The Song Dynasty was the king for thirteen years before he knew that he was Tianlong.
Chapter 169 Black Rose, Shambhala
Chapter 169 Black Rose, Shambhala
Dali is a continuous mountain range north of Shanju County and south of Tubo.
At this moment, spring is warm, flowers are blooming, trees are lush and green, and the breeze is blowing.
In front of the Kufan Temple, a skinny old monk, wearing an old gray monk's robe, sat on a blue stone and preached to the mountain people.
These mountain folk included woodcutters, hunters, swallow collectors, and foreigners who came from the other side of the mountains.
Mu Wanqing was also among the crowd listening to the sutra. She was dressed in a green dress, with a black veil covering her face, and her eyes were as clear as water.
The old monk was talking about the Great Wisdom Sutra. According to him, the Great Wisdom Sutra was a method of practice taught by the Buddha to the guardian gods, Shinto spirits, and alien spirits at the Vulture Peak Dharma Assembly.
This method was explained in detail by Bodhisattva Nagarjuna, who expounded the doctrine of Prajna wisdom, and was then compiled by Venerable Ananda into the Mahaprajnaparamita Sutra and the Mahaprajnaparamita Shastra.
What the Buddha taught is called sutras, and what the Bodhisattva taught is called treatises.
However, if the Dharma spoken by the Bodhisattva is approved by the Buddha, and is preached in the Dharma Assembly with the Buddha's wisdom and blessing, and the content is completely consistent with the Buddha's teachings, it is essentially the embodiment of the Dharma and can also be called a sutra.
Therefore, although the Mahaprajnaparamita Sutra consists of both a sutra and a treatise, they are collectively called a sutra. The sutra spoken by the Buddha has very few words, while the treatise by Nagarjuna Bodhisattva has more words.
The old monk said in all his sutras and treatises that for every sentence he spoke of the sutras, he would give ten sentences of treatises. The mountain folks could not understand the sutras, but they could understand some of the treatises, and the treatises were like the true interpretation of the sutras.
Mu Wanqing listened very carefully. The old monk spoke ten sutras and a hundred theories. After he finished speaking, the mountain people gradually dispersed, but she still sat there motionless.
The old monk looked at her and said, "Donor Mu has the root of wisdom."
Mu Wanqing shook her head and said, "Master, I don't want to become a monk."
The old monk laughed and said, "Who says that if you have wisdom, you have to become a monk? Cultivation is not limited to the temple or outside the temple, nor is it limited to the secular world or the Buddhist world."
Mu Wanqing blinked and said, "Master, I understand. I can practice at home."
The old monk asked, "Donor Mu, have you gone to your friend's place to get the black horse back?"
Mu Wanqing shook her head: "I have to wait a while before I go. My mother is always difficult to talk to and won't let me go down the mountain. But she often talks about going to Dali City, saying that I should go there when it gets warmer. It's just the right time for me to go to Song State to get a horse."
The old monk nodded and said: "The black horse is extraordinary, it is best to keep it in the mountains, don't let it wander outside."
Mu Wanqing asked in confusion: "Master, isn't Black Rose a wild horse? What's so special about her?"
The old monk closed his eyes slightly and said: "It is said that in Shambhala there are black horses that are like black jade, eyes like agate, hooves like obsidian, running like clouds, coming and going like wind, and they are extraordinary and magical."
Mu Wanqing was surprised and said, "Shambhala? Isn't that the legendary pure and beautiful land? But Black Rose is indeed different from other horses. Its eyes are pure black, so I named it Black Rose. Could it be that it really came from the peaceful and pure land of Shambhala?"
The old monk said: "Any perfect place, an ideal country, a mysterious pure land, without pain and suffering, peaceful and tranquil, is Shambhala, not necessarily the Pure Land of Amitabha Buddha."
Mu Wanqing was a little confused: "Master, Black Rose... comes from such a beautiful place?"
The old monk nodded, then shook his head: "I am just guessing, but if my guess is true, it would be best not to let it be contaminated by the outside world, and let it return to this mountain to preserve its authenticity."
Mu Wanqing thought for a moment and said, "I will bring it back, please rest assured, Master."
The old monk stood up from the bluestone and said, "Donor Mu, please remember this."
Watching the old monk slowly enter the temple, Mu Wanqing was stunned for a while, then walked towards home. Halfway there, she suddenly stopped and thought for a moment, then set foot on another path leading into the mountain.
Not long after, she came to a beautiful place and stopped there. This was where she used to play with Black Rose.
There were green forests and mountain streams, birds singing, and rabbits popping out from the grass from time to time. Everything was peaceful and beautiful.
Mu Wanqing sat by the stream, watching the fish playing and shrimps diving in the water, feeling a little confused. The figure of Zhao Ti appeared in front of her, and she couldn't help but bite her lip lightly under her veil.
Even if she went to Dali with her mother after some time, her mother would not easily ask her to go to Song State. She would either go with her or leave a letter and go alone, but her mother would definitely catch up with her.
She was thinking about it and her mind was in a state of confusion when she suddenly heard the faint sound of hurried footsteps.
Looking up, I saw a figure running towards me from the depths of the mountains in the distance.
The figure was very fast when first seen, but gradually for some reason it slowed down and began to stagger.
Mu Wanqing saw that the man was a middle-aged man, dressed in rather strange clothes, neither the clothes worn in the mountains nor those worn outside the mountains. He wore a long robe with wide sleeves, an old and dark color, and a very wide belt around his waist, which made him look quite cumbersome.
When the man saw Mu Wanqing, he suddenly shouted, "Help, help..."
Mu Wanqing thought he was being chased by some wolf, insect, tiger or leopard, so she stood up quickly and drew out her sword with a clang.
"Save me..." The man ran to the other side of the stream. Mu Wanqing frowned when she saw that there was no ferocious beast behind him.
But at this moment, she suddenly discovered that this man's appearance was different from when she first saw him just now. It seemed as if he had aged more than ten years. He had a black beard just now, but now it was somewhat gray.
"I, I..." The man looked at his face in the stream, then looked at Mu Wanqing, his face full of fear and panic. Mu Wanqing took a step back, a cold light flashing in her eyes: "Who are you? Where are you from..."
The man's face continued to age visibly, and he showed a look of despair, and his expression became somewhat dull.
Mu Wanqing held the sword across her chest. Her eyebrows turned pale as she watched the other person. She could not help but take two steps back: "You, who are you?"
The man gave a bitter smile and murmured, "Do you know where Changchun Valley is? I, I can't go back..."
"What Changchun Valley?" Mu Wanqing was full of vigilance behind her veil.
"Eternal Spring Valley, I, I ran out but couldn't find the way back..." The man's appearance had become that of a man in his seventies or eighties, with wrinkles all over his face and a hunched body.
Mu Wanqing's hand holding the sword trembled slightly, and she thought to herself, could it be that this person is some unorthodox practitioner who has practiced some evil kung fu and gone astray?
Just as she was about to release her hidden arrow to test, she saw the man on the other side of the stream suddenly yelled, opened his mouth and spit out a mouthful of teeth, then staggered down the stream.
Mu Wanqing hesitated for a few moments, then slowly followed along the side of the stream.
The bottom of the stream is a gentle slope, and the water flows down the slope. There is a cliff on the other side of the slope. When the man reaches the edge of the cliff, his body is shaky, as if he can no longer stand.
Seeing this, Mu Wanqing couldn't help but say, "Don't leave..."
The man was unsteady and unable to stop. He forced himself to look back at Mu Wanqing, but he looked very old, as if he was a hundred years old. Then he swayed a few times and fell straight down the cliff.
Mu Wanqing was stunned for a moment, then she crossed the stream and came to the cliff. She leaned forward slightly to look around, but saw only mist lingering at the bottom of the cliff, monkeys crying, and no trace of anything...
Huaixi Road, Dagu Mountain, dark clouds covering the moon, lights dim.
The masters of the thirty-six caves and the seventy-two islands all had expressions of shock on their faces, and some were even shaking slightly.
The master of the Red Flame Cave, the big-headed old man Duanmu Yuan, took a deep breath and said, "Can Qiansui remove the life and death talisman?"
Cheng Yuqing, the master of the Evil Wave Island in the East China Sea, said in a trembling voice: "Thousand Years Old, Thousand Years Old has unparalleled magical power. Could it be that he really has a way to deal with the Life and Death Talisman?"
Wu Xiong's expression changed drastically at this time, and he blushed and said, "What nonsense are you talking about? How dare you be so treasonous as to doubt the king? Didn't you just say that there is a way?"
At this time, the remaining cave masters and island masters all showed hope on their faces. Some of them, who had been tortured by the life and death talisman for a long time, stepped forward and knelt on the ground, saying, "Your Majesty, please help us remove the talisman. We will die for you and go through fire and water without hesitation."
Zhao Ti sat on the black rose and nodded. He did have a way to remove the life and death talisman.
The Life and Death Talisman is used to reverse the flow of true Qi, transforming the masculine energy into feminine energy, making the true Qi emitted from the palm of the hand several times colder than ice, and condensing the liquid into ice and injecting it into the enemy's body.
And on this piece of thin ice, there are varying amounts of masculine and feminine internal forces attached, sometimes three parts yang and seven parts yin, or six parts yin and four parts yang. Although there are only two energies, yin and yang, their order and amount are different, and they can be changed at will with countless variations.
If one wants to completely remove the life and death talisman, the normal method is to use the Tianshan Six Yang Palm, combined with the medical classics of Lingjiu Palace, to understand the different yin and yang of each life and death talisman and to create an antidote to completely eradicate it. Otherwise, ordinary antidotes will only relieve the symptoms in a short time and will not really cure the disease.
But this is the normal way to remove the Life and Death Talisman. After Zhao Ti returned to Tokyo from Shaolin Temple, he came up with another way to cure the Life and Death Talisman.
This method is actually very simple to say, but even Tong Lao can't do it. That is to directly use the Bei Ming Divine Art to absorb the true energy from the Life and Death Talisman, and then use the Phantom Yin True Qi to dissolve the coldness produced by the Life and Death Talisman.
Although he did not practice the Bei Ming Divine Art, he could use the Xiao Wu Xiang Gong to activate Bei Ming to absorb the same internal force, directly absorb the internal force attached to the Life and Death Talisman, and then use the Huan Yin Qi to dissolve the cold and yin aura in the body of the person who was hit by the talisman.
“I do have a way to remove the life and death talismans from your bodies, but…” Zhao Ti said slowly.
At this time, everyone in front had anxious expressions. When they heard Zhao Ti once again affirm that he could completely get rid of the life and death talisman, they couldn't help but get excited. But when they heard the other party say the word "but", they became confused and worried, as if they were afraid that there would be some problems with this matter and they couldn't do it.
"Your Majesty, but, but what..." Wu Xiong asked cautiously.
"But it's not that it can be removed immediately after the action is taken..." Zhao Ti shook his head: "The life and death talisman is not that simple. If it was that easy to remove, Tong Lao would not use it as a means to control you. Besides, there are so many of you, and we need to treat you one by one, which will take some time."
"Thousand Years Old, is it... that it will take some time?" Upon hearing this, Wu Xiong did not show any disappointment. Instead, his eyes became even more enthusiastic. Zhao Ti believed it more after he said this. If Zhao Ti directly took out some medicine and told them that the life and death talisman would be solved immediately after drinking it, he would definitely not dare to trust it in his heart.
At this time, everyone showed joy, and it was obvious that they had the same idea as Wu Xiong.
Zhao Ti nodded: "It will indeed take some time. This matter needs to be done by me personally. With so many of you, I am afraid it will take me a month to treat all of you. As for the removal, it will probably take one or two years. During this period, your life and death talismans may still flare up, but they will never be as painful as before, and they will not be fatal. If I am by your side, I can eliminate your pain."
"It was the King who did it himself?" Wu Xiong said in surprise. There were more than a hundred people, and it took only one month to treat each of them. In fact, it exceeded his expectation. He thought it would take a year or two to cure them all. And it would be absolutely perfect to eradicate it in one or two years. That was a life and death talisman. It was a blessing to be able to cure it in one or two years.
Everyone looked at each other and nodded, then saluted together: "We, the common people, ask the King to show us His Majesty's grace and heal us. We, the common people, are willing to obey His Majesty's orders and will not refuse even if it means death!"
Zhao Ti smiled upon hearing this, and then looked at Wu Xiong: "I see that you are the leader, so I will treat you here first. The others will follow me south and I will treat them one by one on the way."
Wu Xiong was overjoyed when he heard this and knelt down again: "Thank you very much, my Lord."
Zhao Ti nodded: "Get up and let me see you."
Wu Xiong climbed up, threw the Green Wave Fragrance Dew Knife far behind him, and then walked towards Zhao Ti's horse.
