My ninjutsu is not right

Chapter 6 Admission

Chapter 6 Admission
The entrance examination to the Ninja School does not restrict the ninjutsu that candidates can use.

Rather, it is better to say that the more difficult the ninjutsu released is, the better, and the more powerful it is, the better, because the examiners' subjective judgment is also part of the test.

Just like Might Guy and Rock Lee, who failed to release their ninjutsu, were able to show different physiques in subsequent physical tests and were eventually specially promoted to the school.

Subjective judgments like this are prevalent throughout the ninja system of Konoha Village.

The same is true for students who want to graduate from the Ninja School. Even if they fail the exam, if the teacher agrees to graduate, they can skip the exam and become a Genin.

Of the two ways for Genin to be promoted to Chunin, the Chunin exam does not look at who is stronger, but rather at the rather vague 'coordination ability'; the other selection path is even more vague, as long as the higher-ups deem you qualified, you can be promoted.

The same is true for the promotion of Chunin to Special Jonin or Jonin. It all depends on the subjective judgment of the superiors. That is, if a Chunin feels that there are enough students in the ninja school, he can directly promote the students to Genin. If a Jonin feels that the Genin under his command is talented, he can recommend his subordinates to become Chunin. If the Hokage feels that a Chunin is talented, he can promote him to Special Jonin or Jonin.

Under such conditions, there will naturally not be any examination conditions that are so strict that they cannot be changed at all.

Link was thinking silently, when he suddenly heard someone calling him to go in for the exam. He suppressed his trivial thoughts and stepped into the examination room.

"Good morning, examiners." He bowed slightly, then stood up straight and looked at the two examiners.

"You can start now." One of them said.

Link bowed again. In such a subjective test, he had to leave a good impression on the examiner.

Then seal——

[Very standard and skilled hand seals, the speed is not bad, is it the clone technique? A good choice]

Mizuki looked at him and nodded. Before the ninjutsu was successfully released, this kid had done it very standardly. As long as there was no problem in refining the chakra, he would definitely be able to release it regardless of success or not.

[Lin, are both your parents ninjas who died in the line of duty? What a pity.]

He was just thinking about it, and saw that Link did not successfully release the Clone Technique after completing the seal. He was about to speak out the result, and then -

"?!"

Mizuki watched as Link removed his head and performed the exact same action as his colleague: disrupting the chakra in his body.

"untie!"

He found that the scene in front of him was still the candidate holding his head. The corner of his eye twitched and he turned to look at his colleague. The two looked at each other almost at the same time, and saw surprised expressions on both of their faces.

"?"X2
The two Chunins had weird things written all over their heads and faces. Mizuki turned around and watched Link put his head back on, then detached his arms, waved them around, and said, "Is this okay?"

"..."

[Illusion? Special secret technique? Or some kind of bloodline limit?]

Shuimu was not flustered. He guessed in his mind, circled the evaluation form to indicate that he passed, and then wrote in the comments below:

[Successfully release ninjutsu and possess special talents]

"Link, you're accepted," he said.
-
"Whoo~"

After leaving the examination room, Link breathed a sigh of relief, feeling relieved. Being admitted to the Ninja School meant that he would have a jonin or a special jonin as a mentor. Regardless of whether he could become a strong man or not, at least he could enjoy the shade under a big tree. Even if he died, it would not be inexplicable, and he had a step forward.

The next step is to find a way to graduate faster and turn the 'future' into the 'present'.

Holding the admission letter, he ran home, passing by many envious children and parents.

There is still a week before school starts. The Ninja School in Konoha Village is similar to the Japanese school in my previous life, with three semesters and three holidays a year. The holidays are not very long.

He still has a week to enrich himself before he starts campus life.

After returning home and putting away the admission letter, Link went out to buy some—

What’s interesting is that attached to the admission letter are the essential props that will be used in the Ninja School, which are the props that ninjas need.

These include: scroll sets, leggings, waist bags, dart sets, kunai sets, and corresponding darts, kunai, shuriken and other equipment.

In addition to the consumables mentioned above, ninjas actually have many necessary items, such as open-toed sandals, hand guards, vests, forehead protectors, etc. However, those items are not very common and they will be distributed after promotion, so there is no need to prepare them yourself.

For example, a forehead protector will be issued when you become a Genin, and a vest will be issued when you become a Chuunin.

Although the things that need to be purchased may seem insignificant, they are actually a considerable expense. Before Link's father died, he had quite a few similar props, but after a period of consumption, he did not replenish them for the sake of his livelihood, and in the end there were very few left.

If you don't want to be a ninja, it doesn't matter whether you buy it or not. But if you want to be a ninja and enter a ninja school, you can't save on the necessary props.

Ninja tool throwing is part of the physical training curriculum in school and cannot be omitted.

There are five courses in total for judging grades in the Ninja School: Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Individual, Group, and Tactics. (From the report card that Sasuke got back when he first started school in the comics)

There is no need to explain much about ninjutsu and taijutsu. For individuals, it is simulation of actual combat, while for groups, it is coordination of simulation of actual combat, as well as the final tactics involving combat thinking.

But not only that, Ninja School also has a large number of basic courses:

Physical exercise, learning basic knowledge, and cultural courses (team strategy, formations, code interpretation, ninja code, drug identification, astronomy and geography, physics, chemistry, history, flower arrangement classes specifically for female ninjas, etc.).

Although there will not necessarily be an exam, and it will not even be used as a basis for graduation or as a teacher's subjective judgment of students, it does exist objectively.

It can be said that just by reading the appendix in the admission letter, Link already felt a headache.

After graduating from school in his previous life, he basically didn't learn anything. Now that he has traveled through time, he still has to study a lot of cultural courses, which is somewhat difficult for him.

Fortunately, even if you don't study the academic subjects well or don't study them at all, it will not affect your ability to become a Genin.

For example, Uzumaki Naruto was so poor in academic subjects that even though he became a Genin, he still didn't know basic knowledge like the names of chakras. He didn't understand and start learning about the changes in chakra properties until he entered Shippuden.

You know, even among the D-level ninjutsu that can be practiced by Genin, some of them include attribute changes, that is, ninjutsu with the prefix X-遁.

It’s no wonder that he has always been a Genin since he doesn’t know such basic common sense (laughs).
