Sword from the Immortal Mountain

Chapter 1 1: Reincarnation, starting over again

Chapter 1 1: Reincarnation, starting over again
(A thousand words, all in the title)

"Immortal, you are climbing a mountain alone. This mountain is lonely and proud. If you want to reach the top, you can't slack off at all, and you can't be afraid. Youniao, you are extremely talented, but unfortunately your state of mind is not good enough, which leads to your failure in overcoming the tribulation. You have to reincarnate as a corpse."

“Perhaps, this is your great calamity in this world.”

"Here, I, your teacher, will give you a word: look back and slash the world with a sword, and you will see the green mountains in the sky..."

"Thank you Master!"

Before his body turned into light and shadow, he suddenly looked back and saw a towering mountain above the clouds.

Although I have practiced in the mountains for many years, looking up at this moment, I still feel that this mountain is so high...

……

My eyelids felt heavy, as if they were pressed down by two stones.

After several attempts, he finally slowly opened his eyes, only to see a dark color.

The surroundings smelled terrible, a putrid smell mixed with feces, urine and blood that made one want to vomit.

This is actually a prison cell!
He endured the headache and struggled to sit up. Gradually he got used to it, but soon many chaotic memories and thoughts came to his mind, and he felt confused:
Chen Jin is a scholar, only nineteen years old, and has not yet reached adulthood.

He lost both his parents and his family was poor, so he devoted himself to studying poetry and books.

I started taking the boy's exam in February this year and passed both the county and prefectural exams.

Unfortunately, he failed the final stage of the academy examination and was not admitted as a scholar, but only a student.

He was not discouraged and continued his studies, preparing to take the exam again next year.

In order to make a living, Chen Jin went to the city today, taking a family heirloom inkstone with him, planning to pawn it to exchange for money to buy rice.

This was the last thing of value in his hand. Although he was reluctant to give it up, he was so hungry that he had no choice.

Unexpectedly, when passing through a secluded alley, he was hit on the back of the head with a club and fell to the ground unconscious.

When he woke up again, everything had changed and he was behind bars.

Chen Jin's background is unremarkable, there is nothing much to say about it.

What puzzled "him" was: how could his failure in transcending the calamity and reincarnation fall upon this weak scholar?
Could something have gone wrong?
In this case, is it a case of possession? Or is it a case of being hit by a club and then accidentally hitting the target, revealing the mystery in the womb, awakening the wisdom in the past, and giving birth to the true spirit?

For a moment, he couldn't tell the difference.

However, the matter of transformation between life and death is a supreme mystery. Not to mention himself, even if his master were to come, it would be difficult to explain it clearly.

As for the blow that the scholar received, the opponent was obviously an old hand with great skills. The blow did not kill him, but only turned him into an idiot, with no visible external injuries.

It was only with the appearance of "him" that this body regained life.

But the current situation is not good and I can’t figure out what’s going on.

Have you been robbed?

The problem is that the inkstone is not a treasure, it can only be regarded as a coin at most;

Besides, if it’s just robbery, then why would you send someone to jail?
As for making enemies or provoking retaliation from others, the possibility is not high.

The Chen family, who came from a family of scholars, was considered a large family in the local area, with a large population and relatively complex interpersonal relationships.

But he was always low-key and had little presence. He spent most of his time studying hard, never quarreled, and never made enemies with anyone.

No matter how you look at it, no one in the tribe should want to put him to death.

I couldn't figure it out, so I put it aside for the time being.

Thinking of his own situation, he couldn't help but sigh: Including this time, he has been a human being for three lifetimes.

The road has not been completed yet, so I have to go around in circles and start all over again.

Perhaps, it is just as Master said: A great catastrophe in the mortal world will eventually happen.

But the start of this game was a bit difficult.

Although the scholar's physique was not so weak that he could not even tie a chicken, he was really weak and frail. He could not even lift anything slightly heavy.

It can be said that there is no foundation at all. If you want to practice, you can only start from scratch.

But there is no way. It has become like this. It is impossible to separate it and replace it with someone else.

There is no replacement. However, this scholar has studied hard for many years and has great determination and patience.

If I had an unstable temperament and a shaky mindset, I wouldn't have persisted for so many years. I endured a life of poverty, resisted temptations, and devoted myself to reading the books of sages.

In terms of character, it is a good advantage.

Yeah, sure.

The "newcomer" smiled slightly, showing an optimistic attitude of finding joy in adversity to face the difficulties before him.

He has been practicing in the mountains all the time.

There are no years in the mountains, and the years pass by quickly. One is unaware of the changes in the human world, and does not witness the vicissitudes of life. Now is the perfect time to make use of this identity and have a good trip.

From now on, he is "Chen Jin".

Continue combing.

Now that we are in trouble, we have no one to rely on but to save ourselves.

If he were still that weak scholar, he would naturally be helpless and wait for death.

However, he had practiced Taoism for a hundred years and was once an immortal cultivator who was close to the top of the mountain. How could he be self-pitying and be controlled by others?

Although he was currently restricted by physical problems and could not use his magical powers temporarily, his spirit and soul were directly manifested, his memory was still there, and he mastered many secret mental methods. He only needed to seize the time, practice again, and then strengthen himself, and finally break the cage here and regain his freedom. This was not a difficult task.

What he learned in the mountains was the orthodox Taoist method called "Huangting Benjing".

This sutra is profound and extremely mysterious. After practicing it, one can reach the great way, overcome calamities and ascend to become a true immortal.

Although he failed to transcend the tribulation due to his flawed state of mind and had to be reborn, he was confident that after reincarnation and cultivation, he would be able to make up for his shortcomings and ascend to the top again.

The Huang Ting Ben Jing is divided into three parts: upper, middle and lower:

The lower Dantian nourishes the essence and yang;

The middle dantian washes the essence and blood;

Refining the spirit and soul in the upper Dantian;

Therefore, it is also known as "The Original Sutra of Three Spirits".

When it is mastered, the three flowers will gather at the top of the head and the five energies will converge into one, achieving transcendence and freedom.

The cultivation system of this world corresponds to the methods of cultivation and divides the realms into the following order: refining essence into Qi, refining Qi into spirit, refining spirit into emptiness, and refining emptiness into harmony with the Tao.

Each major realm is further divided into three stages: “early, middle and late”.

Collectively known as the "Twelve Realms".

The Scripture says: The great number of the heavens is no more than twelve;

The number twelve represents "perfection". Similar expressions include the twelve hours, the twelve months, etc. These are not randomly chosen.

He had already memorized the "Huangting Benjing" and was familiar with the relevant methods and tricks, so he could practice it at any time.

Without further ado, we went to check the condition of the body and found another unexpected surprise.

It turned out that the scholar had not been close to women for nearly twenty years, and the color of his lower dantian had remained quite pure.

With this foundation, you can achieve twice the result with half the effort when cultivating Jing Yang.

Essence and yang are the innate foundation, the fire of life, the source of human body's dynamic activity, and are of vital importance.

As long as you practice it well, you can lay the foundation for a complete transformation.

It seems that being reincarnated into this body is not so bad. As long as you explore it patiently, you can always find many advantages and strengths.

"Not bad!"

The gloom in his heart was swept away and he couldn't help but laugh.

"Hey, are you crazy? You are about to die, but you can still laugh."

Suddenly, a voice was heard.

There is not only Chen Jin imprisoned in this cell, there is also a second person.
