from the void, towering over ten thousand feet high, with thirty-six layers of radiant light above its head and golden lotuses stretching for miles beneath its feet. The golden body had a compassionate face and slightly closed eyes, yet it seemed to be able to see through all beings in the three realms.
"Amitabha." The Buddha's name resounded throughout the heavens and earth, and the 100,000 Buddhist soldiers, as if summoned, all prostrated themselves on the ground and kowtowed.
The two Arhats were moved to tears and cried out, "World Honored One!"
Only the Bodhisattva Huiyue stood quietly beside Zheng Jun, her fingertips trembling slightly.
Zheng Jun sneered, and the nine illusory cauldrons beneath his feet shook violently, erasing all Buddhist chants: "Playing tricks!"
The golden statue slowly opened its eyes, its gaze as bright as the sun and moon: "Emperor Han, why make things difficult for these fools?"
"Embarrassed?"
Zheng Jun's sleeves swirled with purple energy like dragons: "You sent Buddhist soldiers to invade my territory and ferry my subjects across, and now it's become my fault?"
The Buddha sighed, and a miniature mountain suddenly appeared in his palm, with its mountains, rivers and streams flowing as if alive: "This is the 'Floating Life Mountain,' containing tens of millions of Floating Life Stones. How about exchanging these Buddhist soldiers for their return home?"
Upon hearing this, Zheng Jun fell into deep thought.
This Floating Life Stone is a rare spatial resource, usually used to refine spatial magic treasures, such as one's own 'Square Inch Mountain'. Unexpectedly, the World Honored One has an entire mountain of Floating Life Stones in his hands.
Although Zheng Jun has now achieved the Dharma form of "Lord of the World", he feels that the Floating Life Stone might be of some use if he wants to break through to the Dao Lord realm.
"Trading a mountain for 100,000 soldiers, the World Honored One is indeed generous."
Zheng Jun smiled enigmatically and said, "However... wouldn't it be even more satisfying if I forcibly seized this mountain and then destroyed your Buddhist kingdom?"
Before the words were finished, the nine cauldrons suddenly materialized, and the sound of the cauldrons colliding caused the golden Buddha's light to dissipate by 30%!
The Buddha's expression remained unchanged, filled with compassion: "Your heart is too heavy with killing intent. The far west is not the central land. I'm afraid the Han emperor, the ruler of the world, is unable to mobilize the earth's energy."
"Ah."
Zheng Jun suddenly raised his hand, and a purple aura slashed towards the golden body like a heavenly blade!
In an instant, half of the golden body on his right arm was cut off, and the Buddha's blood, as clear as crystal, splattered across the sky.
The Buddha's expression remained unchanged.
Zheng Jun chuckled and said, "Your golden body is nothing but a wisp of divine consciousness. Do you really think I can't see through it?"
Having said that, Zheng Jun grabbed Fusheng Mountain, and the mountain instantly transformed into a stream of light and disappeared into Fangcun Mountain. Immediately afterwards, purple energy soared into the sky and condensed into a dragon head that blotted out the sun in the clouds: "Take the person away. If you dare to set foot in the Central Plains again, I will personally go to the far west and destroy your Bodhi Temple!"
The Buddha remained silent for a long time before finally joining his limbs in a gesture of respect.
As the Buddha's light swept past, the 100,000 Buddhist soldiers and the two Arhats vanished.
Only the Bodhisattva Huiyue remains, standing alone in the desolate wilderness.
Zheng Jun looked at this method and let out a deep breath.
This World Honored One is indeed powerful.
I have heard that the Buddha of the Western Paradise is the oldest Dharma form in the world, and is proficient in the method of reincarnation. He has gone through three lifetimes, and in each lifetime he has attained the Dharma form of a Buddha.
If they weren't in the Central Plains, Zheng Jun wouldn't want to clash with him.
After all, Zheng Jun really didn't know the true strength of the Three Incarnations Dharma Form.
With this thought in mind, Zheng Jun turned to look at the Bodhisattva Huiyue and asked, "Are you scared?"
Huiyue took a deep breath and smiled: "Your Majesty is just curious... why did you make this deal? The source of the World-Honored One's Dharma image is naturally the followers of the country. If 100,000 Buddhist soldiers are lost in one day, the Buddhist country will be in turmoil, and the World-Honored One's prestige will also decline considerably in a short time."
Zheng Jun raised his eyes and glanced at Huiyue.
You really want to make the Buddha suffer, don't you?
Sure enough, traitors are even more ruthless towards their own people.
"Do I need your guidance on how I should act?"
Zheng Jun snorted coldly, and Hui Yue felt as if she had been struck by lightning. She suddenly spat out a mouthful of golden blood, her eyes filled with fear, and she immediately apologized.
"Your position in the Buddhist kingdom is no longer available. I have heard that this World Honored One is extremely petty. You shall remain in the capital and pray for the Han Dynasty."
After saying this, Zheng Jun swept away and headed towards the capital.
Zheng Jun did not deal with the 100,000 Buddhist soldiers, naturally not wanting to strain his relationship with the World Honored One.
Now that he is the Dharma Master, how could Zheng Jun not know that the source of the Buddha's power comes from his followers?
The purpose of recruiting Huiyue was singular.
That was a warning to the Western World Honored One: if he opposed him, he would set up a temple for Huiyue in the capital at any time, allowing Huiyue to educate the people, shake the foundation of the World Honored One's power, and weaken his prestige.
The people of the Central Plains number in the tens of millions. How could the mere far west possibly compare in numbers to the Central Plains?
Strategic deterrence!
Zheng Jun could now sense that the world's laws were acting very strangely towards him. At this time, he wanted to warn as many people as possible to avoid delaying his path to becoming the "Dao Master".
With this matter concluded, the external threat has been completely resolved, and there is no immediate need to rush the matters concerning Qingzhou and Jinzhou.
Zheng Jun now needs to return to Shenjing to handle some matters.
The main thing is to stop and process the memories left to him by the Great Sage Who Overturned the Sea.
Let's see what's going on.
……
One month later, in Shenjing (Beijing).
Before the morning mist had completely dissipated, a ray of golden light pierced through the clouds, bathing a massive palace suspended above the imperial capital in a fiery glow.
The palace is built on a white marble base, surrounded by surging indigo clouds, like a glass cup held up by an invisible giant hand. The vermilion paint on the palace walls seeps out in the sunlight, revealing a blood-red hue. The plaque bears the three characters "Taiji Palace".
Zheng Jun sat cross-legged on the Nine Heavens Cloud Platform, his body surrounded by the true essence of the Purple Star Emperor Qi flowing like a star river. This 'Taiji Palace', which floated above the capital, was created by him personally using the Floating Life Stone.
Zheng Jun, meanwhile, was processing the memories of the Great Sage Who Overturned the Sea.
After a long while, a strange look appeared on his face.
"So it was the suppression of heaven and earth?"
Now that things have come to this, Zheng Jun finally understands the origin of his previous feelings.
It is the suppression imposed upon me by heaven and earth.
As the saying goes, "When fortune smiles, heaven and earth lend their strength; when luck turns, even heroes are powerless."
I am currently in the second half.
However, with the 'Great Dao Martial Book' protecting him, the suppression of the will of heaven and earth on him was not that strong, but even so, Zheng Jun still felt somewhat uncomfortable.
Zheng Jun could sense that Heaven and Earth did not like him and would stop him from succeeding at all costs.
For example, if one wants to condense other Dharma forms, the heavens and earth will create trouble for one and prevent one from condensing other Dharma forms.
but……
Does this work?
Dude, I have the 'Great Martial Arts Manual,' I'll just take an advance!
However, it is probably because of the 'Great Dao Martial Book' that I have provoked such a violent reaction from heaven and earth.
After all, even the will of heaven and earth was probably bewildered, completely unaware of how it had created the 'Lord of the World' Dharma form.
The occurrence of such events, which are beyond the control of heaven and earth, has caused the heavens and earth to react in a very turbulent manner.
And this is more or less the same for other Dharma forms besides oneself.
Of course, the most serious case involves the Buddha from the far western Buddhist kingdom.
He reincarnated three times, each time becoming a Dharma form, possessing such powerful foundation, yet he could only live in the far west. Why?
It was because of the suppression of the will of heaven and earth that he was unable to leave the far west and spread his teachings throughout the world.
If this World Honored One were to spread his teachings throughout the world, he would likely attain the position of 'Lord of the Dao'.
"Is there any way to break free from the oppression of heaven and earth?"
Zheng Jun continued to search through the memories of the Great Sage Overturning the Sea, attempting to find a solution to the problem within them.
The Great Sage Who Overturns the Seas is the Dharma Aspect that has studied the "Lord of the World" the most deeply, apart from the one who condensed the Dharma Aspect of the "Lord of the World".
The reason is that the Great Zhou Divine Martial Emperor often exchanged experiences and insights with the Great Sage Overturning the Sea.
The Divine Martial Emperor of the Great Zhou Dynasty was actually stronger than Emperor Wei and Emperor Yu. Moreover, having ruled the world for nearly a thousand years, he had also unearthed much of the insights of those who had condensed the Dharma Image of the 'Lord of the World' throughout history. Therefore, he could be said to be the one whose Dharma Image of the 'Lord of the World' was closest to that of the Dao Lord.
The Great Sage Who Overturns the Seas was someone the Divine Martial Emperor interacted with.
For example, the method they developed was to expel 'impurities' from the body and produce more princes, thereby diverting the attention of heaven and earth in a 'dispersed' manner.
However, this trick doesn't seem to work.
Emperor Shenwu still died.
But in the memories of the Great Sage Who Overturns the Sea, there is another method.
That is to find a way to try to please the will of heaven and earth and build a good relationship with it.
But how can one please the will of Heaven and Earth?
It's about going to other worlds and stealing some of their essence back.
However, if the true body leaves, the world will be in turmoil, and the Dharma form of the 'Lord of the World' will also weaken.
The Dharma form is solidified and unique. Even if the world is lost, the ruler of the world is still the ruler of the world, and the Dharma form is still the Dharma form.
However, their strength will be greatly diminished, and they will no longer possess that invincible aura that once dominated the world.
The same principle applies to the Buddha's followers. If all 100,000 Buddha soldiers were lost, the Buddha would still be the Buddha, but his strength would be greatly reduced.
In the memories of the Great Sage Overturning the Sea, he did mention to the Divine Martial Emperor a method of 'differentiating divine consciousness' to create a physical body and steal the origin from other worlds.
But Emperor Shenwu died before he could implement his plan.
Upon seeing this method, Zheng Jun frowned, as if he had thought of something.
Not long ago, it seems that the World-Honored One used a similar method, sending a wisp of his divine consciousness to come and save us from disaster!
Therefore, it is indeed worth a try.
but……
Zheng Jun took a deep breath, stood in front of the Taiji Palace, overlooking the entire capital, and suddenly issued an imperial edict: "I am determined to lead an army eastward to quell the rebellion!"
"The imperial edict orders that 100,000 elite troops be dispatched from each of the six prefectures of Bo, Lan, Su, Xuan, Liang, and Long; 300,000 border troops from Yunzhou be set out immediately; 200,000 iron cavalry from each of the Northern Rong and Western Di tribes be sent to assist in the campaign; and the entire armies of Shenjing Longwu, Cangdao, and Xiaoguo are to be mobilized for the expedition."
"With a combined force of 1.6 million, we will quell the rebellion in the three prefectures of Jin, Peng, and Qing. This battle will pacify the region in one fell swoop and bring peace to the world!"
"Imperial edict to the two traitors, Liang Xiao and Wu Lu, of the Southern Kingdom: If they remain obstinate and refuse to surrender, once I have pacified the rebels of the three prefectures, I will march south, raze their ancestral temples, and exterminate their descendants!"
"The Imperial Edict orders the Ministry of Works to immediately oversee the construction of the Altar of the State and the State, and instructs the Imperial Observatory to refine the 'Purple Emperor's Heart Elixir,' with a one-year deadline. If the project is not completed by the deadline, all officials in charge will be executed!"
His voice was as loud as a bell, and it spread throughout the capital in an instant.
The capital city was in an uproar!
After doing all this, Zheng Jun took a deep breath and headed towards the Great Zhou Library.
If one truly intends to use the method of splitting one's consciousness to steal the origin.
In this realm, it is naturally impossible for other Dharma forms to see it.
Therefore, Zheng Jun is going to make a big move, forming a series of combined attacks, to cause Wanfa Shangren, Shennong Zunren and Fulong Zhenjun to misjudge!
This big move is simple, even self-evident.
Unification! (End of Chapter)
