Chapter 4 Her Transformation
Pei Zhiyi clutched his still aching chest and shook his head: "No."

It was an unbearable pain, as if at this moment, she completely understood what it felt like to lose her parents.

Pei Dao looked at Pei Zhiyi's expression carefully and confirmed that she did not look like she remembered anything.

She was still sobbing, her thin body huddled together, her long hair disheveled, her fair skin almost transparent, and she looked thin and pitiful.

He reached out and stroked her back, whispering to her in comfort: "Zhiyi, don't cry. Your parents definitely don't want to see you like this."

A surge of anger surged in Pei Zhiyi's heart. She was angry, angry about what she had just heard, and angry that she couldn't even clarify what she had just heard at this time.

No matter what, she is not clear about this world or the Pei family now, so she cannot act rashly.

The strong anger made her tremble even more, but Pei Dao just thought she was still crying and continued to pat her: "Don't think about it."

"You don't even know that the doctor said you were so exhausted that you fainted. I was scared to death."

Pei Zhiyi's sanity gradually returned. When he heard Pei Dao's words, his eyes darkened. Tears no longer welled up in his dark eyes, but a hint of mockery flashed across them.

Whether he is being insincere or sincere, I'm afraid only he himself knows.

"Have you comforted Shi Min and the others today?" Seeing Pei Zhiyi's emotions gradually calming down, Pei Dao asked again, otherwise why would she faint from overdrawn for no reason.

Pei Zhiyi looked at his worried face and nodded slightly: "Well, I met with the group after school."

She now completely distrusted Pei Dao, so naturally she would not tell him how she used her mental power.

She didn't believe Pei Dao would dare to ask if she could blame this matter on Shi Min and the others.

Sure enough, after hearing this, Pei Dao stopped asking.

Because of the sudden fainting, Pei Zhiyi rested at home for a few more days.

Pei Zhiyi never had that kind of dream again, but knowing that Pei Dao was hiding it from her, she unconsciously started to study harder.

Although Omegas in this world are physically weaker, they are more popular because they can soothe Alpha's violent mental power.

There is also a job called comfort officer. As long as you graduate normally and submit a job application, you can get the job, and even get a good monthly salary, which is enough to support an Omega's normal life.

So she just had to grab what she had and what she could do.

Obviously, getting a diploma would be a huge benefit to her.

But there is an obvious problem at the moment. Her head is empty and she doesn’t know any of the previous knowledge points. She has to learn them now.

The Federal Military Academy is a five-year program, and there are still two years to get a diploma. However, Pei Zhiyi made some inquiries and found out that the credits will basically be completed after one and a half years, and the remaining half year is purely for students to use as a transition.

Both the practical scores in the joint entrance examination and the scores in general education courses are very important to Pei Zhiyi.

There will be new courses next semester. If she misses this half year, she doesn’t know what situation she will face in the new year.

So she didn't dare to relax for a moment. She studied whenever she had time. Even if she was lying in bed, she had to memorize those unfamiliar knowledge points. Fortunately, she felt that she should have learned them before, so she always felt familiar with them and it was not too difficult for her to study.

While resting, she spread out her mental power, just like she had used it before to explore various places, trying to hear some more information.

As for what Pei Dao said about seducing Shi Min and the others.

Pei Zhiyi just felt that it was impossible, absolutely impossible.

Not to mention that Pei Zhiyi would never agree with Pei Dao's wishes.

Just looking at their attitude towards an Omega, it is not something that ordinary people can bear.

What's more, Pei Zhiyi's current goal is to get a graduation certificate. The groups have been paired up now, and she is the one who wants to get credits. If Shi Min and the others kick her out of the team at this juncture, Pei Zhiyi doesn't know whether the four of them can get credits, but she certainly can't.

Therefore, in order not to be disliked, Pei Zhiyi made up her mind to stay low. She would stay low until she earned enough credits and parted ways with the people in the team. Then they would go their way and she would go her way.

Having made up his mind, Pei Zhiyi did not rest at all during the few days of rest at home. He studied during the day, ate nutritious meals and vitamins, and exercised every day when the sun set.

She still remembered that she had promised Shi Min and the others that she would exercise well.

If nothing else, it would be good for her if she was in good health. Without a healthy body, she wouldn't be able to deal with Pei Dao.

Pei Dao sometimes came back late in the afternoon. Seeing Pei Zhiyi still exercising, he couldn't help but say, "Zhiyi, you've only been awake for a few days. Don't work so hard."

There were servants at home monitoring him, and he also knew how hard Pei Zhiyi studied every day, almost forgetting to eat and sleep.

She had someone call her to eat at the specified time, and determined the nutritional income of the meals every day. After exercising, she would go to bed at the time she arranged.

I live a very healthy life, but it is too well arranged. It requires great self-control to follow this process completely.

She has been persisting since she woke up. She doesn't know what she will be like when she goes to school in a few days.

Pei Dao only felt that even though Pei Zhiyi had lost his memory, his personality was no different from before. He looked lazy on weekdays, but at the critical moment, he would never let down.

Pei Zhiyi heard what he said, stopped and said: "Brother, Shi Min and the others asked me to exercise, otherwise I would be the first to be eliminated."

When Pei Zhiyi lowered his voice a little, he seemed a little timid and pitiful.

Pei Dao's brows instantly frowned.

There is no Alpha who asks Omega to exercise. As we all know, Omega's physical condition is far inferior to that of Alpha, and there is even a big gap compared with Betas.

If it weren't for the ability to soothe Alpha's mind and body through mental power and pheromones, Omegas would never be arranged to take the joint entrance examination.

In general, the Omega in a team is just a mascot, hidden somewhere and used when needed. Alphas will never make any demands on the Omega.

Especially the issue of pheromones. Once the Omega's pheromones get out of control, it can easily affect the Alphas and make them go into heat like wild beasts, so it is even more taboo.

Pei Dao had never heard Shi Min and the others have any requirements for Omegas' physical strength before.

He glanced at Pei Zhiyi who had just finished exercising. The girl's gray T-shirt on the back was slightly wet, and sweat from her hair and temples flowed down her neck. She was obviously very tired, but her clear and bright black eyes did not show any sign of giving up. Instead, she was actively adjusting her breathing.

Pei Dao’s brows furrowed even more tightly.

For a moment, I didn't know whether Pei Zhiyi should continue exercising.

Shi Min and the others simply didn't treat her as an Omega.

But then Pei Dao realized a problem, Pei Zhiyi had no pheromones.

They may not really treat Pei Zhiyi as an Omega, but like a Beta.

For Alphas, an Omega without pheromones is like a complete loss of sexual temptation.

Thinking about what he had told Pei Zhiyi, Pei Dao, with a stern face, did not say anything to ask Pei Zhiyi to stop, but instead crossed his arms and watched her exercise.

The last kilometer took twelve minutes. After finishing it, Pei Zhiyi felt that his legs were as soft as if he was walking on clouds.

"Let's go and have dinner." Pei Diao's brows relaxed slightly. Seeing that Pei Zhiyi had finished exercising, he invited her to the table.

Pei Dao had specifically arranged for today's meal, and most of the food on the table was Pei Zhiyi's favorite.

This seemed like supporting evidence that in this interstellar age where nutrient solutions were prevalent, Pei Dao would specially ask someone to cook dishes that she really liked.

Pei Zhiyi's eyes were dim as he stared at the squirrel fish wrapped in sweet and sour sauce placed in the center.
