"Perhaps I looked closely enough, but the patterns on the vajra and the ancient Buddhist seal script, faintly and clearly, clearly recorded 'A majestic body that lives as long as the heavens, revered as Mount Sumeru under the swaying tree.'"

"It is like the 'Cundi Heaven' that is on par with my Great Deity of Amitabha, the one who attained the supreme Bodhi and became the 'World Honored One,' but later wanted to seek 'Mahayana Buddhism,' so he did not hesitate to test the Dharma with his own body, abandon his practice, and enter the cycle of reincarnation."

"Are you sure you didn't see wrong? Those fourteen Buddhist characters engraved on the vajra, were they really left by the World-Honored One in the Cundi Heaven?"

World Honored One.

In the Pure Land, the title of "Buddha" is the highest honorific for beings who possess the name "Buddha," placing them above all other Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.

He was only one head lower than the ethereal 'Three Heavenly Venerables' of the Immortal Stories, and that was only because of the later verification, they had never truly fought each other.

If placed in the Great Xuan
That is the person who broke through the nine limits and stood at the end of the 'human immortal' realm!

An ordinary Buddhist artifact that fell into the Great Mystery and was left in the Impermanent Realm of All Things could actually be connected to the World-Honored One.

Even if there's only a one in ten thousand chance, it's still an unparalleled treasure!
If one can offer daily sacrifices at the Thousand Buddha Temple altar, accumulating incense offerings, and if it is truly a genuine work of the World-Honored One, then, nourished by such offerings, it will one day manifest its divine power anew, radiating a new appearance.
It is probably a treasure comparable to the lineage of a Bodhisattva or even a Buddha!
For Pure Land practitioners, seeing a genuine 'Buddha' artifact is an irresistible temptation.

The Great Master Danyuan trembled inwardly.

At the same time, he did not doubt the words of Master Kim Kyu.

This fellow practitioner who worked with him and was responsible for promoting the Pure Land Worry-Free Ointment and reviving the Mahayana Immeasurable Bodhisattvas was a 'Sutra and Commentary Monk' in the Mahayana Immeasurable Temple.

Converted to the Great Mystery, it is equivalent to the true lineage within the Heavenly Pillar.

One must thoroughly study the six baskets of Buddhist scriptures, read through all Buddhist texts from ancient and modern times, and win twelve debates within the lineage of a major monastery before one can sit on a meditation cushion, be recognized by an Arhat, receive a decree, and be granted a genuine Buddhist scripture to be kept in his possession. This is what is meant by a 'scripture-discourse monk'.

Monks do not tell lies.

These ancient records are all secret, and he may not know much about them.

However, as a 'Luohan' candidate who is a certainty for future advancement and comparable to a Martial Saint,
Master Jin Kui must know more than he does.

Unlike the Great Master Dan Yuan, who was so shocked by such news that his heart trembled.
At this moment, Master Jin Kui's brows were solemn, as if he were sitting in meditation. After a long while, he exhaled a breath of turbid air, and his expression changed several times:

"Yes, I didn't see wrong."

"Can"

"Regardless of whether it was left by the 'World-Honored One', one thing is beyond doubt."

"If the words inscribed on this vajra are genuine, then it is not the 'Hinayana' path that I use to guide all beings in the heavens to cultivate."

“The teachings of the Mahayana Path, which are now on the verge of being lost, were left behind by Zhunti Heaven.”

Theravada and Mahayana?
The Grandmaster Dan Yuan, who had heard of this concept before but was unfamiliar with its intricacies, looked puzzled upon hearing this:

"Buddhist friend, what is the meaning of this statement?"

Master Jin Kui made no attempt to conceal anything at this moment, and immediately began to speak in detail:

"Among all the heavens, the most prosperous are the Pure Land [Buddha-Tao] Heaven and the Heaven of 'Cundi' and 'Jieyin', both of which have had [World-Honored Ones] who have attained enlightenment." "And the Pure Land system, the two World-Honored Ones who are known as the two great teachers of ancient and modern times, are said to have been debating for thousands of years what is the 'greatest commentator of ancient and modern times'."

"For this reason, the Second Buddha sat and discussed the Dharma for seven days."

“The World-Honored One of the Amitabha Buddha once said: ‘When a Buddha cultivates the ten virtues and merits, he should use ten thousand lifetimes as his resources to save one person. He can obtain the supreme merit, which is the path of the Lesser Vehicle.’”

“The World-Honored One of the Cundi Heaven once said: ‘There are countless Buddhas in the ten directions and three times. All sentient beings possess Buddha-nature. Therefore, everyone should possess the root of wisdom. Sentient beings are not like straw dogs. Everyone can become a Buddha. This is the Mahayana path.’”

"On that day, the so-called Hinayana Buddhism and Mahayana Buddhism came into being, and from then on, they represented the two foundations of the Cundi Heaven and the Jieyin Heaven."

The discourse held that day was later known as the "Seven Days of the Second Buddha".

"I've heard."

"On the first day they talked about immortals, on the second day they talked about gods, on the third day they talked about demons, and on the fourth day they talked about humans."

“Until the very last day, no one knows which Buddha’s teachings are superior.”

"All that is known is that from then on, the World-Honored One of the Heavenly Guides returned, sat on the lotus throne, and was called 'Tathagata'. He established Mount Ling, divided the seats, and made all Buddhas pay homage, just like the ancient Daoist court, the Central Yellow Divine Court, and the great court of humans and immortals."

“Then the World-Honored One of the Cundi Heaven transformed his Buddha-nature and merits into ‘wisdom roots,’ which he enlightened all sentient beings in the Three Realms of the Pure Land, planting a seed within each of them.”

"From then on, everyone was able to embark on spiritual practice, disrupting destiny, but that World-Honored One also entered the cycle of reincarnation and disappeared without a trace."

"These are secrets that only monks in great monasteries are allowed to see. Ordinary monks and Buddhist practitioners, even those who have reached the level of great masters and are comparable to dragons and tigers, have no chance to see them."

Upon hearing this, Master Danyuan's throat bobbed in disbelief:

"In my Pure Land, among all sentient beings, are not all born with the potential for wisdom and capable of cultivation?"

"So this was all because of that World-Honored One?"

Jin Kui Da Shi glanced at him:
"Indeed, it is because of the enlightenment of the World Honored One Zhunti that all things in the Three Realms and all sentient beings can cultivate."

"Even so, some people have profound wisdom and regard all living beings as cattle and horses, while they alone are dragons and elephants, and can become Arhats, Bodhisattvas, or even Buddhas, sitting on lotus thrones and receiving incense offerings."

"But some people have shallow wisdom and little achievement in this life. They can only live a mediocre life."

"And the Tathagata, the World-Honored One of the Receiving Heaven, who sits on the lotus throne and resides high on Mount Ling, even if he does nothing, over time, as the first enlightened being in the world, he is also worshipped as the Buddha."

"So naturally, the Mahayana path was ignored, and even in the Cundi Heaven, few people knew about it."

At this point, Master Jin Kui sighed with emotion:
"When one reaches the end of one's spiritual practice, who would not wish to reclaim great power within themselves? And how many would be willing to make countless grand vows to move heaven and earth and attain Buddhahood?"

"Wouldn't that be like adding unnecessary constraints and chains to this Buddha body, making it impossible for him to be free?"

"This is also why the Hinayana and Mahayana are unknown to the general public."

"But once you and I have achieved our current status and cultivation, we are completely 'Hinayana' Buddhist practitioners. Once we know this, it doesn't matter anymore."

"According to temple secrets."

“There will inevitably come a day in the future when the traces of the Buddha’s path of Mahayana Buddhism will return.”

At this point, Jin Kui Da Shi's eyes filled with an unprecedented heaviness:
"It is said that Buddha once prophesied that it would overthrow all current laws and order, destroy Mount Sumeru, and become the 'enemy of Buddha'."

"The Buddhist inscription on that vajra is a poem praising a title."

"It is indeed the Cundi Heaven, the World Honored One of the Mahayana Path!"

"Under the whole heaven, no two dare to record this!"

"So, fellow Buddhists."

"This object is undoubtedly real."

"A 'sign' powerful enough to overturn the entire Pure Land has arrived!"

The Golden Chest Master stood up, clasped his hands together, and spoke in a solemn tone:

"We must immediately report this matter to the Mahayana Wuliang Temple!"

"This is no longer a question of whether or not to revive the Bodhisattva; it concerns the very foundation of our lives, and on a grander scale."

"It even concerns the Pure Land of the Two Heavens, and the entire Mount Ling!"

"Its harm is far more serious than when the Celestial Master of the Righteous Dharma ascended to the throne, bestowed the title of the Ninth Rank Daoist, and dispatched Daoist troops to invade the Pure Land!"

This statement came out.

Having suddenly received so much information, the Great Master Dan Yuan stood there dumbfounded for a long, long time before he could process it.
And at this time.

Xie Jixuan, who had fled from the Beicang Marquis's mansion with Xie Xun, an elder of the Xie clan, arrived at the Xie clan's villa with gritted teeth.

As for the news about the Marquis of Beicang's residence, it had already been transmitted to Xie Fuyao by Ji Xiu through the Daoist talisman after Xie Xun and Xie Jixuan left.

Although both Xie Fuyao and Xie Fuyao are from the Yuhuan Xie clan and are registered in the clan, Xie Fuyao is a direct descendant and not from the current main branch of the powerful family. She also has little connection with the main branch.
