Hong Kong General: Rebirth of Rage, Rising from Prison

Chapter 2 You always sue this and that. Is the Department of Justice yours?

Chapter 2 You always sue this and that. Is the Department of Justice yours?
"Mr. Cheng, you have been beaten in prison, but you are still so naive?"

Chen Shixian shook his head and laughed suddenly.

"What do you mean?"

Cheng An frowned, looking unhappy. He was just giving a kind reminder, but the other party didn't seem to appreciate it.

Chen Shixian didn't even raise his eyelids, and continued to smoke, with the mist spraying out between his words:

"Wherever there are people, there are rivers and lakes."

"Even security guards who have a little power in their hands will treat chicken feathers as their authority."

"In a place like prison, the green-clad have absolute power, and prisoners have no human rights."

"The warden comes to inspect every day, and senior officials come to inspect every month. On the first day we came in, we were told that we could raise any opinions. The Corrections Department is very democratic."

"But if the application is useful, you can still see me here?"

"It's just a superficial job. If you take it seriously, you're a fool!"

In prison, the one wearing the hat has the highest authority, and the county magistrate is not as good as the current one. This rule is vividly reflected in prison.

What laws and rules are in here? They are just pieces of waste paper, all bullshit. It's too much to even wipe your butt with them.

What's more, Chen Shixian and his men were originally police officers.

Not only are they hated by prisoners in prison, but in front of their colleagues, they are also regarded as the shame of the police force. Without such a reputation, they are nothing and naturally unwelcome.

The special detention lasted only two months.

This kind of special care is no longer available.

Of course they appealed, but to no avail.

The prisoners in prison include some community members, lawyers, designers, journalists, psychologists, and police officers like them.

No matter what your identity is outside, no matter how respectable it is.

Once you enter Stanley, you have only one identity: a prisoner, no one is an exception.

After listening to this, Cheng An looked at Chen Shixian with a little more sympathy.

Compared with police officers like Chen Shixian who were imprisoned without any special protection, Cheng An felt that his situation was much better.

The corner of Chen Shixian's mouth twitched slightly.

"Diao, what does your expression mean when you look at my miserable life and you feel much better?"

It turns out that human joys and sorrows are not shared.

But the tragedies are comparable.

Cheng An seemed to have made up his mind and said to Feiji Mu: "Brother Feiji, I decided to write Duo as a raw fish."

"Xie Duo" is the slang in Stanley, which means writing down the home address and marking the amount of money to be paid.

The officer will go to your house to collect the money, and will give you some after receiving it.

Fish that can earn money are called live fish, and fish that cannot earn money are called dead fish.

Of course, being a live fish is more caring than being a dead fish.

Cheng An had previously idealistically insisted on so-called upright practices, which offended the prison guards, made him a dead fish, and was often targeted.

So the section chief was inhumanely making things difficult for him and refused to approve leave for him to attend the funeral. After having died once, he finally came to his senses and wanted to be a raw fish.

Chen Shixian came from an ordinary family, was just a village boy, had both his parents died, and was like a dead fish.

Qiu Gangao and others were not from wealthy families and could not withstand the long-term plundering by the prison guards.

This is also one of the reasons why they had a hard time in Stanley.

"Anzi, you finally figured it out!"

"It's no wonder I ate more than a dozen chili peppers and pretended to be sick because my tongue was swollen from the spiciness."

"Yes, that's right. It's better to live a miserable life than to die. Two years and three months is only 700 days. It's only this much time to go to the United States or Canada. Just endure it and it will be over soon."

"People like us who are sentenced to ten years or life imprisonment still have a long way to go."

Feijimu smiled and started to talk.

"Bang!"

The iron door vibrated and the sound of unlocking was heard.

"The four-eyed supervisor is here."

Someone whispered a reminder.

There was an instant commotion in the ward.

Those who were reading tricolor magazines, playing graffiti cards, and smoking all hid themselves in a hurry.

Chen Shixian calmly put out the cigarette butt and stuffed it into the pillow.

Feijimu immediately threw the cigarette butt on the ground, crushed it with his foot and kicked it under the bed, then waved his hand to fan away the smoke in front of him.

"What are you doing? Do you think the infirmary is a resort and have a tea party?" The bespectacled supervisor, who was not tall and wore a pair of glasses and had a pointed face and a white coat casually on his body, glared at everyone as he entered the ward.

Then he stretched out his finger and randomly pointed at a few people, including Cheng An:
"You, you, and you. One of you mops the floor, one sweeps the toilet, and one wipes the bed frame."

"The warden will come to inspect later. If there's anything you don't do well, lick it clean!"

This tough attitude immediately caused dissatisfaction and complaints from the patients.

"Are you kidding me, supervisor? We are patients, and you want us to work?"

"Outside, the elderly, the weak, the sick and the disabled are given priority, but inside, the sick have to work too. It's miserable!"

"In this damn place, you have to bear minor illnesses, and wait until you die of serious illnesses. There's no medicine, and no one cares if you die of illness!"

When Feijimu saw that Cheng An was included, he quickly pleaded for mercy.

"Manager, please help me. Cheng An has lost too much blood and can't even get out of bed."

"If you like dogs meddling in other people's business, it's your turn to do it. Go to the toilet right now and clean the pit with your hands until the water inside is drinkable!"

After the bespectacled supervisor finished speaking, he turned around and pointed at Cheng An's nose.

"You do it too. If you don't, I'll sue you for insubordination!"

The four-eyed supervisor acted bossy and forced patients to do things, which made everyone feel upset, but there was nothing they could do.

Everyone can only drag their sick bodies and force themselves to get up and work.

"Supervisor, there are errand boys to do the hospital's work, and we don't have to do it, so why bother?"

Chen Shixian suddenly spoke from the side.

Suddenly, everyone's eyes were focused on Chen Shixian.

This boy is so brave!
How brave of you to disobey your supervisor in person!

The bespectacled supervisor was notoriously unreasonable. Everyone called him a mad dog behind his back because he would bite anyone he saw.

The four-eyed supervisor's expression became visibly unhappy. He walked straight to Chen Shixian and gave him a death stare for three seconds.

Then he twitched his nose and sniffed the smell of smoke in the air.

He stretched out his hand to find fault: "Smoking in the infirmary, you are really something, hand it over yourself."

"If I find out, I will send you to the punishment room immediately."

Chen Shixian raised his head and pretended to be dumbfounded: "Boss, I don't know what you are talking about. I don't know what you are talking about!"

"I'm not kidding you, hand over the cigarette!"

"Don't wait for me to conduct a major search, or you'll end up in big trouble!"

Four eyes with a stern face, nothing is more real.

Chen Shixian had no choice. If he caused a large-scale search, he would offend everyone in the ward.

If any contraband is found again, he might be blamed.

So he reached out and took out the cigarette butt from the pillow and put it into Siyan's palm.

"any left?"

"Report to the supervisor, no more."

Siyan still didn't give up. He randomly tossed the bed a few times, deliberately threw the quilt and pillow on the ground and stepped on them.

They didn't stop until they were sure that no other contraband was found.

"14721, I am now accusing you of being undisciplined. Come with me to the Discipline Department to write a report!"

"Boss, you are not serious, are you?"

Chen Shixian was speechless. This four-eyed guy was really difficult to deal with.

"I won't waste my time on you. Let's get on with business. Let's go!"

Siyan pointed at Chen Shixian's nose and said loudly.

"Brother, just think of it as being bitten by a mad dog."

Everyone saw Chen Shixian coming out to take the blame, and with Siyan arousing public anger, the prisoners began to ridicule him out of a common hatred for the enemy.

"There's nothing we can do. Mad dogs have no humanity and they bite people at random!"

Chen Shixian spread his hands, stood up, and looked at Siyan with a smile.

This arrogant look immediately made Siyan even more unhappy, as it was clearly a challenge to his authority.

He stared with wide eyes and pointed at Chen Shixian:
"Watch your mouth, or I'll sue you for insulting your superior!"

Chen Shixian curled his lips and crossed his arms: "Hey, it's scary!"

"You always sue this and that. Is this the court run by your family?"
