Chapter 23: Phantom Yin Finger
Before he knew it, a long time had passed and Zhao Ti didn't feel sleepy at all. Instead, his eyes became brighter.

He was not completely ignorant of internal energy. He had a few common internal energy booklets in his hands, and had talked about practicing internal energy many times with the guards who had learned it.

The only differences between the various exercises are in the breathing, movement routes, and training postures.

Among them, the breathing and exercise postures are easy to understand and basically there is no problem with them. The most difficult part is the exercise route.

The eight extraordinary meridians of the human body, the anterior ren and posterior du, the twelve floors of the dantian and purple palace, and the 360 visible and hidden acupuncture points, these are the most difficult parts.

When moving the Qi, a slight mistake can lead to a huge mistake. Once you go into the wrong meridian, at best all your efforts will be in vain, at worst all your efforts will be wasted, at worst you will be disabled or die.

It is difficult for people who have never practiced internal energy to succeed by themselves if they only follow instructions without a master to guide and answer their questions.

If a book on internal skills is thrown into the market and ordinary people take it to practice, nine out of ten times they will not be able to practice it. If the internal skills are very powerful, not only will they not be able to practice it, but they will also hurt their own bodies. If they fail to practice the internal skills, at most they will suffer a serious illness and lose a few months of life. Once they practice the internal skills and go astray, it will be a disaster and they may even die.

Therefore, the matter of meridians and acupoints is of paramount importance in cultivating internal strength. If you have never practiced it, do not understand it, and do not have a master to teach and guide you, you should not act rashly and try to figure it out on your own.

But Zhao Ti didn't need to do that. He had the Tiansheng Bronze Man from the Imperial Medical Bureau in his hand, which was the ancestor of the acupuncture meridian bronze men. Not only were the meridians and acupoints complete, but even the internal organs and bones were perfectly carved out.

Medicine and martial arts are one family. He has discussed the meridians and acupoints of the human body in detail with the doctors of the Imperial Medical Bureau. It can be said that his understanding of the meridians and acupoints of the human body is no less than that of any internal martial artist.

He read this Phantom Yin Finger five or six times. He memorized all the content the first time, and read it silently many times to figure out some of the difficult parts of the technique.

The Tian Yi Sheng Shui Can Tong Qi came in handy at this moment. By comparing the two and referring to the River Chart and Book of Changes, I have reached 90% understanding of the Huan Yin Finger.

Heaven produces water, and the earth completes it. Water is the source of heaven and earth, the universe, all things, and the human body. One is Tao, Tao produces water, and water is yin, nourishing heaven and earth, Hunyuan Taiji.

The human body is like the world, with twelve meridians and eight extraordinary meridians, each of which is divided into yin and yang, water and fire.

Of the twelve main meridians, six are yin and six are yang.

The meridians on the back of the palm are yang, and the meridians on the palm are yin. The meridians on the inside of the body are yin, and the meridians on the outside of the body are yang. The six internal organs are yin, and the six bowels are yang.

The eight extra meridians are different from the twelve main meridians. They are not directly affiliated to the internal organs, nor do they have any exterior-interior coordination relationship. They run in a different way, so they are called extra meridians. They crisscross and crisscross among the twelve main meridians, and also have four yin and four yang.

There are another 360 acupuncture points, some obvious and some hidden, which correspond to the Zhoutian circulation, and are also half yin and half yang, like stars in the universe, scattered throughout the human body.

With so many meridians, extraordinary meridians, and acupoints crisscrossing each other, and three dantians, upper, middle, and lower, countless routes for exercising can be formed.

Each set of internal energy training methods cultivates different meridians and acupoints, and the routes followed are even more different. After practicing, the power they have varies greatly and is very different.

That is why there are differences in the levels of internal energy, as well as in coldness, heat, speed and rapidity.

Generally speaking, the more meridians one cultivates, the more routes one can branch out and roam. Although it is absolutely impossible to walk through them all, the wider the area where Qi flows, the more powerful one's internal strength will be.

But Zhao Ti saw that this Phantom Yin Finger technique only practiced the Taiyin meridian, and did not even practice the Jueyin and Shaoyin, which are also among the twelve main meridians, let alone the other Yang meridians.

The Taiyin Meridian is the first of all Yin meridians. The correct name of the Huanyin Finger is the One Yin Finger. This One Finger refers to this first Yin meridian. It also means that one gives birth to all things in the world.

Follow the special route of the Taiyin meridian according to the method, and circulate the small internal circulation. Once successful, you can achieve the Taiyin covering all things, the sky giving birth to water, and water melting all things. The small circulation slowly forms the big circulation, hiding the strong and fierce, the false fire hiding the yang, and the whole body forms the extremely yin internal force and true qi, which is extremely cold.

The One Yin Finger is also known as the Phantom Yin Finger for this reason. It takes the Taiyin meridian as the only major meridian, and transforms all the meridians and acupoints in the body into Yin. This is the Phantom Yin.

And this is exactly the reason why the Phantom Yin Finger can be used to practice the Sunflower Manual!
It is similar to the Nine Yang Divine Art and has similarities with the One Yang Finger, but the Six Meridians Divine Sword is different.

One Yang Finger is a very Yang skill, but it changes when it comes to Six Meridians Divine Sword. Six Meridians Divine Sword is a skill that combines Yin and Yang. One Yang Finger is divided into nine levels, and the fourth level is the foundation for practicing Six Meridians Divine Sword. Only then will you be qualified to advance to practice Six Meridians Divine Sword.

Zhao Ti had never read the contents of One Finger of Yang and Six Meridians Divine Sword, so he didn't know what changes this technique had undergone when it reached the fourth level.

This Phantom Yin Finger is divided into six levels. When you reach the fourth level, you can release your true energy to hurt people, forming a finger wind that can point at acupoints in mid-air, creating an invisible countermeasure.

But similar to the One Yang Finger, using the One Yang Finger in mid-air consumes a lot of internal energy, and continuous use will at best result in the loss of all power, and at worst, life may be in danger.

No matter how powerful the martial arts is, if the internal strength is not strong enough, it will be difficult to support long-term use, or even impossible to use.

If you don't have enough internal energy, you can't use the Six Meridians Divine Sword. Even if you spit out blood, you can't use it at all.

The same is true for many punches and palms. Even if you learn them, you won't be able to fully perform them if you don't have enough internal strength.

Zhao Ti had already comprehended 90% of the Phantom Yin Finger at this time. He sat cross-legged on the couch. Unlike the general exercises where five hearts face upwards, the Phantom Yin Finger technique had one heart facing upwards and four hearts facing the ground, and then he began to breathe in and out.

You must first get a sense of Qi, gather small amounts into large amounts, store it in the Dantian, then follow the Taiyin meridians, and gradually open up the special path of the Small Circulation as described in the exercises.

At this point it depends on the talent of the martial artist. Some may not be able to develop the sense of Qi in a year, while others may be able to get it in a day.

Zhao Ti only took a few dozen breaths when he suddenly felt a chill rising from his dantian, and he couldn't help but be startled.

He had talked about this with a guard who had mastered internal skills. When he got the energy, the essence of his breath gradually entered his dantian, just like a little hot mouse running around inside, making him feel warm and comfortable.

But why does my home feel cold?
The exercises don't mention whether the internal energy you cultivate will be cold or hot, but this kind of cold yin exercise... maybe it's cool?

He could only think this way. Fortunately, there was no other abnormality with the true energy. It was just not hot and did not run around. It was hidden in the Dantian, as if dormant, quiet and calm.

After thinking it over, Zhao Ti stopped caring about it and just kept breathing in and out, accumulating energy. In the blink of an eye, three nights and two days had passed.

He made rapid progress and mastered the first level of the technique on the first day. However, he felt unsatisfied and continued practicing, and now he has entered the second level!
It was already late when he entered the secret room. Now it was the morning of the third day. He slowly got up from the couch, drank some water, ate some fruit, and moved around in the secret room.

The Huan Yin Finger is mainly based on internal strength, coordinated with finger techniques and footwork. Start practicing now, and you will see the figure flashing, as if a ghost is walking, and the fingers lightly tap, as if playing chess with others in the air, or writing a long scroll in the void.

After a long pause, Zhao Ti took a deep breath and poked the wall lightly with his finger. A faint white chill appeared around the place where his finger touched. When he lifted his finger, there was a slight frost under his finger.

He nodded with satisfaction, sat in meditation for a while to recover, then opened the door of the secret room and walked out.

Yu Er was standing outside the door and bowed quickly, saying, "Has the king come out of seclusion?"

Zhao Ti nodded: "Has anything happened these days?"

Yu Er said: "Nothing else, except that the Prince of Jiyin came once, and our subordinates pretended that the prince was not at home and said they would come again another day."

Zhao Ti smiled when he heard this. Zhao Zongjing, Prince of Jiyin, was the Minister of the Imperial Clan Affairs Bureau. He must have been ordered by Empress Dowager Xiang to come and question him about his crimes.

At this time, the chief steward Zheng Fu hurried over from a distance and wiped the sweat from his forehead: "Congratulations, Your Majesty, on leaving the border. Your Majesty, Your Majesty..."

Zhao Ti saw that he was anxious and asked, "What's the matter?"

Zheng Fu said, "Your Majesty, the Prince of Jiyin has come to the palace for the second time and wants to see you."
