This is so dishonest!

Chapter 492 The Dragon Clan's Bioengineering; The Use of the "Human Emperor's Banner"
Just as Yang Jian, under Xuan Qing's guidance, embarked on the righteous path.

Hundreds of millions of miles away, deep in the East China Sea.

Inside the Qiantian Palace.

Yang Jian's elder brother, Yang Jiao, is experiencing the most "exciting" and "outrageous" period of his cultivation life.

At that moment, he was wearing a white lab coat.

The gown was made of a unique silk fabric that was impervious to water and fire and untouched by dust. On the chest area, the seven large characters "Intern Researcher Yang Jiao" were embroidered crookedly with gold thread.

His hair was messy because it hadn't been styled for a long time, with a few unruly strands sticking up stubbornly.

His face was covered with several colorful stains of unknown origin, making him look quite disheveled.

The only commendable thing is that his already resolute eyes have become even more profound... and empty after this period of "cultivation".

In his hands, he was carefully holding a huge, translucent egg that was still pulsating slightly.

Within the egg, one could clearly see the outline of a curled-up, winged tiger-like creature.

"Prime Minister Turtle..."

Yang Jiao's voice trembled slightly, almost uncontrollably.

He felt his legs trembling slightly.

"Are you... are you sure you want to fuse the Dao genes of the 'Deep Sea Octopus' and the power-generating organs of the 'Tyrant Thunder Dragon' into this 'Flying White Tiger' embryo?"

As he spoke, he swallowed hard.

"These...these three creatures have completely opposite bloodlines and laws!"

"Their genetic chains will completely collapse due to the violent rejection reaction!"

"By then, forget about any super combat creatures; we'll probably only get a meaningless, foul-smelling pool of protein solution!"

In front of him, an elderly man, also dressed in a white lab coat but with an unusually hunched back and carrying a huge tortoise shell on his back, was lying on the lab table.

This old man is the master of Qiantian Palace, the first sage of the dragon race, a great inventor and a mad biologist—Prime Minister Turtle.

He wore a pair of glasses made of pure crystal, as thick as the bottom of a bottle.

At this moment, he was holding a delicate syringe that was crackling with electricity, staring at the huge egg in Yang Jiao's hand with a fanatical expression, his eyes flashing with a kind of mad light called "science".

Hearing Yang Jiao's question, which was full of scientific ethics and common sense, Prime Minister Gui impatiently raised his head and glanced at him.

"Little Jiao."

His voice was hoarse and drawn out, carrying an unquestionable authority.

"You are still too young and too naive."

"Who told you that we have to follow 'science' when we do research?"

He held up a finger covered in age spots and pointed to his head.

"What are the key principles of our dragon race's bioengineering?"

"Miracles happen with great effort!"

"It's metaphysics!"

"It's imagination!"

He then pointed to the egg in Yang Jiao's hand.

"Will the gene chain break down? Will the rejection reaction be severe?"

"It's no big deal!"

"Come on, hold it down, don't let it move around."

As he spoke, he slowly aimed the syringe in his hand at the embryo that was struggling violently.

"As long as I administer this injection of gene-stabilizing fluid, which contains the true meaning of the Great Dao of 'unity of the four seas', I will be able to achieve my goal."

"Don't even mention the genes of just three creatures, even if you stuffed the genes of the phoenix, the qilin, and the taotie into it all at once."

"It also has to behave itself and merge into a completely new and great species!"

"This is the unique feature of our Qiantian Palace!"

"—Unreasonable!"

Having said that, he ignored Yang Jiao's completely stunned expression.

Suddenly, a needle was plunged in!
Zizzi——!
Accompanied by a piercing crackling sound of electricity, and the embryo emitting a mournful cry like that of a baby.

The entire laboratory was instantly enveloped in a blinding beam of light.

Yang Jiao felt a sudden white light before his eyes, and then an irresistible shockwave sent him flying.

Boom!

He drew a beautiful parabola in the air.

Then, it crashed heavily onto a small hill made of the bones of various strange creatures in the distance.

"Cough cough cough..."

Yang Jiao, covered in dust and dirt, crawled out of the pile of bones.

He felt that there was no part of his body that wasn't in pain.

He looked at the lab bench, which had been completely blown to rubble, leaving only a pool of indescribable, viscous liquid that smelled of burnt wood.

Then he looked at the Turtle Prime Minister, who was standing in the middle of the ruins, his hair and beard blown up by the explosion, his face blackened, but still showing a relieved smile that said, "Just as I expected."

Two lines of clear tears involuntarily streamed down Yang Jiao's face.

He misses his mother.

He missed his gentle mother.

He also missed his father, who, although not very capable, was at least normal.

He also thought of his second brother, Yang Jian, who was said to have become a disciple of the Chan Sect's sage and should be enjoying a life of immortality in a blessed land.

And then there's his younger sister, Yang Chan, whose whereabouts are still unknown, but who is probably doing better than him.

After experiencing the tragedy of his family being destroyed, he was taken back to the East Sea Dragon Palace by Meng Zhang, the God Lord, who is also the Azure Dragon Ancestor.

Although the early days were filled with hardships and trials, he felt that it was all worthwhile.

He became stronger; he possessed the power of revenge.

until……

Until the White Dragon Ancestor, that incredibly beautiful but seemingly somewhat cunning elder of the dragon race, smiled and sent him to this Qiantian Palace.

since that day.

His world completely collapsed.

Here, he no longer learns the normal methods of meditation, breath control, and spiritual cultivation.

But...

"On how to transform a carp into a biological warship capable of deep-sea diving and equipped with the Dragon King Cannon through gene grafting and magical artifact fusion technology."

Three-Day Crash Course! Learn Xenobiology and Neuronal Harboring Surgery from Scratch.

And then there was that extraordinary book, written by the Turtle Prime Minister himself, the one that haunted his nightmares every night—

The Art of Hybridization: Exploring the Infinite Possibilities from Microorganisms to Chaos Gods.

His sparring partners were no longer those powerful dragon warriors.

Instead, it's a group of...

A group of bizarre and grotesque failed experiments "created" by the Turtle Prime Minister, full of "artistic flair".

For example, there's that mutated starfish with crab claws that can mimic the call of a cuckoo.

For example, there's the hydra with eight heads, but each head thinks differently, and when they fight, they can argue with themselves for three hours straight... no, it's an eight-headed hydra.

He even witnessed the Turtle Prime Minister testing the effects of a new type of "Dragon Clan-specific stimulant".

They forcefully poured an entire tank of medicine down the throat of a giant deep-sea whale, whose size was comparable to a mountain.

Then, in a state of extreme excitement after taking the drug, the giant whale danced the hula all day long...

That mesmerizing dance, that soaring voice…

This caused indelible psychological trauma to the young Yang Jiao.

"Ugh……"

Yang Jiao sat on the pile of bones and let out a sigh of despair for the 499th time.

He felt that if he stayed here any longer...

Let alone rescuing my mother and avenging my father.

He himself would probably be sent to the Dragon Clan's "Mental Illness Sanatorium" first because of his mental instability.

Just then, a clear and melodious voice suddenly rang out above his head.

"Hey, little dragon, got blown away again?"

Yang Jiao looked up and saw a woman in a white dress, with stunningly beautiful features and a cool demeanor, holding a thick stack of jade slips, hovering gracefully in front of him.

That woman was none other than the "culprit" who sent him to this place—the White Dragon Ancestor.

"Hakuryu...Teacher..."

Yang Jiao greeted them listlessly.

Looking at his lifeless appearance, Bai Long's lips curled up slightly, and a mischievous smile flashed in his eyes.

She handed the jade slip in her hand to Yang Jiao.

"Here, this is a new research topic that the Prime Minister asked me to give you."

Upon hearing this, alarm bells immediately went off in Yang Jiao's mind.

He trembled as he reached out and took the stack of jade slips.

The top volume had several large, bold characters written in a flamboyant style that sent chills down his spine—

Feasibility report on how to capture a remnant soul of a Chaos Demon God and perfectly fuse it with the body of a loach.

Yang Jiao: "..."

Everything went black before his eyes.

He felt that he might... really not be able to hold on and see the sunrise tomorrow.

~~~~~
A magical and wondrous space.
The chaotic air currents that were originally as thick and turbulent as ink now seem to have been infused with unprecedented vitality and energy.
One after another, streams of primordial Dao energy, representing perfection and immortality, lit up and rose like brilliant stars in this ancient and desolate space.
The entire space was thus illuminated with a dazzling array of lights and colors.
The roar of the laws was no longer a chaotic collision, but transformed into a harmonious symphony like the heavenly music of the Great Dao, praising the birth of a newly powerful being.
Since that cooperation that determined the future of the era was reached, with the tireless help of Tiandao Jing, the former "Dao Ancestor".
The ancient chaotic demons present finally broke through the barrier that had plagued them for countless years, and their strength experienced an explosive leap forward.
The chains of law surrounding the [Contract Demon God] are no longer a constraint, but have transformed into a code of order. Each rustling sound seems to proclaim the rules of all things in the world.
The Chaos God within the Fire Demon God's body burned away the last trace of impurity, sublimating into the End Flame, a flame that embodies both creation and destruction, capable of scorching the heavens and boiling the seas in an instant.
The figure of the 【Wisdom Demon God】, shrouded in starlight, became even more profound and unfathomable, as if it had merged with the infinite information of all the heavens and myriad worlds. Every thought of its was a perfect deduction comparable to the operation of the Heavenly Dao.
Among them, those ancient beings with the deepest accumulation have successively knocked on that long-awaited door and reaffirmed the indestructible and eternally immortal Primordial Dao Fruit!
Meanwhile, another, even grander and more taboo plan was also underway.
The Heavenly Dao Spirit, with his supreme authority that had once merged with the Heavenly Dao, joined forces with the many Primordial Chaos-level demon gods present.
Together they deduced and traced back time, from the ceaseless river of fate, from the omnipresent laws of heaven and earth, and even from their own memories.
The Dao imprints of those demon gods who had been deliberately erased, suppressed, or even completely lost by the Heavenly Dao and the saints of the Primordial True Realm were meticulously reproduced and peeled back, thread by thread.
This is an unimaginably vast project.
It was as if they were facing a completely erased painting, relying on memory and remaining traces to recreate the magnificent and splendid patterns that once existed.
After these incomplete yet still powerful Dao imprints were successfully replicated, they used them as a foundation, like creator gods, to begin cultivating a new batch of demon gods belonging to this era.
Within that primordial furnace ignited by the divine fire of chaos, new true spirits are being nurtured and enlightened.
A Dao fruit containing the essence of "seeing through the past and reflecting reality" was successfully condensed.
It is searching for an inheritor whose mind is like a mirror, capable of bearing all the memories of the world.
A new era of the "Memory Demon" is about to be born.
A black hole, representing the primordial principle of "devouring all things and returning to nothingness," slowly took shape in the furnace.
It is waiting for a soul with endless greed and desire to ignite it completely.
A new era of the [Devouring Demon God] is being conceived.
A verdant seedling, rooted in chaos yet with branches and leaves seemingly connecting to all the heavens and the myriad worlds, broke through the soil.
The new era of the [Wood Demon God] reveals its vitality.
An invisible and formless net, seemingly capable of encompassing everything and predicting all things, quietly unfolds.
The new era's [Celestial Demon God] has begun to weave the destiny of the future.
Even the supreme authority over life and creation was forcibly extracted from the primordial cycle of the Heavenly Dao in an inconceivable way, giving rise to new seeds.
These new demon gods, though born from the grand and powerful path of the old demon gods, are to walk a completely different path, a new path belonging to this new era.
They may not be able to compare with those peak demon gods who were already established as patriarchs and founders in the chaos in the short term.
However, Tiandao Jing's heart was filled with unprecedented confidence.
He believed that with his guidance and the full support of so many veteran demon gods present, he could succeed.
After sufficient time for refinement and improvement.
These new generation's rising stars will one day surpass their predecessors who have been swept away by the tide.
Of course, everything has its advantages and disadvantages.
If these new-era demons can truly grow and rise successfully.
Therefore, they will inevitably and completely occupy the ecological niche of the laws that originally belonged to those old-era demon gods.
For those Chaos Gods who were lucky enough to survive and are still alive, this is manageable.
At worst, you'll just have one more "fellow Daoist" on your own path, someone who makes you feel a little uncomfortable and who occasionally tries to steal your livelihood.
However, for those demon gods who had already been suppressed or had completely perished, this was truly unfortunate. The birth and rise of new demon gods was like a series of huge and sturdy spikes.
The more powerful they are, the more numerous and secure the nails will be driven into the coffins of those old demon gods.
This means that those fallen predecessors will have absolutely no chance of rising again in this era.
"Ha ha ha ha……"
Within this strange space, laughter and joy filled the air, a testament to the bountiful harvest.
The loud and rough laughter of the [Fire Demon God] almost made the entire space vibrate.
He laughed heartily as he patted Tiandao Jing's shoulder hard, so hard that the latter couldn't help but grimace.
"Fellow Daoist Hongjun! No, I should now address you as Fellow Daoist Junheng!"
His face, made of flames, was filled with undisguised excitement and admiration.
"You're something else! Back in the chaos, I knew you were the most troublemaker, and I never imagined that after all these years, your ability to cause trouble would only increase!"
"Back then, we brothers were utterly defeated by that bastard Pangu. We didn't even dare to dream of achieving the Primordial Dao!"
"I never expected this! I've been working for you for so long, and I've already easily attained the Primordial Dao Fruit!"
His words immediately resonated with all the newly ascended Hunyuan Demon Gods present.
"Who says it isn't?"
The figure of the [Water Demon God], rippling like water, also emitted a wave of emotion.
"Back then, we had the Great Dao within us, but we were suppressed by the laws of heaven and earth of this era. We were like walking on thin ice, afraid that we would accidentally invite a great calamity and die and have our Dao destroyed."
"Now, with the help of fellow Daoists, we have finally broken through the clouds and seen the blue sky, standing upright and proud once again in the Primordial Chaos Realm. This feeling is truly exhilarating!"
Hearing the praise from everyone, Tiandao Jing also showed a bright smile.
He waved his hand, feigning modesty, and said, "Fellow Daoists, you flatter me, you flatter me."
"This is not my achievement alone, but the result of our collective efforts."
He looked around at the newly sprouted seeds of the demon god, full of infinite possibilities, his eyes gleaming with wisdom.
"Furthermore, what we have achieved so far is but the first step in a long march of ten thousand miles compared to our grand ultimate goal."
Upon hearing this, the Contract Demon God slowly nodded, and a rare smile of approval appeared on his solemn and serious face.
“Fellow Daoist Balance is absolutely right.”
He spoke in a deep voice, his tone as authoritative as a legal code.
"Attaining the Dao of Hunyuan is not the end, but a brand new beginning."
"This means that we finally have the qualifications and resources to directly compete with the top powerhouses of the primordial world."
"The road ahead is still long, and we must work together to realize our ultimate wish of 'tainting the primordial world with demons and reshaping chaos'."
"That's right!"
The figure hidden in the shadows, the "Shadow Demon," also spoke in a hoarse but firm voice.
"Now, we have a strong and well-equipped army, and new forces are being nurtured. It is a time when morale is high."
"Fellow Daoist Balance, what should we do next?"
"Should we continue to build up our strength and proceed steadily, or..."
Although he didn't finish his sentence, the burning desire for revenge that had been suppressed for countless years was already evident in his tone.
All the demons and gods turned their gazes to this de facto "leader of the alliance"—the Heavenly Dao Spirit.
Looking at the expectant and fervent eyes of the crowd, Tiandao Jing felt an unprecedented surge of pride.
Once upon a time, he was besieged by the gods of Taiwei and fled the prehistoric world in a sorry state, like a stray dog.
Now, however, he has transformed himself into the helmsman of this immense power that is capable of overturning the entire era's格局 (geju, a concept encompassing the overall structure and overall structure of the era).
He took a deep breath, suppressed his excitement, and put on a confident and composed expression.
"Fellow Daoists, please calm down."
"Eat your food one bite at a time and walk your journey one step at a time."
"Although our strength has greatly increased, the waters of the primordial world are still very deep."
"Especially those guys from Taiwei Yuan, they're all as cunning as foxes, we must be wary of them."
He paused, then changed the subject, raising a completely new topic.
"Before we discuss our next macro strategy, I have a small suggestion that I would like to hear your opinions."
"Oh? Fellow Daoist, please speak freely." The cool voice of the [Wisdom Demon God] rang out; she was always so rational and calm.
The Heavenly Dao Spirit's gaze slowly swept over each of the demon gods present, then, in a tactful tone tinged with regret and a hint of probing, it slowly spoke:
"Now, the great paths of many fellow Daoists, such as destruction, reincarnation, and devouring, have all found new successors."
"The only thing we haven't found a successor for Fellow Daoist Shichen is..."
"This person was already a recognized powerhouse back in the Chaos Era."
"I wonder... should we also build a new era raft for Fellow Daoist Shichen?"
His meaning was clear.
The Time Demon God, as one of the most recognized top powerhouses since the Chaos Era, is undoubtedly powerful and important.
But now, His situation is arguably the most miserable of all the demon gods.
Not only did they die young and thoroughly, but they also became the cornerstone supporting the operation of the long river of time and space.
The hope for recovery is extremely slim.
Since that's the case, instead of pinning our hopes on this almost impossible dream, we should find another way.
By gathering the power of all the demon gods present, and using the Dao imprint left by the Time Demon God as the core, a new era Time Demon God was forcibly created.
Even if this newly born demon god cannot fully inherit all the power of Fellow Daoist Shichen back then, as long as he can inherit a part of his divine abilities related to the Great Dao of Time.
That would be an immeasurable boost to their future plans.
However, Tiandao Jing's suggestion did not immediately receive everyone's approval.
Upon hearing this, the Contract Demon God fell into a long silence.
His stern face was constantly shifting in expression, as if he were making extremely complex decisions and considerations.
In the end, he slowly shook his head.
"Regarding the matter of the Great Dao of Time, I think... it's best to put it on hold for now."
He spoke after a moment's thought, his tone carrying an undeniable decisiveness.
“Fellow Daoist Shichen is different from other fallen Daoists.”
"The Great Way that He upholds is too special and too important."
"If we were to forcibly bring forth the Time Demon God of the new era, it would be tantamount to completely extinguishing Fellow Daoist Time's last hope of revival."
However, at this moment, the [Shadow Demon] offered a completely different perspective.
His figure, hidden in the shadows, swayed slightly, and a hoarse voice advised, "Fellow Daoist, in my opinion, this matter... perhaps doesn't need to be so pessimistic."
"Let's try to think about it from a different perspective."
"With Fellow Daoist Shichen's extraordinary abilities back then, if He truly had a chance to revive, then no matter how slim that hope might be, He would eventually be able to revive."
"After all, for Him, time is always on His side."
"How could a mere newly born Time Demon truly stop His return?"
"So, the tiny nail we're hammering into him now is probably nothing to His magnificent being."
The words of the Shadow Demon God seem to make some sense.
For a time, the demons split into two factions and argued endlessly.
Just then, the eyes of the [Wise Demon God], which had been listening quietly without offering any opinion, twitched slightly.
With a cool and rational voice, she brought a temporary end to the debate.
"Wait a minute."
she says.
"The Great Way of Time is far-reaching and should not be touched lightly."
"If in the future we are fortunate enough to find the complete Dao Fruit left behind by Fellow Daoist Shichen, or the innate divine artifact that carries its core Dao."
"By then, it will not be too late for us to use this as a foundation to create a new era of Time God."
"In this way, we can ensure the potential and purity of the newborn demon god, and also minimize the possibility of unpredictable conflicts with Fellow Daoist Shichen in the future."
Both Wisdom and Contract, who wield significant influence within the Demon God faction, explicitly expressed their opposition.
Seeing this, the Heavenly Dao Spirit could only shrug helplessly and give up.
"Alright, then let's do as you two fellow Daoists say."
He sighed, a look of regret on his face.
"However, Fellow Daoist Shichen's legacy is really too difficult to find!"
"Who says it isn't?"
The Demon God of Fire, standing to the side, slapped his thigh in deep agreement.
"I still can't figure out how that guy Shen Ni managed to pull Fellow Daoist Shi Chen's ribs out of the River of Time back then?"
"And what was the result? After all that effort, wasn't it still snatched away by that treacherous Luo Hou, making a complete waste for the demonic path?"
Upon hearing this, the Heavenly Dao Spirit slightly curled its lip and added:
"It's more than just a wedding dress being made for someone else."
"Based on what I saw from the original information of the primordial Heavenly Dao when I merged with the Heavenly Dao."
"Now, in the Netherworld, the Three Lives Stone, which guards the core of the Six Paths of Reincarnation and reflects the past and present lives of all beings, was originally formed from a piece of Fellow Daoist Shichen's rib."
As he spoke, he revealed an eager expression.
"To be honest, if we weren't worried that taking action now would alert the enemy and completely expose our grand plan."
"I even considered taking you guys with me to launch a surprise attack on the Underworld and snatch that Three Lives Stone back!"
"A surprise attack on the underworld?"
Upon hearing these four words, all the Chaos Gods present exchanged bewildered glances.
A look of apprehension appeared on their faces simultaneously.
Deep down, they don't think it's a good choice.
Back then, the [Reincarnation Demon God] didn't believe in evil and wanted to seize the reincarnation power of the primordial world. As a result, he was completely manipulated by the mysterious and unpredictable Underworld Emperor, and in the end, he even lost himself.
Although, in terms of the outcome, the [Reincarnation Demon God] has achieved his goal, becoming an indispensable part of the Great Reincarnation System in the Primordial World in an alternative way, thus realizing a "roundabout way to achieve his goal".
But this tragic event is enough to prove to everyone that the Netherworld is definitely not so easy to conquer!
"You've mentioned reincarnation..."
Just then, in the void of the strange space, the [Water Demon God] suddenly spoke up, raising a completely new topic.
"I just remembered something."
"Now, the primordial world is in the golden age of the development of humanity."
"I suppose those demonic cultivators who followed the Cycle of Reincarnation and chose to cooperate with Nuwa and Fuxi have already successfully reincarnated into the human race, right?"
The will of the [Water Demon God] slowly resonated in the hearts of every demon god.
"I'm wondering if we could find these fellow cultivators who have already successfully 'landed' on the other side?"
"And then, through them, indirectly intervene in the course of the humane world?"
The "landing faction" of the demons is also divided into several different schools.
One group is the radical faction, represented by Xing Tian, the "Demon God of War".
They wanted to use their powerful strength, with a completely new identity, to carve out their own place on this new stage of the Primordial True World.
And based on this, they reached the pinnacle of this era.
The other option is to choose the path of reincarnation, completely abandoning one's former identity as a chaotic demon god.
Through reincarnation, they integrate into the emerging races of the primordial world, becoming part of the rise of humanity, and thereby gaining the fortune of the new era, thus achieving their own transcendence.
Today, an immense amount of time has passed since the earliest group of demons and gods formed a partnership with Nuwa and Fuxi.
They should have already successfully reincarnated into the human realm through the cycle of rebirth, and boarded the fast ship of this great era of humanity, entering a completely new stage of development.
Upon hearing the suggestion from the Water Demon God, the eyes of all the demon gods present lit up.
Yup!
How could they forget about this!
They all turned their gazes toward the Heavenly Dao Essence.
“Fellow Daoist Balance, you once merged with the Primordial Heavenly Dao and held the power of the Heavenly Dao.”
"I wonder if you have any way to find those fellow demon gods who have successfully reincarnated from the vast river of human destiny?"
Upon hearing this, the Heavenly Dao Spirit revealed a mysterious yet confident smile.
He chuckled and thumped his chest loudly.
"Haha! Fellow Daoists, you've come to the right person!"
"I might not be able to guarantee anything about other things."
"But I really can do this for you!"
Whoops! !
Before he could finish speaking, Tiandao Jing suddenly waved his hand.
The [Human Emperor Banner], which he had been carrying on his shoulder and which was shrouded in boundless purple energy, flew out with a whoosh.
The banner fluttered in the wind in mid-air, instantly becoming so large that it blotted out the sky.
The Heavenly Dao Spirit pointed at the divine artifact, a knowing smile spreading across its face.
"Finding those reincarnated fellow Daoists is just a trivial matter that I can do on the spur of the moment."
"Perfect timing! We can use this opportunity, with this divine artifact as the core, to officially launch our plan to intervene in the great human world!"
"For our own sake, let's plan for a throne of human emperor that truly belongs to our lineage of demon gods!"
