Rebirth 1977 Great Era
Chapter 759: Meet the four great pediatric experts in Beijing and show off one of the lost He family
Chapter 759: Meet the four great pediatric experts in Beijing and show off the lost He family skills (Monthly ticket plus more)
It was already past the morning rush hour and Fangyan was driving on the road, which was quite pleasant.
Unlike riding a motorcycle, he couldn't feel the cold outside at all at this moment.
Even the noisy sounds were blocked out.
Suddenly, a sentence popped into my mind: "Enjoy the fun of driving."
In the past, Fangyan had only experienced the joy of driving from his father when he was riding a motorcycle. Now he drives around the city, feeling the driving feel of this old car.
This is only his second time parading since the last one.
The main reason was that I had nowhere to go, so I stayed in the hospital.
This has attracted a lot of traffic to the hospital parking lot.
There are quite a few people outside, not seeking medical treatment, but just coming to see the ambulances and the old sports cars that speak in dialect.
After two days, there were finally fewer people coming to watch the fun, so Fang Yan took this opportunity to open it.
It didn't take long for Fang Yan to get to the vicinity of the Yenching Children's Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University in Xicheng District. He arrived at the entrance of the clinic and found a place to park the car on the side of the road.
I glanced at the time before getting off the bus. It was not yet nine o'clock.
At this moment, no one was seen coming to the door of the pharmacy, only two employees from the store were cleaning the door.
When the two saw Fangyan's strangely shaped car, they stared at it in amazement until they saw Fangyan open the gull-wing door, then they reacted.
"Doctor Fang is here!" The two men greeted Fang Yan.
Fangyan nodded, then went to the trunk and took out the moxibustion box and silver needles that he might get today.
The last batch of golden needles are not ready yet, otherwise Fangyan golden needles would have to be brought along as well.
The He family's medical skills originated from Taoist medicine, so gold needles are also used in acupuncture.
But it is not necessary today, as there is more than one way to solve the problem, especially after being improved by my grandfather He Xiu, many of the He family's methods are other treatment methods created by him.
Today Fangyan wants to show his grandfather's skills in front of everyone and gain their recognition.
After entering the room, Fangyan found that there were already many parents of patients and their children queuing inside.
Next to the examination table, Old Deng and Grandpa Wang Pengfei were already waiting inside. In addition, there were three people with young people sitting not far from the examination table, chatting about something.
When they saw Fang Yan coming in, Old Deng and Old Man Wang Pengfei immediately greeted Fang Yan:
"Fangyan is coming! Come here quickly!"
Fang Yan walked over, and old man Wang Pengfei pulled him in front of the three people and introduced them to Fang Yan:
"Let me introduce you to these three people, they were as famous as your grandfather back then, Song Zuomin, Yang Yinong, and Zhu Boquan."
Fangyan had already inquired about their information before, and now he can find the right person.
Song Zuomin has a head full of black hair and looks to be in his early fifties. He is very tall with a long face. He is the chief physician of Capital Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a direct disciple of Kong Bohua, the director of the Department of Pediatrics of Capital Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the leader of the discipline of Pediatrics of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Yang Yinong has a head full of white hair, a mustache, long eyebrows, and kind eyes. He is known as "Little Yang" in the East City area of BJ. He looks to be about the same age as Wang Pengfei.
In addition, there is Zhu Boquan, who is a little fat and has a round face. He actually looks a bit like an older version of Lin Shengyong. He studied under the famous old Chinese medicine doctor Zhao Shuping.
He started practicing medicine in 1942. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he was admitted to BJ City Traditional Chinese Medicine Continuing Education School for further studies in 1950.
Later, he established the Haidian United Clinic and served as its director. In 1956, he was transferred to work at the Haidian Hospital.
He is clinically well-known for his expertise in treating a variety of diseases, especially pediatric emergencies.
They all have a younger person by their side, and judging from their appearance, you can tell that they must be their grandchildren.
"Fang Yan greets the three seniors." Fang Yan bowed to the three people respectfully.
Yang Yinong said with a smile:
"Well, this kid is good-looking, much more pleasing to the eye than He Xiu."
Song Zuomin on the side said:
"How about introducing your granddaughter to him?"
Instead of refusing, Yang Yinong's eyes lit up.
At this time, Zhu Boquan said with a smile:
"Hahaha, Old Yang, she's already married. This isn't the old society anymore. Men can have three wives and four concubines. It's too late for you to find a son-in-law for your grandson."
When Yang Yinong heard this, he immediately cursed:
"Go away, you can't spit out ivory from a dog's mouth!"
When Fangyan saw the status of these people, he knew that they should be in touch with each other on a regular basis.
Otherwise it would be impossible to speak like that.
Afterwards, several people greeted Fangyan one by one, and then they got to know each other.
The three young men behind them watched the whole process silently without saying anything, as if they were there just to learn and observe.
Don’t talk if you can avoid it.
After they finished their introduction, Wang Pengfei said to Fang Yan:
"We released the news a few days ago, and there were people lining up here early this morning. It seems that you have a great influence. In the past, there were not many people coming here at noon."
Fang Yan smiled and asked him:
"When can we start?"
Mr. Wang Pengfei said:
"I've already greeted them. They're just here with their juniors to watch the fun. You're ready and can start at any time."
"Okay." Fangyan nodded.
He glanced at his watch. It was exactly 9 o'clock, and it was almost time to officially start.
Then Fangyan came to the examination table and said to the patients in line:
"Then be the first one to come up."
After hearing the dialect, the first patient's family member, a young couple, hurried up with their child in their arms.
They were holding a little boy who was probably two or three years old.
"Doctor Fang, we just came from the hospital over there. We heard that you were going to see a doctor here, so we came here." The patient's family member said, pointing to the Children's Hospital not far away across the street.
These words embarrassed Wang Pengfei who was standing next to him.
Isn’t the hospital across the street where my son is?
What it means is that his son had an uncured disease, and when the other party heard Fang Yan coming to treat the disease, they took the child away.
Fangyan didn't know whether to laugh or cry after hearing this. He asked Mr. Wang for help, but the first patient turned out to be from his son's staff. But patients don't care about these things. They only recognize doctors who can cure their diseases.
At this time, the patient's parents have already started talking about the condition in dialect:
"Seven or eight days ago, my child picked his nose with his hands, causing nose bleeding. We stopped the bleeding at home, but he started to have convulsions the next day. We took him to the hospital for examination and he was diagnosed with tetanus. He was given a tetanus antitoxin serum. On the third day, he had a lumbar eye blockade with procaine and prednisone, but it still didn't heal. He has been drinking Chinese medicine in the hospital these days, but the effect is not obvious."
"He has convulsions at irregular intervals every day. When he has an attack, the inside of his mouth and lips turn purple and he has difficulty breathing. When he is not having an attack, he is still conscious, but his reactions are a little slow. His whole face is tight, his mouth can't open, and his neck is stiff. He has also started to have bad breath since that nosebleed, and he only defecates once every few days."
Fangyan nodded:
"Yeah, okay! Let me check it out first."
Fangyan came to the child, pinched his Cun, Guan and Chi pulses, and found that the pulse was stringy and weak, and the fingerprints on the palm were dark purple.
The tongue coating cannot be seen because the mouth cannot be opened.
It is not easy to use dialect directly around his chin, so we have to deduce it from other places.
This is also a typical case of pediatrics being called a dumb subject.
In order to make people around him understand his analysis, Fangyan took out a pen and paper and started writing.
When the other old men saw him starting to write the medical records, they all came up behind him.
Even the young people who followed him were no exception and came over one after another.
I saw that the dialect characters were different from the sloppy handwriting of most Chinese medicine practitioners. It was written very well, and at a fairly fast speed, as if he was deliberately showing off his calligraphy.
He only wrote:
The child's current symptoms:
Convulsions occur at irregular intervals, with blue lips and difficulty breathing during an attack.
During the intervals, he was conscious but unresponsive.
The face is tense, the jaw is clenched, and the neck is stiff.
Bad breath and constipation last for several days.
Pulse: Stringy, strong and unharmonious.
Fingerprints: dark purple.
Tongue: Cannot be observed due to clenched teeth.
analysis:
The child's nose picking caused bleeding and may damage the nasal mucosa, but subsequent development of convulsions indicated exogenous invasion or endogenous wind.
In traditional Chinese medicine, convulsions are often associated with "internal liver wind", which may be caused by extreme heat generating wind, yin deficiency generating wind, or blood deficiency generating wind. The child here has constipation and bad breath, indicating that internal heat is congested.
Stringy pulse indicates liver disease, pain syndrome, and phlegm and fluid; strong pulse indicates evil.
Dark purple fingerprints in children usually indicate blood stasis or internal heat and toxicity.
Bad breath and constipation are typical manifestations of Yangming Fu Shi syndrome, indicating heat accumulation in the gastrointestinal tract and obstruction of Fu Qi.
Neck stiffness and clenched jaws are similar to "spasm syndrome". "Golden Chamber Synopsis" mentions that "spasm is a disease with chest fullness, closed mouth, inability to lie on the mat, cramps in the feet, and teeth grinding". It is mostly caused by excessive heat damaging body fluids or wind and phlegm blocking the meridians.
The syndrome differentiation is: internal liver wind movement, Yangming bowel fullness, and combined blood stasis and heat.
TCM disease name: spasm syndrome (heat-excess-moving-wind syndrome)
According to pediatric treatment advice: clear away heat and extinguish wind, clear the bowels and purge heat, assist with promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, and in the later stage it is necessary to nourish yin and soften the liver, and harmonize qi and blood.
Because the child was unable to speak, acupuncture was used first, using the Ren Zhong, Hegu, Taichong and Quchi acupoints (strong stimulation, draining method) to open the orifices, wake the mind, extinguish wind and stop convulsions.
Then use massage to clear the liver meridian, stomach meridian, and six internal organs (He's pediatric massage technique) to assist in clearing heat and unblocking the bowels.
prescription:
9 grams of stir-fried silkworm pupa, 12 grams of chrysanthemum, 12 grams of white peony root, 12 grams of bamboo shavings, 9 grams of whole scorpion, 6 grams of calamus, 9 grams of processed arisaema, 12 grams each of Poria cocos and Poria cocos, 9 grams of Uncaria rhynchophylla, 9 grams of Polygala tenuifolia, 9 grams of stir-fried Citrus aurantium, and 6 grams of dyed rush. A total of 3 doses.
Also use one pill of Children's Rejuvenating Pill (made from Fritillaria cirrhosa, dried tangerine peel, costus root, white cardamom, fructus aurantii, pinellia ternata, agarwood, rhizoma dahliae, bombyx batryticatus, scorpion, and sandalwood), dissolve it in boiled water and take it in two doses.
The treatment plan was clearly organized and also showed He Xiu's methods, which made the old men's eyes light up.
As for Fangyan, who received attention, he didn't care about the people behind him after he finished writing. He took out the silver needles on his body and started to use them directly on the child.
After the needle was inserted, but before it was completely left in place, the child suddenly relaxed, opened his mouth and burst into tears.
The patient's parents were stunned.
You have to know that before this child could not open his mouth, he could only receive injections and infusions, and Chinese medicine could only be injected through his nose.
As a result, after a few injections of Fangyan, he can speak directly.
The couple was simply amazed by her beauty. They coaxed the child while praising her in dialect:
"Doctor Fang, you are amazing! The baby can move after just a few injections!"
At this time, Song Zuomin came up to Wang Pengfei, who looked embarrassed, and asked him:
"Old Wang, how did you treat Wang Yinglin?"
Wang Pengfei's neck turned red after hearing this. He turned around and said:
"Old Song, there are so many people in the hospital, must he be the one to treat them? You just heard that the treatment methods include intravenous injections and Chinese medicine, which is obviously different from ours."
Zhu Boquan on the side said:
"That's right. It sounds like a doctor who combines Chinese and Western medicine is messing around!"
After saying that, he turned his head and looked at Fang Yan, praising him:
"But the grandson of the old He family is really good at diagnosis. He found the problem in such a short time and analyzed it clearly. I can't be as fast as him."
After he said this, the young men following behind him had different expressions. Some looked unconvinced, some nodded slightly in agreement, and some were eager to try, as if they were competing with the dialect.
At this time, Fangyan had already started to perform massage techniques.
As his movements were performed, the child stopped crying quickly, and then looked at Fang Yan with curiosity. It was obvious that he had not expected that as Fang Yan performed the massage technique, all the discomforts on his body seemed to disappear in an instant. As he massaged again and again, Song Zuomin nodded and confirmed:
"This is Lao He's specialty!"
“I didn’t expect to see it again after all these years.”
At this time, Yang Yinong frowned slightly and asked:
"Eh? Lao He has been gone for so many years. No one taught him. How did he learn it?"
PS: After finishing this chapter, I still owe you 80000 words.
